Dispatched After Cancellation Request

I placed an order and initially wondered why the prices were so low. After ordering, I checked the reviews and was concerned by the number of negative experiences reported for this company.
I reviewed their cancellation policy, which states that orders can be cancelled within 24 hours. I attempted to cancel immediately. I tried calling the phone number listed on their website (+44 7538 794338) multiple times, but it does not work. So i decided to email to cancel.
I then received an email asking why I wanted a refund. I replied promptly, explaining that I no longer wished to proceed after reading the reviews. Despite this, around five hours later, I received a dispatch notification confirming the item had been shipped.
I immediately contacted American Express and Citizens Advice. Citizens Advice have confirmed that this matter will be passed to Trading Standards. I have also been advised that I need to write formally to the trader’s registered address quoting the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
For clarity, I have informed the company in writing that I do not accept responsibility for any return costs, as the cancellation was requested before dispatch and within their stated policy.
I will update this review once the matter is resolved and if a refund is issued.
Please be warned that the owner Harry Omar runs multiple companies with a ghost address. He also runs another sunglasses website called framesluxx

Scam company

Logo on my Celine sunglasses is peeling off. I’ve contact the company and no response, the phone number on the website is an incorrect number and you can’t get through. Website claims to have a team of experts sourcing high quality products but according to companies house there is only 1 employee. Scam company and counterfeit products!

They are a scam!!!!

I’ve ordered a pair of Tom Ford glasses from COF in April 2025. The lenses were scratched so I sent them back and requested a refund. It took a while for someone to get in touch because they were not answering the calls or emails. It is now 2026 and I have not received my refund. They keep saying they will escalate this to their finance team. They are a scam so I would not recommend to anyone. Shameful behaviour.

DO NOT BUY!

If I could, CRIB OF FRAMES would get ZERO STAR. Awful customer service. Once you buy it, you CANNOT RETURN IT, unless you're willing to pay an arm and a leg for return shipping. Crib of Frames will not pay for return shipping. AWFUL! TERRIBLE! Crib of Frames will keep responding to you as if they care, BUT they will not pay for return shipping no matter who's at fault.

Fake pair and refund took three months to process

I bought a pair of sunglasses a few months ago and they were definitely not authentic and look like they had been worn. The bridge of the frames looked worn out and the sunglasses case was made out of poor material. When I reached out they offered me a 15% refund. I declined and returned them. I also requested a refund for my postage fees as the product was faulty as per their terms and conditions. This took three months to receive. Customer services were responsive (seems like one person deals with all enquiries) but I had to keep constantly chasing which was appalling. Don’t purchase unless you want discounted unauthentic sunglasses which weren’t even of the quality you expect.

Damaged glasses and deleted review

Received the very expensive glasses and they were damaged (scratch on the lens and also loose arms). I contacted them and left a review. I am now to pay for tracked mail for them to replace for them out of my pocket and they have deleted my review from their website. Customer service take 24 hours to respond to each email. Would not recommend buying from them, will cost you more in time and money to sort out their issue.

100% FAKE - DO NOT BUY!!

I never usually post negative reviews however, I feel I have to for this company. I purchased a pair of Miu Miu sunglasses after being assured by Sandra that all glasses are obtained from authorised retailers and are guaranteed to be genuine. They are without a doubt fake!! It was clear as soon as I opened the package that they are completely different from the authentic pair I have seen and tried on in Selfridges. DO NOT purchase from Crib of Frames unless you are happy to pay a bit less and receive fake glasses. I did eventually get a full refund after around 5 weeks of them receiving the glasses back and after constantly being told that they are ‘working on my refund’ I contacted the company on Facebook rather than email and the refund was eventually issued. Please do not be fooled by their lies they are 100% all fake Sunglasses.

This is a scam company

This is a scam company - beware. Returned my glasses to be fixed under warranty. They never sent me back my glasses and provided false tracking numbers and just vague responses that almost seem generated from a bot. Phone always goes to voicemail. I notified them I have filed a claim with the courts but this still didn't generate any response. AVOID. Hopefully they get shut down.

scam beware!!

scam beware!! some people think their fake glasses are real!! i sent back the glasses but no refund was given...

I ordered a pair of glasses from Crib of Frames, and not only were they fake, but when I returned them, the company confirmed receipt and promised a refund — which I still haven’t received, even three weeks later.

I’ve followed up multiple times and have been completely ignored. This feels like a scam: they’re selling counterfeit items and then ghosting customers who return them.

I’ve filed a charge back with my bank and reported them to Trading Standards for fraudulent business practices.

Be extremely cautious. I would strongly advise against buying from this company, I'm currently £160 out of pocket.

If only I’d read the reviews before…

If only I’d read the reviews before purchasing. Ordered a pair of Celine sunglasses. They sent the wrong colour. I asked to return and they asked for a picture, which I sent, they then sent a form for me to print and advised I used a trackable return service. I’m awaiting a further reply as I said surely you’ll provide a return label given you sent me the wrong product. I also have asked for a refund having read these reviews as suspect they’re fake! Paid via PayPal so seeking a refund that way. Avoid.
