I made the mistake of buying a very expensive “Covercraft Noah” hood. As soon as I used it, I found that it was made of a material that had nothing to do with what Covercraft described, that is, that it was durable, and that it was supposedly for outdoor use.
Within a month of covering my car with this cover, the neighborhood cats were sharpening their fingernails on it, causing it to be filled with abrasions and tears, until it became a rag.
It lost all protection from the rain and dust and after five months, I threw it in the trash as it was now completely damaged, useless and unable to fulfill its mission as a car cover.
Think, that with minimal effort, in the places that had been scratched by the cats, one could tear it like paper by hand !!!!
Unfortunately, Covercraft sold me an item that was unacceptable, and for no reason so expensive.
I sent a text message to the manufacturer (USA COVERCRAFT), recounting my bad experience, along with detailed 28 photos, and even suggested that I return the unacceptable and damaged hood, which was under Warranty, and send me a "Weathershield", believing that it will be more durable and reliable, paying the difference in money between the two covers.
Almost four (4) years have passed (!!!!!) and so far I have not received any answer !!!!!
Complete indifference !!!
Fortunately, of course, because as I recently read in reviews of "Weathershield", it is hard inside, with a risk of damage to the car varnish.
In any case, what matters is that the money I gave for a very expensive hood ended up in the trash and no one from the manufacturer was interested in it, nor did they take their responsibilities, nor did they compensate me, nor did they even communicate with me. They did not even respond to the three consecutive messages I sent them.
