Paid $12,000 and Received No Accountability Coach, No Buddy Assignment, and No Onboarding Access
I enrolled in the Coach of Life Success CLS Certification and Marketing Program with Courtney Sanders in April 2026 after doing research and attending information sessions. The program is marketed as a comprehensive coaching certification with guaranteed support structures including an assigned accountability coach, a buddy partner for Phase 1 completion, onboarding access, safe practice clients, a free website, and a niche guarantee within 90 days.
What I actually received was several weeks of silence and immediate red flags as soon as I logged into the portal.
I was never assigned a Buddy which is required to complete several sections Phase 1 workbook and cohort. The program then moved my cohort into Phase 2 while I was still stuck at Phase 1 through no fault of my own.
The accountability coach, Valencia, appeared once on my welcome call and never responded to three follow-up requests. I was locked out of the onboarding session because no password or access credentials were ever provided. I submitted support tickets, emails, platform posts, and direct messages over three consecutive weeks with no resolution.
After I formally demanded release of my financing agreement due to non-performance, the company acknowledged in writing that my accountability coach failed to respond and that the buddy assignment process did not work as designed. Despite those admissions, they refused any resolution and are still attempting to collect approximately $9,000 through a third-party lender.
I have filed complaints with the Texas Attorney General, the FTC, the CFPB, and the BBB.
If you are considering this program as a life coach certification, coaching business program, or ICF alternative, please do your research first. Ask specific questions about how buddy assignments work, whether accountability coaches are actually available, and what happens when the program fails to deliver its own contracted promises. Read your contract in full before signing anything or financing through a third party.
I came in with genuine excitement and real financial investment. I left with documentation, complaints, and a hard lesson about high-ticket coaching programs that overpromise and underdeliver.
