Left a Pug in the back of their work van. How upsetting and disgraceful. The Pug died. Died a painful death. Why are u still operating?
Friendly professional kennels
The team are really friendly and it’s very easy to book. My dog was really well looked after, had lots of exercise out in the field and I felt safe leaving him in their care.

Can't speak highly enough
We board our CBR-Bodie, on a regular basis, I have used other kennels which I had no problems with at all, but CBK has proved to provide above and beyond care and attention towards me and Bodie for the past two years, he comes home totally shattered and doesn't even look over his shoulder to say goodbye to me when I drop him off. All the staff are a credit to the Kennel owners

The staff are always so helpful and welcoming, and we know that Sunflower enjoys her holidays here. Lots of room for her to run safely and she always seems to make lots of new friends. Many thanks for taking such good care of our Furry family member.

Highly Recommend Country Boarding Kennels
We have used Country Boarding Kennels for both our Boxer and our current dog. We cannot fault their care and attention which is always at the forefront of our minds when leaving our beloved pets in someone else’s care. The facilities, especially the dog park, I are amazing and they cater for all breeds and needs, going above and beyond. We have recommended them to many friends who are now loyal customers like us.

Bali Hai took in our pooch as an emergency after a plumbing leak. They have truly made such a difference to pepper and she has returned home looking healthier, glossier, happier and even a little smaller after being walked so much! Truly amazing people who genuinely care about animals and their owners.
Happy & chilled Cat…
Our cat Mary stayed here for just over a week and was looked after very very well. She was happy & chilled when we collected her. Would definitely have her stay with them again.

Move forward in compassion.
Having read some of the rather vitriolic reviews, and fully acknowledging the sadness of the tragic accident a year ago, I would like to deal with the present and historic treatment of my own dog.
My dog will go nowhere else. This is a business that is staffed by people who care enormously for their animals, and as a nervous recently displaced tiny tot due to Covid they nurtured our little boy in 2021. Whenever he stays, it is clear that he has the best time, and having walked my boy round their dog park I have seen what a fab time the resident and 'doggy day care' lot have with my own eyes.
We have some very good Kennels in this part of the world, but this is among the best in my experience. I will always speak as I find.

Our dog loves it here
Our dog Benji came for a kennel holiday last week. He clearly is settled and happy with the staff. I think it helps that he has visited the huge dogpark so many times, so he is accustomed to the place already. In addition, Benji had a three week stay as a younger dog due to family illness. The care, love and attention he received was first class. We had phone calls and updates regularly to let us know how he was. I think that memory of a secure time means he loves going back. In our experience, the staff love their animal friends that visit them.

Wish I could put -1 star
Wish I could put -1 star. One year on and still no justice for Luna. This kennel is neglectful and just plain animal abuse leaving a dog in a hot van for 2 hours. Should be shut down by the RSPCA.
Let’s not forget poor poor Luna the pug…
Let’s not forget poor poor Luna the pug you MURDERED. If you like the risk that your dog will be left and forgotten in a heatwave in a car this is the place for you. That poor dog will have died a painful death and you are still in business that is gross you should be shut down….
This is a very honest review
This is a honest review. When a kennel management fail to recognise when they are wrong and a client tries to rectify a situation to no avail, you know it’s not the place for your dog.
Our Viszla puppy first boarded winter last year. Before collection we were informed by message that the dog had bitten one of the staff. I understand no medical treatment was necessary and it was a one off situation where a duty manager was attempting to place a leash on the puppy while surrounded by other dogs during a walk. I was told at the time that our dog was possibly responding appropriately to the offensive nature of another dog. I’m no expert, but should an experienced handler recognise signs of behavioural changes and anxiety, and that a dog may bite because it feels it has no other option? However, on collection the next day nothing else was said and I simply put it down to experience and that they handled the situation.
Our Viszla boarded again the following autumn. Although the kennel were keen to take the booking and were provided with the required proof of vaccinations on the first visit just months before, they insisted on drop off proof again of the three year booster (on a 18 month old dog) and yearly (recent) kennel cough vaccination. They had no record and we called our vet to verify. The staff were actually quite rude, while at the same time the owners embarrassed by the negative attitude. As we were also mistakenly a little early and on our way to the airport, I asked the owner if they could accommodate our dog an extra hour - and offered to pay - to which he said it shouldn’t be a problem. Without once looking up his manager said otherwise, leaving the owner to shrug his shoulders and say it was out of his hands, leaving us no option than to make other arrangements.
We were then later informed that all kind of bedding was completely forbidden. Now, surrounded by familiar things can give even the most anxious dog a little reassurance, especially puppies. For this reason, most kennels will allow your pet to have one or two items from home, such as simple blanket - we found this out later.
On collection we were told by a nice younger handler that our dog had been a delight to walk ‘off lead’ and well behaved at all times. However, we were then informed by yet another rude and arrogant manager that they would not be accepting our dog back because of the biting incident months before. It was policy and that was that, although they just boarded him for 16 days! The joyful moment of collection quickly turned into a confused, frustrating and upsetting situation that should have been better dealt with, or better still avoided - no matter what the policy says! I told the ‘manager’ exactly that and that her attitude was unprofessional and wrong. I also said I doubt we would board there again. She again arrogantly replied ‘let’s leave it at that then’, like we were a trouble client. Overall the kennel management were substandard and the owners completely out of touch. I’m so looking forward to the response.
Ollie really enjoyed his stay
Ollie really enjoyed his stay. He came back looking very healthy and well. The staff know him and it was lovely to see pictures of him with his new best friend.

Caring, reliable and dedicated - our dog Charlie loves the team.
The Country Boarding team have been looking after our dog Charlie for nine years since he was a puppy. Charlie has medical conditions and they are caring and reliable in looking after his needs, including his medication regime. When he has been poorly during a stay, they have cared for him with love and attention. We could not ask for more and trust the team implicitly.

Not good for reactive dogs
I used the big enclosed field for my reactive greyhound multiple times but stopped going recently. The field seems perfect on the outside but the kennels never wrote in my dog's notes that she was reactive, so multiple times we were there they let the daycare dogs out on the other field. All the kennels did was say they'll keep the daycare dogs on the far side of the other field, but of course they're off lead so they can't. I had said many times that I need both fields to be empty and was assured before I booked that they would be. Because of this, my dog tried to jump the fence in between the two fields and got a nasty cut on her paw.
I was originally told that Thursdays would be good days to come because it would be quiet, and then after my dog hurt her paw I was told to come at the weekends which I did a few times but the customer service is what eventually put me off. We've stopped going now and found a field a bit further away that is suitable for reactive dogs.
Usually I don't post reviews but I just heard about the pug that CBK forgot about in their van for 2 hours on a hot day and subsequently died. I wouldn't recommend them. It seems their business is too big for their little amount of staff if they forget about animals and can't even write on clients notes that some dogs are reactive.

Just picked Ralphie up from the kennels…
Just picked Ralphie up from the kennels after a ‘trial weekender’ before a longer stay later this year and he was in fine form and had already seemed to have formed a bond with the staff. All of the staff we met have been so friendly and very engaged with the dogs. They also have a thorough questionnaire so that they are aware of all of your dogs requirements and quirks! It was also great we were able to visit the kennels for a viewing before we booked Ralphie in so that we could see all of the facilities.
