Our family had an amazing two day driving and walking tour of the Highlands with Ray Michael. We learned an incredible amount about Scotland’s history, and Ray kept our two teenage sons engaged throughout the tour by combining Scottish history with music and detailed story-telling.

We had the absolute pleasure of taking an extended private tour of Scotland with Ray from Crosby and Bruce, who was assigned to us by Rabbie’s—and we couldn’t have been happier. From the pristine Range Rover that made every drive comfortable, to Ray’s incredible depth of knowledge about Scotland’s history, every moment exceeded our expectations. What really set the experience apart was his ability to tailor the journey to our tastes—finding the most charming, tucked-away spots that felt like they were meant just for us. This was truly a 10/10 experience, and Ray was the reason it was unforgettable!

We had the opportunity to take a private tour through Edinburgh and the highlands over four days with Ray. From the moment he picked us up in Edinburgh we found him to be incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Ray is a true professional and delivers white glove service to his guests. While he does a great job with building out an itinerary for his guests, he has a unique ability to adjust plans on the go based on how much you’re enjoying a certain stop or not and of course the unpredictable weather. You never feel rushed and are able to go at your own pace and Ray goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable throughout. Few tour guides deliver as professional service as Ray and can make you feel right at home.

2 years ago we went on a very nice tour with Ray. He showed us some beautiful places in Scotland. He was also our favorite guide. He brought a lot of fun to the tour. Now and then he played Scottish music. That was great. Don't miss it when you're there. Always happy to go :)

Lat summer, we had a lovely 11 day Scotland Vacation which was capped off with an 8 day guided tour in the Highlands with Ray (owner of Crosby and Bruce). I can not say enough wonderful things. I would recommend his services to anyone considering a trip to Scotland whether they be singles, couples, families, or groups. Every detail, every surprise stop, every recommendation was perfection. We were guided safely around the highlands in the most comfortable of accommodations where he would have a fresh bottle of water waiting for us daily. I do not think his eye for detail and planning could be matched elsewhere. We were hanging on his every word during his passionate delivery of historical details and storytelling. This was NOT your boring bus tour with stock presentation. He is so very knowledgeable and passionate. As he said in his email to me “Don’t worry. I want to show you the very best my amazing country has to offer”. And that he did!! Every day. Every detail. Every experience. Thank you Ray for showing us beautiful Scotland in such a magnificent way. Team Texas will be back!
