Highly recommend! It was a wonderful and personalised experience for Mum and I. Steve and Angie were so friendly, helpful and also keen for us to get stuck into making our bauble special to us. We could choose our colours, roll the glass into the chippings and blow it into shape. 20 minites didn't sound like a lot of time, but that is all you need! Too hot for us to be there any longer and we created a beautiful piece. Plus such good value for what we did. There's also a lovely farm shop and cafe in the courtyard. It turned out to be a nice few hours spent with Mum.

Chair reupholstery - Lucy is an incredible instructor who makes you feel comfortable from the minute you set foot in the craft room. She is extremely knowledgeable on all antique and modern furniture, and will not only show you how to restore them to their former glory, but also explain the process so you understand how to do it in the future independently. I thoroughly enjoyed this day course restoring a chair, I would highly recommend her to everyone.

My mother and I attended a craft course hosted by Felt World's Barbara Meek in Penkridge on 15/02/2026.
We had never been to Penkridge before so it was lovely to go somewhere new. We had a delicious lunch at a local pub of freshly cooked Black Pudding Scotch eggs, which was again a new experience for me.

The course itself was very intimate as there was only four of us attending so it meant that we got that much needed 1:1 support. We were amazed that in two hours I managed to needle felt a beautiful little Owl and my mum made a hedgehog. I have dyspraxia which means I struggle with fine motor movements so I never thought I would make a full creature at all.
Barbara had an excellent skill set and was able to support us to make our little friends despite our limitations.
The experience was for my mum's birthday present so that she could learn because someone brought her a set for a gift. She was so pleased with her hedgehog she was smiling all the way home which was lovely to see.
The only thing that I would improve to give the course a five star rating would be that the Craft Course website itself was not very clear and I did not realise the price was per person rather than for two people which meant I needed to pay again after the event. Barbara's knowledge and skills were definitely worth the money we paid but I would have appreciated clearer instructions in advance of the day to help things run smoothly.

It was easy to book the course, information and details were clear. On arrival at the course Conan the instructor was very helpful and clear on explaining the agenda for the course. I am a novice welder but found the course was very good.

Jade gave us a really informative demonstration and we were soon able to give it a go ourselves. I came away with a whole array of beads and knowledge of how to do it. Jade was very knowledgeable and very generous with the products.

A really good introduction to MIG welding. Conan is a very knowledgeable and helpful tutor. Started welding within minutes and ended up with a great deal of confidence.

Will, the teacher, knew his stuff, it was slick, smooth, well set out and very polished.
He taught it well and made it fairly easy to leave with an ok result .
As in if you've never done it before and aren't overly skilled at this stuff (me ...) I still ended up with something ok!

Amazing day in an incredible setting! Sarah is an excellent, patient, generous teacher. I made a ring and then some quite complex earrings for a beginner. Sarah was so happy to go with the design which meant I got to try many techniques and tools. I'm planning to go back to learn more - thank you Sarah!

Well, what can I say. Fantastic. Informative. Inspiring.
Roger provided an opportunity to send over ideas beforehand indicating what we would like to cover. We took FULL advantage of this, particularly how we could possibly incorporate our fused glass work with soldering and brazing. Not only did Roger cover how this could reasonably be achieved in the time available, our starting skill level and the technicalities involved but he also introduced mig and stick welding for various technical aspects of our designs.
A really enjoyable, fun day with a lot of laughs as we got to grips with technology and concepts. Roger surpassed my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone wanting to learn the intial skills in welding, brazing, and soldering for metal-joining processes in different scenarios. It's then a matter of practice, practice practice and Roger provides the enthusiasm to do that.

Bought for my husband and son. They had an absolutely fabulous day and the aces they produced were really good.
They haven’t stopped raving about the experience and are looking to go back for another go.

Excellent afternoon - engaging, fun and creative. Rebecca was a great instructor - as an art teacher she has both the skills and knowledge about art and teaching. We all came away with a framed picture that I look forward to hanging up.

Such a wonderful course, all equipment and facilities, we’re very professional and Steve and Angie were the perfect teachers.

Their knowledge, commitment and passion to provide a safe an interesting experience was 2nd to none.
Steve was very professional, and patient with everyone on the course making it very enjoyable and educational.

Plenty of time was given to each section of the course and even allowed for participants mistakes to be rectified and everybody able to complete and take home, when they are ready ( or posted out) the items we were making.

My husband was able to watch the entire process and take photographs, throughout, capturing the action and providing some happy memories of the day for me .

All in all, a great course from a master craftsman and good value for money .

Did a half day enamelling workshop with Katie. She is a great instructor and explains things in easy to follow steps

Made some lovely items and would certainly attend a whole day to make some more intricate items

Svetlana is a patient tutor. She talked me though each step, explaining the processes. She advised on colour matches and how things would turn out in the finished lampshade. Having never tried wet felting before, I was skeptical on how my lampshade would look when finished. Svetlana kept my confidence high and encouraged me throughout… the finished lampshade was lovely and I was more than happy with it. It now has the pride of place in my sitting room and guests have commented on how lovely it is. I am more than happy with this course and would highly recommend Svetlana and her other courses. I myself, am looking to do more courses already.

Fab day, clear direction on how to create a foil stained glass piece. Was given option to create our own piece or follow a pattern. Great support from Caryl. Small group. Would definitely do it again ☺️
