Extremely Disappointed with Service – Probate Delays and Lack of Communication
I rarely write reviews, but I feel it is important to share my personal experience so that others are fully informed when choosing representation for probate and estate matters.
My case, handled by Siobhan Cribbins , has been one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences I’ve ever encountered. Over the course of more than a year, I struggled repeatedly with a lack of communication and unacceptable delays. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered for long periods, sometimes weeks at a time, leaving me completely in the dark about the progress of my case.
After waiting over 12 months without any meaningful resolution or grant of probate, I eventually had no choice but to escalate my concerns to the Legal Ombudsman. Due to the ongoing delays, I ultimately moved my case to a different solicitor, where things are finally progressing.
This entire process has caused enormous stress and disruption to my life, and I would strongly encourage anyone seeking probate services to ensure they choose a solicitor who demonstrates clear, consistent, and timely communication. I sincerely hope that improvements are made so no one else has to experience the same difficulties I faced.

We have tried multiple times over the past several months to get in contact with Siobhan regarding the probate of my dad’s estate. Every time it’s a “sorry she’s not in the office”, “we will get her to give you a ring straight away”, “she’s at another site”, “she’s on holiday”, “she’s off sick” or “she’s on anther call” countless excuses while the bills and stress keep piling up. I don’t understand how hard it is to pick up the phone and have a conversation for a few minutes or better yet if you’re as unavailable as you’re making it out to be send an email?

The free will service was great but this is what you have to deal with when it comes to the time. We definitely would not recommend Cribbin & Co to anyone.
