I purchased an extended warranty ONLY…

I purchased an extended warranty ONLY through this dealership 5/2025, from financial manager krystie. Fast forward 5/2026. I cancelled my policy on 5/6/26 with krystie because I sold my Maserati on 5/4/26. I provided her with documentation on 5/4/26 with no claims. She told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to receive my warranty refund. I never received my refund so I reached back out to her the week of 6/24/26 (week 7) to get a status. She stated she would get back to me and see if the dealership would cut the check until maserati warranty company send over the funds. I haven't heard back from her since 6/24/26. After 6/24/26 she has ignored my voice calls, voice mails, emails and text messages. I reached out to the general manager harry by leaving an email on 7/2/26, and voicemail on 7/21/26. He never responded back. I also reached out to the maserati extended warranty company on 7/6/26. A case was opened by premium care specialist teresa. She drags me along from 7/6/26-8/11/26. She told me by phone on 8/11/26, that the warranty wasn't canceled until 7/1/26 by the dealership. Why did she wait until 8/11/26 to reveal this key information to me? She also stated on the phone call of 8/11/26 that the warranty department that handles the finances is shut down for the whole month of August because they were out of the country. What business shuts down a whole dept for a month? That was an outrageous lie. Then she goes on to tell me, in the same conversation, that I probably won't get my refund until October or November of 2026. The email she sent me on 8/11/26 didn't include the whole conversation. I blame the dealership for dropping the ball on my refund and ignoring me. I blame maserati warranty company for stringing me along another five weeks and lying to me that the funds were submitted to the dealership on 7/24/26. I shouldn't have to wait 5 or 6 months to receive my warranty refund. I would also like to add that teresa told me that I couldn't talk to anyone directly from their finance department and that my ticket would be escalated. Why can't you speak to the finance department of the warranty company??? I would advise anyone not to get an extended warranty through Criswell Maserati in Germantown, Maryland. Both the dealership and the warranty company are deceitful. I will be filing my complaint. 0 STARS.
