Great service great people, a honest garage for a change would highly recommend

Very happy with my recent visit to Corne motors in southmore. This is the second time I have used them for work on my car. I find them very knowledgeable & informative, keeping me up to date on all work being carried out.
I particularly liked the walk around health check cam which gives you a good idea of what condition your car is like in places you don’t normally see.

The electronic roof on my Mazda MX5 indicated it had a fault and the driver's window was stuck in the down position. This was a security risk and rain was on the way! After trying my usual garage and the Mazda dealership with no luck, I suddenly thought about trying Cornemotors.

They said they would take a look for me and a while later they contacted me to advise that the window regulator had failed. I asked them to order a new one and to fit it, which they did.

The part arrived within 24 hours and was fitted! The guys even washed the car for me! The price was very reasonable, considering the labour to fault find and then replace the new part.

The whole team were incredibly friendly and professional and the experience has left me very satisfied and pleased with the outcome.

They really did come to my aid!

The team at Corne Motors are proper people, who seem to very much pride themselves on providing a first class value for money service.
I've used them now for a number of years and they always go the extra mile to help.
They are a busy business and it's obvious why. I don't imagine any of their clients ever consider using anyone else.

I only found this company recently, but it is an independent garage specialising in sales and service of VW group vehicles. It is also the closest VW garage to my house.
I own an e-Golf and in today's heavy rain I ran through a flooded area of road, quite slowly, but the forces involved were sufficient to partially detach the fibre undertray / battery cover which then proceeded to drag along the road. There was nothing I could do to dislodge it.
I managed to limp into Corn Motors at about 5 minutes past 5 (their workshop shuts at 5PM) and explained the problem to a polite, cheerful member of staff. He took my keys and disappeared for a few minutes. He managed to get 3 of their mechanics, who were still on the premises, to take the car into the workshop, put it up on a hoist and look at the problem.
A quarter of an hour later the tray was reattached and the car ready for me to take away. When I asked him what I owed, he said "that's alright, no charge".
You couldn't possibly ask for better service. Reopen the workshop and no charge for 3 guys work.
I shall certainly be returning when the annual service and MOT are due.

Went back over 2 weeks before service and MOT were due and they were fully booked for the next 2 months! (partly due to a pending workshop refurb. in June).
This is unprecedented in my experience, a garage booked that far ahead. They've got to be good if they have so much business. It's not as if there isn't any local competition.
