If I could leave zero stars I would. My boyfriend was able to add me on as a pre authorized user with just my name and address and that goes onto my credit report but I was not allowed to take myself off without having all of his information including his social security number. So just any random stranger can add me on and affect my credit score but I don’t have the authorization to take myself off??? NOT OKAY.
Chase refuses to do a refund when their customer service said that they would.
I called chase customer service to verify that if I charged the Global Entry fee to my Chase United Business card that I would be refunded the charge amount. I was told I would be refunded so I charged the fee. Now Chase says that refund is not a benefit of that card and they will not refund the charge, even though their customer service rep told me it would be.
Chase Bank creates customer issues then won’t resolve them
Chase Bank is going out of their way to frustrate customers. I have the Sapphire Reserve card and made a large purchase while traveling. The next few times I tried to use the card (same afternoon) it was declined. Chase customer service said the card was not on hold and transferred call to Fraud Dept which was closed. The recording said it would be open tomorrow 7am. Now it is tomorrow and same recorded message! They shut down my card while I am traveling without reaching out to ask me about this transaction or notifying me thru their app. They just skipped out to enjoy their weekend leaving me with no options. Employees are nice but they are stuck in a system with a company that doesn’t trust their employees or help their customers.
I have had this credit card for about 9…
I have had this credit card for about 9 years. Customer service is terrible. It’s an easy hour wait if you want to talk to a person.
Chase does not protect you from Fraud!
My business had an employee’s email hacked earlier this year. The hacker copied and sent our bookkeeper an invoice exactly matching an invoice that we owed to a vendor. The hacker included a link allowing the bookkeeper to pay by credit card. She paid the bill, thinking she was paying the vendor, but the funds we taken by the hacker and our invoice was left unpaid. My bookkeeper actually broke up the payments onto 3 different credit cards, one from Chase, one from Capital One and one from Amex. The same day that the transaction were processed she realized that the money did not go to the intended recipient, so she reported it to all 3 banks. Amex and Capital One ultimately backed up their claim that they protect consumers from fraud and hacking, but Chase was the lone holdout that refused to support us. They claimed that our employee gave the information to the hacker, so there was no fraud. I appealed several times, but chase only gives you 2 attempts to fight this and then their judgment is final. If you inadvertently give your information to someone you trust, but it turns out to be a hacker, Chase will not support you. They want to keep your money as much as the hacker does!
Good Credit card, Poor "Insurance Benefits" administration
I have used Chase Credit cards for 15 years, and about 4 years with the Sapphire card. Simply put, do not put much "value" in the Benefits the card has, specifically the Trip Interruption reimbursement portion. Using this benefit for the first time after having unexpected surgeries and being released from the hospital the day before I was supposed to check-in a hotel for the night in a different state. Even after spending hours gathering the required mountain of documents and forms complete including providing hospital details, they still want me to get a "doctors letter" as well as "proof that I did not sleep at the hotel". All this for a $130 room. Why would I ask my surgeon to stop helping people to write such a letter for so little money. If you ever think you will need this benefit try filling out the forms ahead of time so you are prepared BEFORE it even happens, as getting it after the fact, can be difficult. Hmm, maybe they want to make it challenging to file a successful claim!?
This is not ok
Hey, everybody. I want to express to everyone that Amazon is not always bad. As far as deliveries, they are always right on point. What I want to share with you now..goes beyond delivery. Its about customer service and fraud. I've now been a victim of fraud several times now with having this Credit Card through amazon chase. Customer service with this company is non existent. When you are able to luckily talk to a human being, they talk to you as if you are the villain. They truly dont want to talk with you. This is why it is so hard to reach anyone in customer service. Why is this ok? You are the victim. You want to shout out to them that you have been victimized. However, they dont care about you at all. They don't return phone calls as in cue and they talk to you like a child. I'm over it.
Terrible customer service/ don’t care about you as a paying customer
This is feedback on the experience I have had as a premium credit card holder. I have called multiple times over the past 3 months to resolve a simple hotel credit which is supposed to be a perk of having the card. It is a significant portion of the cost of the annual fee and probably the biggest reward this card offers. On my app in my account, it was displayed that I could use the credit through a specific date; it was then applied to the following year's credit when the charge posted on that final day, and my first-year credit went unused. Despite the dates displayed to me being incorrect compared to when the credit could actually be applied, the company has done nothing to help fix this issue. It has honestly been a terrible experience as a cardholder and will make me reconsider my card use with this issuer. Terrible customer service, no resolution for an issue that could easily be resolved. Spoke with at least 10 people all with conflicting answers and information as to how annual credits work. Even the two written documents that I was sent after the issue was escalated provided conflicting answers. I requested any sort of compensation towards the end of my discussion regarding this issue and nothing was even considered, no points, no statement credit, nothing. This is inexcusable as someone who works in financial tech and understands the ins and outs of a credit card company. A display issue should not affect a member's experience; I asked support members to look at my activity to verify my claims and have this issue resolved, and they suggested the software does not exist when we all know it does. Overall terrible experience with no resolution.
Poor customer service
We had a large family vacation coming up and attempted to prepay some of the expenses over several months. Without notifying us, Chase put a hold on our card and left 15K of our money in limbo. This despite the fact we had the Sapphire Reserve card for years without ever having a late payment. Every customer support rep refers to themselves as a “supervisor” and refuses to escalate your issue saying we have to wait for a higher up to call back. No one ever calls back. It is just a stonewalling technique.
Becarfull with these crooks
Becarfull with these crooks. I pay my balance on time, but it doesn't matter they still want to charged me interest when I pay it in full before the cycle closed.
Poor Customer Service - Predatory Attempt to Sell 3rd Party Product to the Elderly
I attempted to book a flight with my Chase Freedom card and the transaction was declined. My need to book the flight at a favorable fare was time sensitive. When I call their customer service number, I was solicited for a free medical device for the elderly and connected to a voice response unit. In order to exit from this I had to hang up and call again. On my second call I was able to verify charges through a voice response unit and my account had the freeze removed. Given that people make customer service calls when they are experiencing issues with their accounts. The attempt to sell a product before resolving the customer's issue is frustrating and exceptionally poor customer service. It is particularly predatory to try to sell the the elderly who are already likely confused by the complicated AI/Voice Response customer service system.
DoorDash benefits are becoming unusable…
DoorDash benefits are becoming unusable with their multiple bogus fees and service policies. They have now changed their pickup order minimums to $20. Non-alcoholic beverages and juices are treated as alcoholic and so the benefit does not apply to them fully! You should really take it up with them as we are pretty going to have to forget about this useless benefit!
Problem with Chase Credit Fraud Unit
Very very disappointed with chase credit fraud procedures. On april 20 2026 i placed a small amount order (under $150) with a highly reputable vendor -Amazon. My credit account at that time had no outstanding balance and i had a credit limit that was much higher than the charges made.
Chase denied this payment. I still cant understand why. When i spoke with them the rep claimed it looked suspicious. Lol. Good customer with solid credit, never missed a payment, a highly legitimate purchase vendor and the product mailing address was a more than 3 yrs home address. Unfathomable to me why the bank didnt contact me before denying. Not the type of financial institution i want to have a relationship with.
LESSON LEARNED… NO THANKS TO CHASE
I’ve bee with Chase for 9 years. I have a business account, a personal account and a credit card with Chase. About two years ago they dropped credit $1,100.00 . I’m a good standings with all my accounts. I have a mid 700 credit score. All my payments are made on time. I keep a low DTI none of that makes sense.
Let’s move all that over. I made a stupid mistake by opting in on three charges literally which equals less than $300. Come to find out you cannot opt out, even trying to pay off those charges unless you pay off your entire balance. Nowhere do they give that information . I Spoke to a representative, then his supervisor they will not do anything. So I have to pay off my entire balance. So I did. What about people? They don’t have that money? Chase is not good. They’re scum.
That’s what I get on trying something I didn’t need to do. LESSON LEARNED.
The service from Chase Bank is appalling
The service from this company is truly appalling. There were some fraudulent transactions on my Amazon Prime credit card issued by Chase Bank. The card was replaced and the letter with the card stated "Your card has been set as your default payment method a Amazon.com....".
It did not happen and I asked several times for an explanation. I have had 3 separate replies and not only did I not get an explanation, but there was no reference of any kind to my question.
Deceptive and misleading practices, Buyer Beware
Using my Chase Prime Visa, I purchased a 3K item and chose the Amazon option for 12 monthly payments at 0% interest. This option foregoes the 5% points from the purchase.
However, today when I looked at my statement online, Chase said my purchase was eligible for extended pay, and for that option they wanted to charge me monthly fee of $39.77 to get no interest on this purchase for 12 months.
I will pay the purchase off this month, but Buyer Beware, Chase is using misleading and deceptive practices with their No interest option through Amazon.
After having this reserve card since…
After having this reserve card since Dec of 2025. I think a review of it is overdue.
It’s expensive but you get money back on things so it’s not for everyone. I ran into trouble with one of their cashback offers on Jan 16 I saw an offer for zenni optical I just got a pair of glasses from my eye dr so when I saw the deal I thought great I can get a back up pair. So that Fri I click on the cash back offer and it took me to the zenni site I ordered and like before it was seamless. They were delivered in a week now I waited for my cash back. Didn’t come. So I called Chase. They told me everything was good and it was on track just be patience. Weeks go by. Chase blames zenni at first so I put a bad review on trustpilot. Zenni reached out told me that Chase is the one that takes care of this. So I escalate to have a resolution with Chase 2 months later they say well you order Fri the offer was starting that sat. I ask why would they put the offer up if it wasn’t good , they even accused me of ordering them than seeing the offer the next day. Wrong I had no intention until I saw the offer and clicked on it. This is to me a bait and switch
I do not recommend this card and will not renew with Chase or with any of their other credit cards. Seriously don’t recommend their credit cards
Chase reserve credit card does not…
Chase reserve credit card does not payout the benefits after spending $795 in USA. In spite of booking restaurant reservation via open table exclusive they still have not credited the $150 bi annual credit as per benefits. In another incident booking travel to benefit $250 credit either IHG and Minor hotels, I found myself during checkin the travel department credit card did work even this was prepaid by me. This ended up I paying again. I am in process of cancelling my Chase sapphire reserve card and would not recommend at all as one would not get any of the credit card benefits as stated.
Every time to log in I must call customer service and it takes 15 minutes for them to answer the phone
I have a United Club card. I cannot log into my account. The website takes me through several hoops and Cycles back around to never let me in. The only way I can look at my account is by calling the customer service number. It takes 15 minutes to go through all the options to finally speak to someone to log in. Then, they finally issue me a code number to log in. The initial login process provides a code and never accepts that code.
