I raised a query with Croydex at approximately 9:00 am this morning regarding a toilet seat I had purchased which had a problem with the soft close mechanism. I had a reply by 9:30 requesting a copy o... See more

There was NO VIDEO to show how to install the Britannia Curved Towel Rack.
Our handyman said your diagrams were NOT HELPFUL.
The same problem with the Croydex towel bar.
We are spreading the word DO NOT BUY CORYDEX PRODUCTS.

Twice I contacted this company for a problem with a soap dispenser and both times the service has been impeccable.

Ontario toilet soft close seat stopped working in less than a year, contacted Croydex was told to send a video of the seat slamming shut which would potentially smash the toilet pan! before they would send a replacement I offered to pay for replacement parts which they do not hold in stock?take a video send the seat back!,
Easier to buy new seat definitely not CROYDEX

Just received excellent service from the Croydex customer service team. Would just like to send my tanks to the team especially Alison. Painless problem solving.

I now have 3 shampoo hoses by croydex.
None of them fit onto my wash basin taps.
Not sure why I keep buying them.
How am I supposed to get them onto the taps?
The holes are far too small.
My husband has tried cutting them but still can't fit on.

If I could give their big seat a zero I would. Dreadful product. Spent an hour fannying around trying to fit it with the hopeless instructions. Coincidentally my plumber came round as he was working next door and just said” they are sh#t “. I chucked it in the bin bought a conventional toilet seat and fitted it in 10 minutes. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Two-tier Croydex shower caddy with 5-year rust guarantee was severely rusty within a few months. Apparently this is normal, but for some reason B&Q continue to sell them. No problem getting a refund from B&Q.
Bought toilet seat with Flexi fit non slip fitting, but no matter how much you tighten screws it slips, I suggest buying any toilet seat with conventional fittings as Flexi fit is rubbish, I wish my old one hadn't broken, will need a new seat before long
Bought a two tier basket for the shower. Life Time guarantee and rust proof. I’m now on my second one, they have both delaminated and are falling apart. Terrible product, expensive and not fit for purpose
Faulty product still on sale.
Croydex said the item had been redisigned...but didn't help me.
I bought one today
Lugano toilet seat £40. A replacement had the same issue with the seat base protectors.
I can see why Croydex get a poor rating.
We purchased a Flexi Fix toilet seat from Wickes yesterday and are so impressed with the quality and design. It was very easy to fit with top and bottom fix to the pan without removing the whole toilet like our last loo seat. Easily adjust the seat to suit the toilet pan, easy to clean with no tight corners to navigate and best of all is the ‘quick release button’ for easy seat removal to hygienically clean around the hinges!

The Croydex products in general are good ,but the Chrome range of shower basket shelves are worst ever experienced ,
They buy the stuff from China we know that put large mark up on it sell it as quality .
In this case failed in there quality control of there chrome applied to products think as a 25 year guarantee .
if if it lasted 5 years been happy lasted weeks went rusty with in few weeks gets better i complained as i buy for for multiple property and had lot units thank god didn't fit ,There superb in customer service replaced fast and bet they rusted faster than time to find my invoice get replacement ,
This revue is to kick ass at Croydex and sack supplier or sort it you dont pay £25 to £30 for product for rust for recycling bin ,I will buy other products but stay away from chrome shelving not fit for purpose .
Please Croydex tell your manufacturer to spend few more pennies putting reasonable chrome layer .
I purchased a Croytex Ontario wooden toilet seat from Wickes last year (2023) as my old wooden one, which had bolt fixings, had split. All I can say about the product is that this 'immovable' toilet seat does no such thing, in fact it slides from side to side and backward and forwards. Totally fed up of trying to slide it back into position only to have to do it again the next day! And don't get me started on the embarrassment of having guests tell me "Your toilet seat is on the move again"! This is the first time ever that I have had a toilet seat that continually goes 'walkabout', and I will never buy one of these things again! Bring back bolt fixings!
Brought two oak effect toilet seats about 9 months ago both have broken where metal joins bottom of toilet seat, looks to me that the metal used I very corrosive and easily brakes Waste of money a won’t be buying anything that has this company name on it in the future.
I brought the constance croydex toilet seat. Within days the seat started to vibrate loudly and squeak as it soft closed. Adjusting the nuts, using wd40 did nothing. I emailed the company with videos for guidance, I received no reply. I found others complain of the same issues, the hinges on the actual seat are loose, wobble.
I purchased shower caddies through a third party. There was a problem with them so I tried to contact the third party who were more than useless (Victoria plum - I was not impressed by them) as I knew they were made by Croydex I contacted them direct. I spoke to a very helpful lady Tracey H who responded swiftly and requested for my proof of purchase and some photos and as soon as I sent them she dispatched two replacements.
Excellent service Thankyou.
I will use again
Maybe I would not have bought my seat if I had seen these comments first, I have purchased mine for £30 and I am pleased with the quality and the ease of fixing. I think it is a great seat that replaced the one I paid over £100.00 for.
Bought an Croydex oak toilet seat from Amazon but it developed a split after 2 months, and Amazon customer service is non-existant. Phoned Croydex dircetly, who asked for an invoice and photos, which is entirely reasonable, and a replacement was with me next day. That's great service without a quibble, so it gets 5 stars from me. Well done.
I purchased a two tier shower corner, medium sized, rack. It was advertised as "5 year rust free". It started rusting after less than a year and now at 2.3 years is rusting all over. I not e many many similar complaints. This is a Trades Descriptions Act issue and Croydex need to chnage their advertising as it is misleading. Remove the rust guarantee.
Products do not stick as advertised.
I'll give them two stars because the products themselves are generally very nicely designed, they just don't have 5* functionality.
I have had a number of Croydex products. I am reasonably aware of material science and have ensured that the surfaces are appropriate and clean before applying. However, my metal shower caddy has a) rusted (after 2 years) and b) fallen off, despite being attached to smooth tiles. I attempted to contact customer services, to obtain replacement sticky pads but have had no reply back. I believe this is the second time I have contacted them. I do not believe the 'sticky' pads can withstand being showered constantly, they seem to be fine applied to dry areas (e.g. robe hook), but not in the shower area. I had the same trouble with the plastic shower tray, with suckers. The ideal to me would be plastic shower tray (no rust and lightweight) and sticky pads that withstand getting wet everyday. It's just too expensive a product to have these sorts of issues. Also the chrome does rust, just like every other shower caddy under the sun... 5 year guarantee?
