Cooper Discoverer AT3
The new Discoverer AT3LT are an excellent tyre. High load rating for towing, quiet on the bitumen but able to handle the Australian Outback too.

I bought 5 cooper Discoverer AT3 LT…
I bought 5 cooper Discoverer AT3 LT tyres in April 2021 and had them fitted to a 2015 Toyota Prado VX. Size 265/60 R18
We have now done 12,000 kilometres on them in a trip to cape York towing a small off-road caravan. The tyres have performed very well. They are quiet on sealed roads and were trouble free on the highly corrugated Peninsula Development Road to cape York. We have had no punctures on some very rough and rocky roads. The only time they lost traction was on the Bloomfield track when climbing a very muddy section after 100mm of rain. So they are not muddies. They have proven to be a very good all round tyre AT tyre

Tyres lasted much better than previous…
Tyres lasted much better than previous tyres but perhaps not the 80,000km stated. Still 65,000 is much better than previous brands. Tyres could be quieter on course bitumen, but overhaul I would certainly buy them again.

The tyres I purchased were well priced…
The tyres I purchased were well priced and to date have performed well. I rotate them regularly and maintain correct tyre pressures. I have used them primarily for highway and unsealed road surfaces.

Great for highway and sand use
Tyres are on a 2017, which gets used predominantly on road, or on the beach. They hold the road REALLY well, and also work well on the sand, with the pressure down at 18psi. On a recent trip to Fraser, got bogged once, due to lack of experience, however with a few tips from helpful people, who helped maxtrack us out, we sent the rest of the time doing just fine.
Only downside is can be a little noisy on smooth highway/freeway surfaces.

Great long wearing tires and good warranty and service
I have found the quality of the tires to be excellent. And Cooper honours their warranty and kilometre wear guarantees. Additionally, when we had an unrepairable puncture whilst travelling, Cooper support were excellent in the assistance they offered and quickly shipped a replacement tire to the fitting dealer nearest to our location to quickly get us going again. On my third set of Coopers, (the second on this car), and will happily stay with the brand.
