Cracker Barrel NO MORE…
So now that Cracker Barrel has decided to cut their own throat with the now recent updated logo, stripping of Americana Wall Art, and what has become substandard food, I safely state, BYE. Don't pretend it's not about woke, when it IS. You've just alienated one of the most loyal customer base in numbers you can't imagine, until you soon feel it. Was a slice, but I'm OUT. Other restaurants I plan to eat at in the future. From someone who doesn't go back on their morals and values.
Casa Grande Location.
Casa Grande Location.
My wife and I have been to Cracker Barrels from Maine to Arizona. It is THE restaurant that we look for when traveling. We love the food, breakfast mostly.
The service, food, and store experience was the BEST we have ever had.
We ordered our meal, it came in a timely manner and was hot. The waitress (Steph) was always asking if we needed anything, when she walked by out table.
It was a first for us, but the Manager was walking around the restaurant asking how everything was.
In most stores we go in, (at Cracker Barrel my wife NEEDS to shop) we never had to look for help. the floor staff was right there asking if you needed anything. They kept an eye on the floor and if you looked like you might have a question, they came to you. You did not have to look for them. The Store manager (Maria) again was walking around the store to assist shoppers or answer any questions about product availability. It was pleasing to go to a store and not have to wait to find out if the product you want is in stock or the display was the last one. Maria KNEW the answer.
Given time, if I could go to the Casa Grande location over the other Phienox area locations I would.

Have had terrible service and menu items that are not actually available.
Had this experience twice now at two different cracker barrel's in two different states.
Will not be going to one of these again
Worst breakfast I have ever eaten
Worst breakfast I have ever eaten, anywhere. Hash browns were half cooked they were at the bottom of pile. It came with scrambled eggs and cheese, cheese was extremely low grade. It also has bacon. How can a restaurant that serves breakfast not offer omelets. Cracker Barrel only deserves O stars not two. It was difficult to force this pig slop down. Don’t waste your time or money. Restaurant visited was in Brookhaven MS.

My meal was almost $40 including the tip... Why do online apps ask for tips? Workers are already getting paid to do their job. They are not serving me or offering exceptional service through an app. That is what I base my tip amount on, However the app asks for a tip....
Anyhow, My meal was almost $40 and one of my side I requested sliced tomatoes. What I received was 2 small pieces of tomato, the butt end, just the butt because it was a sliver of a slice and a small old looking slice that look like it came from a roma tomato (this counted as a side). I also requested sliced onion, what I received was old onions that were dried out and stained with what I am going to assume tomato. I also added a slice of ham to my order which was $6 something. It was dried out and old.
You guys should be ashamed of your selves for letting this poor quality make it to the customer.

We had a wonderful dining room server by the name of Hannah at the Morehead, Ky locations. She was very attentive and very kind. She always has a smile. I have dined there on serval occasions with her serving us.
Customer Service
This was my first time coming to West Monroe, LA and we decided to stop at Cracker Barrel. Our server Denise was exceptionally nice she showed us different things on the menu. She even showed us how to get to different places that were looking for. She made us feel like home and will be looking for her again the next time we come into town.

I was enjoying my meal with my family then a foul smell lingered... I looked straight across and was shocked to see this small man with really bad teeth and this weird beard..he looked like a gnome. He started laughing and i could smell his breath. It put me off my meal and decided to leave. If any member of staff can see this be warned that the guy is a child predator and a woman abuser. Chance wilkins...he's actually under investigation from fbi & akron pd.

Very satisfying experience
Very satisfying experience at the North Myrtle Beach location. Have read about their corporate remake and it’s starting to show. New menu items, good hot biscuits, excellent service by Lauren D. Side dishes heaped full added to the feeling of great value. Serving a generous breadbasket is a keeper idea. Others must agree as they were out of several selections but Lauren handled it well. Overall, great job. They advanced several notches on our “revisit soon” list.
I ordered chicken and dumplings
Or I ordered chicken and dumplings, a full order and I had a plate full of just nasty flour dumplings. There was like two pieces of chicken in it. I’ve had it before and it was the same way so I thought I would give it another shot. It was terrible. My waiter was new. Only been there for three days and she really tried so I have nothing against her. I don’t think I’ll probably be eating there again.
I haven't been here for about a year
I haven't been here for about a year, I was delighted by my server Belle, in Battle Creek, our food was really good, coffee was excellent. You can always find fault but you can always stay home 🏡. I was happy as a clam to enjoy a great meal... everyone did a great job.... thanks can't wait to try campfire chicken.......
Lorrie was our server
Lorrie was our server, and she was great--5-star service
I wish there was a way to give 0 stars
I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. Awful service, the order had to be done from scratch once and amended a few times because they didn't have this and that. Eventually they had taken so long we had to take the food to go and it tasted awful. First time I've ever requested a refund
Cracker Barrel has thrown out everthing that made it special
Cracker Barrel has thrown out everything that made it special. It want through its Pride LBGTQ+ support phase. Now it is turning its locations into a modern look. I have been going to Cracker Barrell since 1967. CB is getting rid of everthing that made it special. No more!
Rock Hill Cracker Barrel Review
This review is on the Rock Hill, SC store...and I reached out to the corporate office regarding the following: I had orientation at the Rock Hill, SC, Cracker Barrel Store (CB0160) on Thursday, 05/01/2025, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. with Suzanne Smith (manager), and was given the option of going home to watch training videos. I was told by Suzanne to just let her know how many hours it took me to perform this task of watching training videos. So, on Friday, 05/02/2025, I was scheduled to work from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., and I let her know at this time that it took me about 5 hours to finish the video training. She informed me that she would enter these hours on my time clock, as I wasn't given my employee card on Thursday, 05/01/2025, and couldn't swipe it for these particular hours. When I finished working at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 05/02/2025, I swiped my employee card and was given a checkout report of 4.10 hours worked for that day. I decided that this job was not for me due to personal reasons, and gave my resignation online to Cracker Barrel on 05/02/2025 around 9:30 p.m. I also advised on my resignation that I would be returning the apron, badge, employee card, etc., that next week. I mailed these through USPS on Tuesday, 05/06/2025. Today, Thursday, 05/08/2025, I see a pending deposit in my bank account from Cracker Barrel for $27.68 on 05/09/2025. I worked 9.10 hours for pay dates from 04/26/2025 - 05/02/2025, which would have been $127.40 gross pay (9.10 hours @ $14.00/hr), which calculates to $115.88 net pay. I'm not sure where the amount deposit of $27.68 came from? If I was only getting paid for 4.10 hours, that would have been $57.40 gross and $53.01 net, according to my calculations after taxes. So, that would mean that Cracker Barrel still owes me $88.20. I received a response from a Charito Suero, who told me the following: "We reached out to the Store, and they have confirmed that the hours that were paid to you were correct at 4.13, they also confirmed that it was for training hours; training hours are paid at Minimum wage of $7.25. This will make the check you received correct, please let us know if you have any questions." I told her that I was not informed that training was at $7.25 at my orientation. I also asked her what happened to the 5 hours it took me to perform the training modules, which would be at the calculation of $7.25 x 5 = $36.35 gross. So, they still owed me this amount for training. I told her if I knew Suzanne Smith was not going to stand by her word regarding entering these particular hours, I would never have consented to perform these tasks at home. I never heard back from anyone regarding this issue. This is not very good business etiquette for CB to treat their employees this way. Cracker Barrel has very bad reviews all across the board from employees and customers in every state. Shame on you, Cracker Barrel!!
