I am giving Crowdville 1 star because I…

I am giving Crowdville 1 star because I did a mission in January and I have still not been paid. I sent them over 10 emails and one of the staff finally put me through how to claim my money and she told me I would be paid on 20th April. Still no payment and on their site it is showing payment as waiting. I don't know what they are waiting for! Highly disappointed!

DO NOT USE!! Unless you want to spend months chasing and arguing to get your payment. They will blame you in every way possible to claim you haven't done something correctly to get payment. It's obvious the good reviews here are fake (they've been invited to review). I have used the company twice across 3 years and both times I have been met with the same excuses and same struggles. They don't even reply to emails. It's a big joke and it's obvious this company is a con. They delay as much as possible so people give up and then profit themselves. BEWARE.

***Notice they have replied to me below.. claiming to have paid me in November. This confirms they are complete liars. Wish I could add pictures here but this is a copy/paste from Paypal showing it was paid in JANUARY. Liars!!!!

Not worth the time

I was curious about it, so I subscribed and I did a couple of works assigned. Then I received a message that they would not pay me since the quality is low. I did my work carefully for several hours and actually noticed that many entries had typos and other misleading mistakes. My conclusion is that it is worth the time and should be avoided.

Few teething problems but good overall

Few teething problems with payments and the system is a bit complicated at first but overall it's generally a good website which you do get paid for. Like others have mentioned there are a few bugs on the website and the UK page can be kinda quiet and not as active as the Italian page and Admin can take forever to respond to you or sometimes they don't respond at all but i'm hoping there will be more missions and it will pick up. I've been paid a few times and have even won the £90 Amazon voucher so I'm happy!

I reported an issue with paying out users 8 months ago. Today they just closed the ticket, but the issue is not fixed. Don't bother registering, you won't get paid and you'll lose your time

Now they are asking me the same questions they asked me back then :D

Great!

Can be a tad hard to get in to but once you do it can be very rewarding and overall fun. They never expect you to do too many tasks and offer fair rewards. Prizes are fun and interesting and the support team seems pretty useful.

Best Community Ever!

Crowdville is the best community ever!

The community itself is great, they are friendly, kind and there opinions are amazing. The admin team communciate within the community and listen to the feedback they receive.

The missions are also great, and I have learnt and improved some skills that I will use in the future.

been dealing with crowdville via facebook for 6 plus months now not had 1 payments first it was i missed claiming then it was delays on their end then it was my payment was locked in and i would finally receive payment in march then i was told i had my name wrong so payment declined the iban number was 1 digit wrong which was my fault i changed that and was told i’d have no more problems go to accept april’s money and all money owed has expired so lost all the money earned fast forward to last week told they would be bank transfer of all lost earning i quote ‘payment is being processed as we speak ‘this was thursday afternoon i was told money would hit my bank early-mid next week due to bank holiday now we are 1pm wednesday still no money no one replying to my messages on facebook bank have stated it was sent via transferwise thurs afternoon it would have been there by now i don’t belvie i was ever see that money just hope others don’t fall for the misgivings they say and do missions coz it ain’t worth the ink the website is built on !!!!

We've been speaking on Facebook and been keeping you posted through every stage.

As you know, something got lost in translation and there was a mixup in communications internally ourselves. We were under the impression that we'd be able to send you a direct bank transfer of the entire £72 in one go.

We weren't able to, unfortunately, which we explained to you last week. It's incredibly frustrating because ultimately we don't want you waiting any longer than necessary to receive your earnings.

£57 worth of your earnings had expired (they expire 6 months after the initial request). We were able to amend this particular amount of earnings to remove the 'expiration', and now that your bank details are all correct, you'll just need to confirm your payment method (TransferWise) and accept the invoice for this. You'll then be receiving this in our May payments.

Again, this is extremely frustrating and we're sorry for the huge delay on that one.

£15 had been requested, and you followed all the steps correctly after the initial mishap, and that is on it's way to you as part of our April batch of payments. As you know, we send out payments once a month, and despite our best efforts to get a separate, individual transfer to you quickly, this was the soonest possible time that we could get it to you. So you can expect to receive that this week.

The majority of our crowders do receive their money on time and now that your bank details are saved correctly in our system, any future earnings won't be delayed by 6+ months or at all. I'll echo what we said in your previous review that our payment process is complicated. It's outdated too, and it's something we'll be upgrading later this year, but for the meantime we can only apologise that you've not received anything yet.

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how you feel - we're determined to make sure you ultimately have a really good experience on our site, and you will 100% be receiving your £72 from us.

We know we've been in touch regularly throughout the process, but we do appreciate you taking the time to write on here too. Every single piece of feedback on here good and bad is passed on to everyone in the company, so I'll say it again - everyone at Crowdville realises just how serious this payment delay is and it's unacceptable that you've been waiting for so long.

If you ask any crowder who's completed missions before Christmas, they'll say that they've been paid, and we can't wait for you to receive your money in your account. We do pay out, we're certainly not a scam, and we are 100% paying you.

That doesn't take away the huge frustration of not paying you on time though, and we're working very hard to implement a new system that will stop this from happening again. This is vital. Without our crowders there is no Crowdville, so it's absolutely essential we get this right straight away.

I did a mission but am still waiting for payment despite the payment window of the 10th to the 15th. Emailed support but no reply and no payment.

I do think it is a great concept and happy to change my rating if I can get this resolved.

First off, we're really sorry that you've not been paid for completing your mission yet.

You're absolutely right in mentioning that we've passed the payment window (10th-15th of each given month) which is stated in our Payment blog post on the site. It's really frustrating for us that we weren't able to send you your payment out on time, but this must pale into comparison to how frustrated you're feeling right now.

We're aware of the payment issues and we're doing everything we can on our side to make up for this and ensure we pay you ASAP.

We'll have an update for you as soon as we have the word from the Finance team, but we're hopeful of sending you your earnings as soon as we can.

And just as a heads up, as much as we'd love to get back to you as soon as we can, we unfortunately don't have any weekend support at this moment in time - so we're very sorry we weren't able to respond to your email on Saturday or Sunday.

We're absolutely aware of the issues currently on the site and we're addressing them as a matter of urgency.

Il problema raccontato di seguito è stato finalmente risolto e come promesso, metto le 5 stelle al sito. Le merita anche se deve ancora ingranare su qualche passaggio ma credo che col tempo diventerà sempre più grandioso!

Sto aspettando ancora il primo pagamento richiesto nel 2016!! Sono ben £111 !! C'è stato un problema con la carta la prima volta (gli è tornato indietro il pagamento e il responsabile lo ha dichiarato anche nelle mail), ho cambiato metodo di pagamento (paypal) e non mi hanno mai inviato il pagamento! Ho mandato tantissime mail, fanno controlli, dichiarano che effettivamente c'è il pagamento tornato indietro ma non mi inviano il pagamento! Perchè? Non lo so! E nei £111 sono compresi anche soldi che ho SPESO per pagare gli abbonamenti a timvision per vari mesi e noleggiare i vari film che chiedevano di vedere nelle varie campagne e altri abbonamenti per le varie campagne !!

The problem described below was finally solved and as promised, I put the 5 stars to the site. He deserves it even if he still has to move on some steps but I think that over time it will become more and more magnificent!

I'm still waiting for the first payment requested in 2016 !! They are well £ 111 !! There was a problem with the card the first time (he returned the payment and the manager has also stated in the mail), I changed the payment method (paypal) and have never sent me the payment! I sent many emails, do checks, declare that there is actually the payment back but do not send me the payment! Because? I do not know! And the £ 111 also includes money that I have spent to pay for timvision subscriptions for several months and rent the various films that asked to see in the various campaigns and other season tickets for the various campaigns !!
