As someone who arrived with little to no knowledge of the crane industry, I am now proud to say I am a qualified slinger signaller, thanks to Owen’s exceptional teaching style. He shares his knowledge and experiences in a way that makes complex topics clear and understandable.

To everyone on the team, thank you for your continuous support and guidance throughout the course.

I will definitely be back in the future to further upskill in this industry.

Friendly welcoming staff on arrival. Very knowledgeable assessors and can Taylor to the candidates learning abilities, helping make things make sense to them.

Just recently passed A40 Slinger/Signaller at Cornerbrook and I just have to say, that the Training and Test experience was fantastic. The Training given by Matt Jackson was at a top standard and very professional. I felt the way Matt Trained you, put you at ease and was done in a way where it was easy to take in, and most of all understood(very professional). Also I would like to mention Damo a New Trainer to the Conerbrook team who has vast experience in the real world of lifting operations and brings a lot to the table and last but not least Kieth the Crane driver great bloke pinch perfect to your every instruction very experienced .
Would definitely recommend Connerbrook lifting Consultants for your training needs.

Thanks to all the team, 2 years on I'm still in the job.

I completed and passed the AP (A61 course) Last week.
It is notoriously a difficult course and two days in, I have to admit I wasn't confident on a positive outcome!
However, Owen (our instructor) was great and by the end of day 3 it was all clicking into place and by the time we got to Friday (test day) I was more than confident and found the exam really comfortable.
I did this course (and failed) with another company about 10 years ago and let's just say Cornerbrooks way is a lot better.
They will make sure you know your stuff.
Will recommend the to any looking for crane training in the future.

I recently completed the A61 Appointed Person Course with Cornerbrook.
It was an intense week with lots to learn and soak up. However, the teaching style and patience of Owen was exceptional, he made things so much easier to grasp than it might have been elsewhere. Owen made sure everyone was comfortable with the speed of learning throughout the course and always had time to run over things again if not fully understood.
The facility itself is very well set up, the lifting accessories, models etc are all really useful aids to learning.
I hope to complete more courses in the future with Cornerbrook and will be sending our Engineers there for any courses/refreshers in the future. Top people, top teaching and great venue.
My thanks to Owen and Graham for the teaching and support throughout.

Having completed my Appointed persons course and NVQ with Cornerbrook, it was a no brainer to go back and complete my Slinger Signallers and Lift Supervisors course and NVQs with them.
The Team are very knowledgeable, helpful and put you at ease throughout.
The online NVQ portal means you can upload evidence to suit you and at anytime- the nudges were appreciated Graham! 😉

Completed a few courses now with cornerbrook always felt comfortable and at ease throughout the training would highly recommend

Great course doing my lift supervisor. Course is run very professionally and the online NVQ is really easy to navigate and work with.

Graham was great and worked with me getting the evidence I needed to get through the NVQ.
I really like the online system they use makes it so much easier.
would like to use anymore training i need to be with conerbrook and the great team they have.

I Done the A62 crane/lift operations supervisor course.

From the office staff (Liz) to the testers Matt & Owen were all amazing and made the course very enjoyable as well as very throughout I would highly recommend to anyone looking to do any CPCS course to book here it was a pleasure and hopefully I will be back soon doing another course. I done my slinger signaller course 2 years ago with corner brook and have just today completed my level 2 Nvq for my blue card and can’t recommend grayham and his team enough. really patient, helpful and supportive all the way through couldn’t of done it without him. Looking forward to seeing graham and all the Cornerbrook staff later this year for my supervisors!

I would just like to say i have sat this course before at Ainscough but second time around at Cornerbrook was brilliant Owen who delivered the course was brilliant and Paul on test day was brilliant he kept me calm and cool when the pressure was getting to me.
Graham who did the NVQ Side again was Brilliant always on the other end of the phone when ever i needed him. I would say anyone looking to sit any courses please get yourself to Cornerbrook great people and brilliant facilities on site.
i will be definitely going back.

From start to finish the course was enjoyable and was made easy to understand, couldn’t help you enough and with an overwhelming amount of knowledge and experience couldn’t find fault. Would not hesitate in recommending them for future courses. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the office and made to feel very welcome.

I have recently completed an appointed persons course with Cornerbrook. I wouldn’t recommend them enough to complete this course with , the course ran until 5 oclock and the instructors stayed behind for a further 2 hours on two occasions. this is a very complex and compact course but they delivered everything to be easily understandable.

AP course completed and passed last week. Our trainer, Owen, is a consummate professional who has all the skills and experience needed to deliver such an intensive course. I feel ready to take on the AP role for my company.

Top tip - book with Cornerbrook directly. The communication from the third party booking agency was lacking.
