AVOID AT ALL COST

AVOID AT ALL COST !
I wouldn't even rate 1 star if I had the choice. LEE KENNEY KEZZA that claims to be an plumber of 15 years experience which didn't show when he carried out for works for someone I know. I even had 3 other qualified plumbers come in and confirm the poor standards that they witnessed. Lee comes across nice and friendly at first , he gave a quote and asked for deposit up front and rest of payment got paid when all works got done. Lee took a advantage of an innocent vulnerable women. He caused damaged on the work top when he changed the kitchen sink, burned marks on walls/tiles when soldering ,he even left a leak behind the 2 toilets he fitted behind the two toilets he fitted the values incorrectly. When I went on holiday he took advantage by demanding money off the perso ,even turned up at their relatives house pressurising them of paying. He even charged them extra for works that didn't get carried out like for new hole for waste pipe that didn't even need. There were occasions he failed to turn up to finish and put right the jobs he did. When he did turn up on the days of work he smelt of drugs and alcohol, explained he was going through difficulties with he's girlfriend. When I challenged him on the conditions of the poor standard of work and jobs he charged extra for. Lee was started getting defensive, abusive and threatening behaviour which I have records of my phone. He said hell pay back the extra charges to their bank account and never did. Avoid the Lee can't be trusted and is a cowboy. I wouldn't want this to the next person. I'm even in the process of trading standards.

AVOID this company

AVOID this company! To any potential customers out there: please pay heed to all the one star reviews of PHD Plumbing Heating and Drainage; the stories sound a lot like my own experience…
Lee sounded convincing at first but he did not fulfil any of his promises. He took a hefty deposit, pulled the bathroom apart and farmed the re-fit work out to someone else who then did not complete the job. Lee rarely showed up and was generally very difficult to get hold of. When I queried the quality of the work and asked for a refund he became furious and verbally intimidating on the phone. After that he stopped answering my calls and we never heard from him again. It was a lot of wasted money with nothing to show for it except a ruined bathroom. It was a big mistake to engage the ‘services’ of PHD.

The plumber replaced the diaphragm in a water closet. Alas he did not replace any washers so after he left the WC leaked from 3 places. I purchased 3 washers from B&Q and after a few hours assembled it all so it did not leak. I don't think they are an honest firm - I rang a Medway number but there is no sign of any presence in this area, it's probably all gig workers. Not replacing old hardened washers simply guarantees leaks

Do not use under any circumstances, this is not a person to trust with your property

My first contact with Lee from PHD Plumbing seemed productive and I was reassured that he would competently and swiftly carry out two bathroom renovations to a rented property that I own. The experience however has been the worst I have encountered with any contractor in over 20 years. We experienced weeks and then months of delays, faulty work, water leaks and ultimately costly damage to the property as a result of Lee's work in addition to the tenants feeling harrassed by Lee's actions.

We were left with two damaged bathrooms, damage to the property due to two water leaks and I have had to pay another independent contractor to repair the damage and reinstall both bathrooms. I am now having to pursue legal avenues to recover funds and seek damages.

Do not be fooled by the positive reviews, it seems that Lee's actions are now affecting others too. This is not a person to trust with your property, do not use PHD Plumbing, Heating & Drainage under any circumstances.

slow drainage made worse

Lee from PHD came to fix a slow draining bath, left me with the same problem but with apipe in a slightly worse condition! He initially said the problem was the pipe under the bathtub being block, I watched him wash it out and it was quite clear (I had used lots of pipe cleaner previously so I knew it was not blocked), then he said I could get the whole system machine cleaned for around £600! Then said I could just get the down pipe cleared for around £300. Then said a new air trap would fix the problem, I questioned if it would flow better, he assured me it would, I went with this option but there was NO improvement. He charged £20 for the part that wasn't even £10. I had to ask him to put things back the way they were before but because he had cut a pipe it wasn't the same. On top of this he damaged the original part so I can no longer take it out - I've got before and after pictures but I can't upload them here. He seemed more concerned about making (more) money than actually finding and solving the problem. I was so frustrated and annoyed I forgot to get him to clean the down pipe which was why I called him in the first place. Fool me!

Way to expensive

These were called out for a potentially blocked drain, they apparently used a camera and a jet to clear about 20 feet of pipe pushing just toilet paper out of the end of the pipe all over the floor for me to clear up, it took less than 40 minutes and cost over £400 they also suggested I needed another manhole at £700 plus vat. This job I've found out could have been done with a set of £10 drain rods! Not happy dosn't cover it.

Water leak noticed on return from holiday. The leak got worse as the day went on so needed to turn off water. Chose this plumbing service from Checkatrade and so pleased that I did. Lee arrived and sorted the problem. Straightforward no nonsense professional service. He talked me through what the problem was, how he would fix it and the cost involved. I would fully recommend Lee and his company. If I have any further plumbing needs then Lee will be the first plumber I will call. He deserves a full 5 stars.

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING PHD services

I called up Lee from PHD back in Feb. Instead of notifying me, I didn't realise he subcontracted the job to another company.
I transferred £3k to subcontractor Drain Plumb for some works but cancelled shortly when they couldn't do all of what they promised and wouldn't reduce the price. It is now 4 months and I still don't have my money.
I contacted Lee since he was the main contractor. He wasn't able to provide any info on the subcontracting company and now he is avoiding my calls, texts and emails.
I can't comment on his work but please be careful before deciding to use him.

PHD plumbing

I called PHD plumbing to manage leak from the water softener installed by a 3rd party. Lee attended on a short notice and sorted it out.
We called him again to install towel rails, cladding panels and install new shower in bath room. The quality of finish was top class.
Fully recommended....

Fast and efficient

Had to call out PHD Plumbing for an emergency plumbing leak at 1am. Lee was fast and efficient considering how late it was.
He managed to get the leak under control very quickly and avoided any further damage to my house.
Thanks again for coming out so quickly. I wont go anywhere else for any plumbing needs now. :)
