Very Disappointing Experience with Corendon Airlines – Would Not Recommend
Unfortunately, our experience with Corendon Airlines was extremely disappointing from start to finish, especially on our flights to and from the Canary Islands.
Our flight was around 5 hours long, yet there was no food or drinks included. We even had to pay for a simple cup of water. For a 5-hour flight, I find this unacceptable and very disappointing.
The worst part, however, was the very poor treatment by the staff at the Canary Islands airport. The employee we dealt with was extremely rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful.
According to our booking, we were allowed 150 kg of checked baggage in total. However, our actual total baggage weight was only 112 kg. The employee insisted that we were only allowed 100 kg and charged us €10 for every kilogram over 100 kg. As a result, we had to pay an additional €120, even though our total luggage weight was only 112 kg.
What made the situation even worse was the employee’s attitude. There was no attempt to explain the situation properly or deal with us in a professional and respectful manner.
We also experienced more than 40 minutes of delay on our flight to the Canary Islands and another 40+ minutes of delay on our return flight from the Canary Islands to Cologne.
Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing:
❌ No food or drinks included on a 5-hour flight
❌ Even water had to be paid for
❌ More than 40 minutes of delay on both flights
❌ Very poor and unfriendly customer service
❌ €120 charged for baggage despite our total weight being only 112 kg
❌ Unprofessional and disrespectful treatment at the airport
Unfortunately, we will not be flying with Corendon Airlines again. I strongly recommend that the airline improve its customer service, communication regarding baggage allowances, and the way its staff treat passengers.

Fast and easy

Reservation and land service is processing without any problem and delay. We took off on time and actually landed earlier than estimated time. Staff on the plane was very friendly and smily face.
One big problem is: when we want to book flight for our pet(dog in cabin) the process is very long and hard. Please find an easier solution. thank you

Got a discount code, and could only be applied to the tickets before or after that I wanted to book...
Then it is better not to give a discount code because it is not usable.

Easy to book a flight.

I didnt get an eletronicboarding pass and they would not let me through, I had to ask for manager assistance as I had 10 min before gate closure,it cost me a ton of stress!

Would not recommend this airline to anyone, especially families travelling with children. Staff was not friendly, also check-in in at airport took very long and also for transfer, just every very unprofessional. No help with people with disability.

This was my first experience flying with Corendon, and unfortunately the ground experience at Antalya Airport was quite stressful.

There seemed to be a lot of confusion regarding the UK entry requirements for passengers transiting through the UK. I understand that this was related to a relatively new UK requirement, and the check-in agent who initially assisted me did her best to help and apologised for the confusion.

However, I was then sent from one desk to another, and when I reached the Corendon desk, the situation became even more confusing. The two agents there were unable to clearly explain what I needed to do, and communication in English was very difficult. For an airline operating international flights, I believe staff should be better prepared to assist passengers with entry and transit requirements, especially when these requirements change.

The situation caused me a lot of unnecessary stress, as for a while I genuinely thought I might not be able to board my flight. I eventually found the correct information myself and obtained the required UK ETA.

I also found the repeated boarding pass and cabin baggage checks just before reaching the aircraft unpleasant. I completely understand that baggage rules need to be enforced, but the way these last-minute checks were handled made the boarding experience feel unnecessarily stressful.

On a positive note, the cabin crew on board were friendly and the flight itself went well. Unfortunately, the overall ground experience at Antalya Airport significantly affected my impression of the airline.

Based on this first experience, I would be reluctant to fly with Corendon again.

Following a flight that was delayed for over 3 hours, I submitted a compensation claim. The only way to do this is through the websites complaint portal which meant that you are not able to speak to anyone over the phone. Responses to each message takes up to two week. After a lot of bank and forth, they accepted liability for £700 of compensation under an EU scheme (two passengers) and having provided my bank account details for payment upon request, no payment has been made and my messaged are now being ignored. I am unable to raise a new complaint and no one will speak to me on customer service as they do not deal with compensation claims.

Very Bad, flight cancel without offering another flight.
