I absolutely love the new animated characters and what you candy with them. I made a complex animation and lots of characters and when I tried to render it I ran into problems. Opened a ticket and these guys turned around on a time, rendered the video and pointed me to potential solutions. In the end, I have been thinking of changing my 11 years old Mac for a while, not surprised it needs help. Very happy with the software

Never in my life have I seen an organization more on the make to pound BRAND NEW clients for more more more money. Their up-selling is shameless and, in my humble opinion, disrespectful to the dignity of others. When you sign up for their "$67 for lifetime access" you are placed into an ENDLESS email sequence filled with pressure tactics as awful as they get. "Just a few more hours to take advantage, before this opportunity vanishes!" Their desperation to bilk you for all your worth has made me lose respect for this organization and the leadership. I sent feedback and the person responded that I'd be removed from future promotions. But the next day, guess what? More high pressure selling emails come in. Yes, they will message you EVERY day with more up selling. One gets the sense that this company is run by Gen Z'ers who are tone deaf to how a customer wants to be treated.

The app is NOT user friendly. For example, editing an existing template is as painfully slow and not intuitive at all as you can imagine. There is zero flexibility in adding or replacing or removing things QUICKLY. It is NOT an intuitive system. I thankfully have only subscribed for one month and quickly moving away as this just does not make sense to try to figure out things when they should be a click away. Goodbye CreateStudio and please do not reply to my note I am absolutely not interested what you have to say. You cannot put a product together that works.

I have had CreateStudio for several months now, its the main tool I use for editing my youtube videos, but also I use it to create ads, and a ton of other stuff, for it being a one time expense, its totally worth it and would highly recommend for beginners as well as advanced users in need of video editing or creation. Plus it has many updates very often with new material and a thriving community that is constantly sharing tips and tricks on fb

Their sales techniques are shady, bordering a scam.

I bought a 'platinum lifetime offer' which seemed fantastic at the time.

It has become apparent however that the vast majority of templates and assets are hidden behind a monthly subscription paywall, a perpetual money-grab 'upgrade now' scenario (with a very large amount of marketing emails, constantly).

Yes, you are offered a 60 day trial of the 'full' suite upon initial purchase. I would wager that the vast majority of people would take them up on this, as I did.

It is however incredibly unclear what extras you are gaining during the trial.

Is it very apparent, after the trial is over, that the platinum package is quite restricted, despite their sales pages painting it as a fantastic offer.

After several messages to support asking for a list of differences, I was told they do not have a list.

Shady.

Can you make an animated video with the platinum package?

Yes, but heavily restricted.

Would I suggest this software to other marketers?

No.

Real examples of a lifetime offer is the Affinity suite of software vs Adobe.

This is nothing like that.

They are super responsive and helpful. This product can help a lot of people and they have great training available. Highly recommend!

On March 17, 2024, I took their offer of a 60-day All Access Trail. I made a note with my Alexa device to review the trial and maybe set up payment 2 days before the 60 days ended, which would have been May 17, 2024. Today is May 4, 2024 and I no longer have access to items available to All Access Plan members. I paid $67 for their lifetime payment special. I was thinking of paying the $47/month. But now, I wonder about the worthiness. If they rip me off 11 days on a trial, where else will they rip me off at later? If you're thinking about making any purchases, get screenshots as you will not receive any invoices. (Invoices are needed later to make any financial decisions concerning your purchases.)

I'm very impressed with CreateStudio. They don't just sell a product and abandon those who have bought it. They keep updating and improving without charging to upgrade! That's so rare. To me, this instills confidence in the software and creator. And I'm also impressed with their customer care. They always respond quickly to my questions. I highly recommend CreateStudio.

I was absolutely lied to about being about to add and use my own animal characters. You can't use your own characters, So your videos will look exactly like everyone else. Avoid the 'all-access' pass at all costs! Their customer service is abysmal, pricing deceptive, and updates fail to install. Cancelling recurring charges is a nightmare with their non-responsive team. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this company.

I apologize for the confusion.

In your previous tickets, you were advised that you can import your own characters but only in video format and with transparency.
It means you have to have to have the character already built and animated before bringing it to CreateStudio.
Having a transparent background for your character will allow it to blend well with the rest of the elements in CreateStudio.

If you only have a static image or a drawing, or even a puppet file, it's not possible to add custom movement to them in CreateStudio as it is not a rigging app.

I am not satisfier for that service

HORRIBLE customer service, deceptive pricing, updates don't install - DO NOT buy the 'all-access' pass - doesn't install AND the only way to stop recurring charges is to go through them and they are NON-RESPONSIVE. Steer clear of these people - it is NOT worth the hassle.
