I am a long term fan of cotton traders as I cannot wear wool and acrylics. Here I can get 100% cotton but I give a 3*rating because too many non biodegradable fabrics based on petrochemicals have crept into the catalogue

Disappointment
I ordered two items, and although both items were available when I ordered them, one proved not to be available when it came to delivery. Although of course I got a refund, I was very disappointed not to receive the item , a blouse, and I do not understand why I was able to order it, but Cotton Traders were not able to supply it.

We are very sorry that we could not supply the 3/4 Sleeve V-Neck Printed Crinkle Top in Bluebell from your order.
On looking into this further, we are sorry to advise that when your order was selected for picking in our warehouse, the bluebell top could not be found and we had no choice but to issue a full refund for the item.
This can be caused by a number of situations, although usually it occurs when stock figures aren’t accurate due to incorrect information provided by our suppliers or a miscount at stock take.
Although this is a rare occurrence, we are aware that this causes obvious disappointment, and we are currently working hard to eradicate this problem.

Item was fine. Delivery atrocious.
The product was as described and good quality. However, despite being charged for delivery and the website saying it would be 'fast', it took a full week from order acknowledgment to order dispatch. Then another couple of days for it to be delivered to their local store. I don't call that fast; I'll probably try elsewhere in future.

When you select the Click & Collect option on our website, it does state: ‘Free over £35, with free returns to store. Delivered within 7 working days to stores nationwide.’
Having checked your order, we can see that it arrived within the 7 working day period. We advise 7 working days for click & collect orders as it depends which day your selected store receives their deliveries.
As your order was under £35, you were charged £2.99 for delivery to the store. I have today refunded this delivery cost as a goodwill gesture. Please allow 3 to 5 working days for this to clear into your account and show on your statement.
