We were out of country. Wife wanted to shop. We went into store and the sales people separated my wife and me as quick as we walked in. They kept giving me Achol (my mistake for taking it but i was on vacation).
The surround my wife with many salespeople and just kept putting things on her fingers and neck at the same time.
My wife is a diabetic and her sugar was way low ( good thing she has the G6 so i can see her sugar level) I tried to get her away but the salespeople super pushy and again gave me and my other 2 friends Achol.
When we got back home we tried to contact so we can GIVE back the jewelry but they were rude. Only Store credit. I WOULD RECOMMEND staying away from this place - far far away.. I m still dealing with this horrible experience!!
Well I called all the numbers I found for them. Left voice messages never got a return call.
Sent Certified letter
Many emails. And their response was we give you store credit.. I would highly recommend to stay away from Diamonds International !!!

I made a somewhat impulsive diamond ring purchase on a cruise. I just fell in love with the ring, and they had a discount and an amazing financing option. They didn’t charge me very much to size it. After I got home, I was nervous that I might have overpaid for it, but I really did love the ring. I contacted diamonds international and got in touch with one of their recommended appraisers. The appraisal report reassured me that I got an excellent quality ring, and actually put the ring value at more than what I paid (in line with the original sticker price). I didn’t have any issues getting the ring insured. Overall I’m really pleased with the experience and absolutely love my beautiful, sparkly ring!
I'm not giving the crown of light diamond a review of one star. I would just like for someone to listen to me and maybe someone else has had this problem. Here is my story. My husband bought my crown of light ring in Grand Turk for our 22 anniversary in april my ring was absolutely beautiful. I went on a cruise to Cozumel and my husband said that I could get a band at Diamond International there. I was so excited. I went in to look at bands. I found one right away. It need to be sized and while the lady was gonna have it sized, she asked me if I wanted my ring cleaned. MY ring didn't need to be cleaned but while I was there thinking to myself it maybe a while before I'm near another Diamond International. I could not get the ring on my finger so I was thinking that maybe I was swelling from the salt water after being on the beach. So she gave me a bag to put the rings in. I was out to sea on the cruise when I tried the rings again and had to force the on. After getting back to the states I started to notice that the ring was not sparkling like my ring. After about a week I really started looking at the ring and notice something about the ring that was not showing like my ring. The store kept my ring and replaced it with a ring that was not mine and no one at Diamond Internation is listening to me. They want to resize the ring and re dip it in white gold, this ring is really old I just want my ring back not this ring that is not mine!!!!! I'm trying to get them to get this out investigate this Store in Cozumel because they are doing the customers wrong. Has anyone else had a concern like this about Diamond International?

Bought a ring made up with 3 beautiful Crown of Light diamonds while on a cruise. Not a good idea. I was scared to get the ring appraised once back in Canada. But I did have it maintained a couple of times. Ended up losing one of the diamonds anyway. That’s a big problem. The diamond cannot be replaced here or in the USA where we spend most of our winters. Due to Covid, I wasn’t even able to mail it to them which is what they wanted me to do to find out how much a replacement diamond would be. And who is going to mail a ring anyway. So sketchy. Wish I would have thought the purchase out longer before buying. So that’s where I’m at. Who knows if I will ever get back to one of Diamond International stores. Do they buy back rings?
Perfect experience. Love my Pendant, tennis bracelet and ring I purchased about two weeks ago at the Nassau Store. Heard about the COL diamonds for a while Was in the market for an upgrade to the Big Girl League? LOL Anyway after an unpleasant experience on the Carnival Liberty's Effy Store, we thought we'd go to Diamonds International. What an experience. I know for a fact, we could not have found the prices, and selection at the corner store in the states. Not to mention taxes. The Effy store was extremely pushy. Never again. Paul, Gina and Jaco the personal shopper from Carnival, were exceptional. I'm not rich and wanted to purchase a good quality diamond, Folks need to know that COL cannot be compared to a round brilliant. No comparison. Thanks Diamond International!
ZERO STARS but had to put one in order to proceed with this review. This company is FRAUD. We purchased a diamond thinking we were getting this rare one-of-a-kind diamond. We p;purchased for $5,600 and went to find a band that matched to learn it didn't match many diamonds because it was a low 0 quality diamond and appears very yellow. The ring appraised for under $3,000. This is $2,600 more than what we paid for it. We went to multiple different appraisers and jewelers and the first thing I was told multiple times was "You bought this on a cruise ship". They informed me they have seen a lot of this going on and rings brought in with low value. Do not purchase from this company ever!
I lost a pendant that I had purchased from DI over 10 years ago that meant a lot to me. I contacted them to see if they could locate one for me even though it was discontinued. They were able to locate one and have it delivered with in a month at the price I initially paid for it! I am a Diamonds International client for life!
I has so much fun with Sathita! I had a store credit from many years ago and she helped me through the process to receive the gorgeous jewels that I now wear! I am looking forward to working with her again!
Several weeks ago I lost an amolite pendant which was part of a set I had purchased several years ago. I called DI and was put in touch with Sathita Frey. She was extremely helpful in finding a pendant which matched the set almost perfectly (the one I had isn't made any more). She kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and I had my new pendant in a few weeks. It was a pleasure working with Sathita, and I thank her very much for her all her assistance.
Six years ago I purchased a blue diamond dependent. I was so upset when I lost it. I found my receipt and contacted diamonds international. Sathita was absolutely wonderful! She was able to locate the same pendant and chain and honor the price that I originally paid. It was shipped to me at no charge and I received it within a few days. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the excellent customer service that I received.
We had a horrible experience. The salesman flat out lied to me this ring was used and it was not new as he had said it was a new design. It was seven years old. I took it to an appraiser when I got back to the states and of course it didn’t appraise for what I paid for it. Then she made a phone call to one of the diamond makers in New York and low and behold now out of the blue it does appraise. I would never buy anything from diamonds international ever again. Do not be taken advantage of by these liars!!! I’m very dissatisfied with my purchase and the lies perpetrated just to sell a ring. Do not spend your money here buy a ring from A national jeweler or a reputable jeweler where you have a warranty and not a company that doesn’t do business in the USA. They don’t sell in the USA for a reason.
We were in Roatan on a cruise, I wanted a forever diamond and sales person said I was getting a discount told me a price for that and a crown of light ring made into earrings. When I cam back for them my bill was several thousand over the original quoted. I was rushed to return back to ship and purchased. Feel like the discount the ship represantive said we would get was not given. Feel like I got cheated and overcharged. When I get these appraised if they are less than paid I will be demanding a refund .
This is not a good company to deal with.
I absolutely love my tennis bracelet. It’s petite, like me. I also bought a couple of sets of wonderful earrings. I recommend Crown of Light to anyone who wants a beautiful, sparkling addition to their jewelry.
We were looking for an anniversary present for me. They were so helpful and kind and not pushy the staff was lovely. Since we are home Sabitha was our go- to person. We were very lucky to have her.
Great product! Love the way the facet cuts make the light dance the way that no other diamond does! St Maarten and Aruba stores are the best! Satitha in the NY city office is awesome at setting up the experience at your ports of call while cruising. You cannot go wrong with the Crown of Light diamond!!!
My wonderful guy and I went on a cruise in June this year. We went to Costa Maya and he got me the most beautiful Crown of Light ring in DI. He proposed to me in the store and we all did Taquila shots! I love my ring and our wedding is 6/20/2020
We just experienced the CCC family in new York, such warm and friendly people. My husband and I were defiantly treated as VIP guest. We had a guided tour that answered all questions as to how, and what Crown of Lights was all about. What a delightful experience!!. As to the quality of my jewelry, I couldn't be happier!! I witnessed the time and love that is put in each selected diamond as they prepared to make a timeless piece of jewelry. My client relations manager Sathia Frey is the best!!!!
My hubby and I visited DI in BVI in January and had my current wedding ring done over with a Crown of Light. Amit the store manager assured us we would have this ring in time for my daughters February wedding and he lived up to the promise. We just visited DI in BVI again last week and got the COL Couture Bracelet which I love. On both visits the staff make us feel like family and we will shop here for years to come. I was a little worried at first but my ring appraised at what it should and we are about to get the bracelet appraised as well back here in the USA. We are honored to be part of the Crown Connoisseur Club, what a nice surprise. We are lifetime family of Crown of Light.
Disappointed to say the least! We purchased a ring, earrings, necklace and bracelet at the DI store in Belize. When we returned home I took them to an appraiser. I was shocked to learn that the bracelet was appraised at only about 70% of the purchase price. The remaining pieces were also appraised at less than purchase price although the ring appraised very close. I've been told never to buy jewelry in port cities and have always adhered to that advice until this trip. I won't be fooled again as I'll never go into their stores again.
My wife and I recently visited Aruba to celebrate the birthdays of our friends. We had previous experience with DI in many of the caribbean islands whether it was for diamonds or watches. On this trip I was interested in looking at their watch selection. I had sent a wish list to Lyndon in advance. Upon entering the store Lyndon(watch manager) was available and immediately began to show me the watches he had in store and the ones he could obtain from another location. Ultimately, I purchased 1 Breitling and 2 Hublot watches. Lyndon was fantastic and Rishi (store manager) assisted my wife in looking at some diamond options. The experience was wonderful and we would recommend DI for your jewelry desires.
