Well. I’ve been going to Costco for over 4-5 years now, but have to say this time( 1 week ago and my 2nd visit this year) . Thoroughly disappointed. Fuel is usually always cheapest. This time, it’s... See more

Honestly, go on a weekday if you can. There are pretty much zero times for anything and they are always fully stocked.

Moorabbin Store & fuel review

Pro’s:-Cheap fuel, sometimes decent label clothing at great prices. Cheap meat, cheap birthday cakes & cheap chips (crisps).

Con’s:- Can only save money on fuel for my diesel vehicle, as the type of unleaded our other car needs isn’t supplied. Store is so busy it’s not the funnest experience especially as the trolleys are so cumbersome & big. And turn slower than an oil tanker.

As for the biggest con, having to queue to get your bloody receipt checked. Just plain dumb 🤦‍♂️.

Customer Service is poor in Casula

Customer Service is poor in Casula, specially the staff call Tara, and staff in shoe and clothes section is not friendly as well, I am feel like being picked on. Cashier is also not helpful, we have advised the terminal only accept contactless payment, which is not be notified at the counter, this has waste us half an hour

Disaster Customer Service

What I've to say worst customer support staff they have now in Costco Marsden Park. I've been costco member since almost 8-9 years and used to go Costco Auburn and never had any issue. However Costco Marsden Park staff members are a disaster. I took my 9 years old son with my friend to costco to shop and after I have completed my shopping I went to the counter for payment and my bad it was a worst support person (Christian was his name) on the counter, when I tried to make payment I realised I forgot my wallet in the car. Instead of going all the way back to the car park to grab my wallet from the car, I've requested my friend to pay and later I will transfer her the money, she agreed to do that, however the person on the counter refused to service this and started arguing that he will not accept this, although I've explained him you want me to go back holding my 9 months who was sleeping and he could see that, but he was so stubborn that he kept arguing with me. I've asked him to call his manager instead of calling his manager he asked another person named Jermaine to come and assist and to my surprise same thing, so he took me to another counter and I cannot believe this is how you could treat your customers, finally a manager came after 30 minutes of arguments and other shoppers kept waiting, who not only deeply apologised but also settled my payment but I was in shocked and in mental distress how you could do that with someone who is carrying a baby, what an arrogance. Thinking to never shop again from Costco Marsden Park.

Worth the Cost of Membership

Is CostCo membership worth it?
For me... yes.

I don’t get everything from CostCo, but I get enough things that are $5+ cheaper other places that I know I make my money back easily.

I purchased my Dyson Stick vacuum for $50 less than other retailers, so I made my membership back with that single purchase.

But it’s not just about getting things that are cheaper. It’s also about getting access to the items that you can only get from CostCo. Some are seasonal items, some are part of their standard stock.

I’ve been a member for several years now. I definitely get my money back, and can’t imagine not having a membership now. I use it too much.
