In store we also have an extensive fabric library over 300 designer books from brands including Linwood, Sanderson, Iliv, Romo. In 2024 we introduced County Designs, our interior design service with Interior Designer Sarah Clapperton. We’re all about making a house a home and enjoy collaborating with our clients to achieve their vision, from a single room refresh to a whole house or commercial project. For fabrics, curtains or other soft furnishings, please pop in to meet the team and view our vast selection of fabrics in stock. We are open Tuesday -Saturday 10am - 5pm. Appointments outside these hours are available. We provide a complete made-to-measure service and can send fabrics or made-up items anywhere in the world! In addition, we can measure and fit within Scotland. Est. in 1984, County Fabrics is located in a historic old Watermill in Crook of Devon near Kinross. We are often asked why Crook of Devon? The answer is that we can be easily accessed from anywhere in Central Scotland. Many of our highland-based customers visit when travelling south to Perth, Edinburgh or Glasgow. Our regular in-store customers visit us easily from Fife, Lothians, Clackmannan, Perthshire, Stirlingshire, Glasgow etc. Of course, if you can’t make it to the shop you can browse & buy many of our fabrics online.

Fabric hunting heaven!
On our annual upholstery outing we again returned to County Fabrics, the first time for a while that it’s not been the Sale Event.
As usual the ladies made us most welcome, assisted with colours, matching fabrics, insight into fabric use and generally responded to each query with their boundless knowledge and expertise.
The choice of fabrics is a dream for any person with either a project in mind or requiring inspiration. Price ranges to suit every pocket and that’s just with the in stock material. We never ventured to the sample books or in depth into trims, curtain accessories etc or we would be still there.
I always leave there with a smile!

Customer service brilliant!

I love this company - the fabrics are excellent quality (just made a beautiful curtain for our dining room) and such beautiful designs , website very easy to navigate and everything can be bought in one go. Delivery is always fast. I would highly recommend.
