I have been a customer for over a year and the sea moss has been good most of the times. But lately, the sea moss came in wetter than other times.
I discovered this after the sea moss started to stink. I decided to dry the sea moss with a professional kitchen dehydrator. Of the 2470 grams (87 ounces) of sea moss, only 2130 grams (75 ounces) remained.
This means that there was 340 ml (12 ounces) of water in the sea moss (which is 14% water weight).
Naturally, the sea moss starts to smell bad and goes bad when it is not dried properly. Craig dries the sea moss in the sun and probably did not let it dry long enough.
After I raised this issue with Craig (the owner of this webshop), I was told that the wet sea moss was my own problem and that I should just look for another supplier. He also called me a liar.
Is this really how you treat your loyal customers???
