I just started a new subscription with them this week for the first time. They defaulted to a Friday delivery so I tried changing it to Sunday so I could eat the meals at work throughout the week and they ended up sending me a second set of meals at full charge which is $77 for 4 meals. I also didn’t choose these meals so they don’t align with my diet. I’m not happy with my first impression of the company. They should give you the option to choose your delivery date up front and if you change it they should change it for future weekly deliveries. I just feel scammed

Impossible to cancel your subscription. Just by logging into my account to double check that my subscription was cancelled, they resubscribed me to Cook Unity and charged me $95 without me knowing I was resubscribed. When I emailed them to let them know I had not resubscribed, they told me I had accepted an email to reactivate, which I did not, and refused to refund me. Super disappointed by this company and their sneaky antics to keep your subscription. I feel taken advantage of.

After trying a number of food services i have stayed with Cook Unity for several years. They have a large selection of meals + breakfast, dessert, and childrens meals. I have been pleased with same day customer service and a delivery service that texts me the time of delivery.

Cook Unity makes ordering very easy. There is a good selection, and the filtering system allows me to make different selections for the different dietary needs in the family. I do wish they had more gluten and dairy free desserts and entrees to choose from. I would also like more vegan meals that aren't so spicy. But I so appreciate the convenience. The promotions are great, too. And the discounts for referrals that stick! Overall, a great company. Their customer service is wonderful.

We have used many meal services over the past many years and this is by far our favorite! Restaurant quality meals with so many to choose from and access to so many different chefs and cuisines! The delivery service is excellent and the flexible ordering plans are bar none!

They offer no way to cancel this service on their app or online. You can only pause. I paused it and three months later, they charged me AGAIN with absolutely no notice that the pause was ending. Then, they refused to issue a refund, even though the meals could still be changed, so obviously they hadn't been prepared or shipped yet. This company is a scam. If they were legit, they would allow you to cancel on the app instead of just pause and they would properly notify you if your pause was ending and you were going to be charged.

One of my sets of meals came smashed and they gave responded quickly and gave me a credit for it. They respond quickly and I have never had any issues with getting my meals on time

I’ve had a fantastic experience with CookUnity and would absolutely give it 5 stars. The meals taste amazing—everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and restaurant-quality. You can really tell the chefs put thought into the recipes.

The portion sizes are perfect—not too small, not overly heavy—just right for feeling satisfied without overdoing it. Since starting, I’ve also noticed an improvement in my overall health because I’m eating more balanced, well-prepared meals instead of relying on takeout or quick, less healthy options.

CookUnity is the most FRUSTRATING service I’ve ever dealt with! They basically auto-subscribe you, start picking meals on your behalf, and then hit you with a bill like it’s totally normal! No clear consent, no transparency—just straight-up shady practices. Current stats showing 12% of the reviewers gave them a 1 star rating. That's 1,882 people!

And good luck trying to fix it. Their customer service is a joke. The phone number leads nowhere—literally feels like it’s there just to make it look like they care. You’re stuck going in circles with no real support while they keep charging you.

Total nonsense. Stay far away unless you enjoy being billed for things you didn’t clearly sign up for and dealing with nonexistent support. What a joke.

The food is good and there are lots of options

So convenient for me to have meals every week instead of mealprepping! It saves so much time and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Of all the meal delivery services I've tried, Cook Unity is by far the best. Prompt delivery and great meals that have plenty of flavor.

Unfortunately, my experience with this company did not work out. My first order went smoothly; the product quality was quite good, and the recipes were well-balanced and tasty. The delivery was on time. However, things went downhill from there. Instead of the order I had placed, they delivered a completely different set of recipes—ones that entirely failed to take my preferences into account. Not a single one of the 16 recipes I had actually ordered was delivered. I reached out to customer support, asking them to retrieve the unauthorized delivery and issue a refund, but no one responded to my inquiries. Consequently, I cancelled my subscription.

I've been using CookUnity for the last several weeks and it has truly made my life easier! My husband and I order 4 meals each for the week and our meals have consistently been tasty. It is so convenient to toss multiple dinners in the oven and enjoy in just 15 minutes. The delivery process is easy, we just swap out our old bag for a new one each week. We also love the variety of the meals offered each week. As my husband and I have different taste palettes, we enjoy picking our own meals and trying new things offered. We love how CookUnity allows us to have individual meals that we know are going to taste good. Additionally, the price is comparable to take out anyday! (Even some fast food places)!
We've had one error in our meals and the problem was fixed in the same day! We can't beat that customer service! I always tell my friends about how CookUnity has made our lives easier!

I’ve been really impressed with CookUnity so far. The meals are fresh, delicious, and incredibly convenient. Most days I heat them in my air fryer, but they’re just as easy to warm up in the microwave when I’m feeling lazy.

The portions look small at first, but I’ve noticed I’m never actually starving afterward. If anything, it’s helping me stay more mindful with my nutrition and portions while still getting really high-quality food. I’ve even felt better overall and more consistent with my healthy eating.

Their customer service has also been excellent. The chat feature connected me with someone within minutes, and they helped me find a meal plan that actually fit my budget.

I'm a very busy person with very little time to cook. On top of that, I'm not great at coming up with new ideas so I end up sticking to the same stuff over and over until it becomes bland/mundane. With all that considered, I decided to try Cook Unity and haven't looked back since. I was skeptical at first because I've seen bad reviews of similar companies, and didn't have great experiences with other meal services in the past, but I was shocked with how good the food is. I'm not even exaggerating when I say even after months of using it, I have not had a single meal that I didn't love. The diversity in the meals I eat, the excellent nutrition, knowing these meals are put together by actual professionals, and never getting sick of anything are some of the many things I love about Cook Unity. If you're considering giving it a try and can afford it, I highly recommend it.

Good food, good service, and reliable delivery. They make it super easy to filters meals by values, e.g. less than 35g carbs and no dairy and no wheat.

I think the food is really good, I like the seasonings, every meal is cooked to perfection.

Be careful relying on this service for your weekly meals. My order was confirmed by email, so I had every reason to believe the delivery was scheduled. The meals never arrived. When I checked my account, it said “payment failed,” but I had never been notified about any issue beforehand. No email, no alert, nothing. Instead, the order was simply canceled without warning, leaving me with no meals for the week. If the company can send confirmations but can’t notify customers when there’s a problem, the service simply isn’t reliable.
