I love the product and received it really quickly. One plate was unfortunately broken, and that was handled very professional and kind. The plate will be replaced.

Update: thank you for your reply.
Under EU consumer law, which applies to Cookinglife.eu (based in the Netherlands), products must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.Because these are food storage jars, the presence of fine glass dust and shards throughout the box creates a significant health hazard that cannot be easily or safely remediated, making the remaining items unfit for their intended purpose.
The other jars are not fit to be used as there is fine particles of glass and glass shards in and on all the metal fittings on all the jars and around the glass jars themselves. They are NOT FIT to be used - they are supposed to be for storing food?
Please provide replacement jars for these UNUSABLE jars too.
……
Extremely disappointed with my order CLS140604. I bought two sets of glass jars (6 x 750ml and 6 x 1500ml) all arrived in the same box and one of the jars was so smashed it was reduced to glass sand and shards that were spread throughout the box and contaminated both sets of jars. I submitted a claim within 1 hour of their arrival with photos of damaged box and goods. (Your return request with reference RE-2026-20166 for order CLS140604 has been approved.) which was approved and they said they would replace both SETS of jars ( 6 x 750ml and 6 x 1500ml) . Only 2 replacement jars were sent.
I have notified them of this mistake and Customer service is painfully slow, handled by a bot, with no urgency to resolve issues. They are now saying they cannot find the order number when I notified them again today that no-one is getting back to me to fix this.
The company is based in the Netherlands but fails to support UK customers. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to goods of satisfactory quality and a full refund or replacement. Reading other UK reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem. This level of service feels misleading and borderline scam-like.

I bought some Plates a couple of weeks ago and I had to pay £142 tax to receive them in the UK something that they did not specify when advertising their Plates. No one has responded to me no customer service officer has called me or emailed me to tell me why even though I have complained several times and left negative reviews. To add an insult to injury the Plates that I have bought have one by one broken in the dishwasher so please do not buy their plates they are not dishwasher safe and they break non-stop. I am now considering legal action against them in a small claims court keep away from this company.

Order wine glasses, first time received them perfectly fine, second order I was requested to pay for import fee. Emailed the customer service, Charlie only reply one time to the email and will never ever reply anymore, no follow up. Already filled a report to Trading Standards and dispute a chargeback from the bank. Everyone please avoid the scammer.

They are liars. They have not sent me an email and i am demanding my money back. i will now complain to consumers rights because they did not advertise the fact that there is a tax cost. i went on their website again today ad they are still not telling peolple that there is a tax to pay. very high i paid £142. I want my money back.

Same as the review before me.. I ordered a pack of 6 cups and 2 arrived damaged they said I had to pay to return?? Disgusting customer service. Underhand and dishonest

2 glasses out of a set of 4 arrived chipped. I took very clear pictures and contacted the company straight away but they refused to help. After 2 weeks and 30 messages sent to them, they eventually agreed to refund me half of what I originally paid as only half the set was damaged. Terrible terrible customer support and experience in general!

Extremely disappointed with my order CLS129292. I bought two sets of bowls and one set of plates—two bowls and two plates arrived broken. Customer service is painfully slow, handled by a bot, with no urgency to resolve issues.

Update on my previous 2 reviews: I did get a full refund for the plates. It took a lot of time with numerous emails to both bots and humans, but I got there in the end. So I am satisfied.

…
While one glass arrived in great condition the other has been smashed to bits. I tried a refund through their online portal, only to be told my order number cannot be found. Well, clearly it exists as I have received my order half broken. After attempting to contact on WhatsApp, I was told I would be put through to a human agent. 7 hours later I have received no further contact. Calling was useless as well, and it appears I have no recourse to remedy. Disappointing!!

⭐ 1 Star – Still No Refund After 2 Months! Appalling Communication
I’m extremely disappointed with this company. It has been over two months since I requested a refund for my order #CLS100235, and I’ve received no refund, no clear communication, and no accountability whatsoever.
The level of service is shocking – I’ve been left completely in the dark despite multiple follow-ups. At this point, it feels like the company is simply keeping my money without providing the product or the refund.
This is your final chance to resolve this matter and issue my refund. If I don’t receive it immediately, I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the European Consumer Rights authorities (ECC-Net) for what appears to be unethical and potentially fraudulent behaviour.
I strongly advise others to avoid this company until they show they can treat customers fairly and respect basic consumer rights.

Don’t buy from these people. Items still not delivered over a month late still no refund.

At first, I was a bit disappointed because the product didn’t quite meet my expectations — there were a few issues that needed sorting out. However, I was really impressed with the customer service. They responded quickly, kept in touch throughout the whole process, and made sure everything was resolved to my satisfaction.
Mistakes can happen, but how a company handles them says a lot — and in this case, they truly stood behind their product. I really appreciate the effort and communication, and I’d be happy to order from them again in the future.
One or arrived with a little scratch but to prevent any hassle I ignored it. I didn’t start using them till about 3 months later. However the quality is shockingly terrible. I wish I checked the reviews on here first rather than looking at the reviews on their website. There’s people complaining but putting 5 stars? The dinner plates chip so easily with any slight knock. I’ve used them less than 4 months now and feel so frustrated that I want to bin them and buy new ones which won’t match everything because I’ve bought the whole set including cups. The bowls have chipped as well. I just actually haven’t got round to using the cups. Regret buying these completely!

Usually I don't start complaining before I contact the seller and give them a fair chances to better them self, but sins the complaint formula on your sight won't recognize my order number that is; CLS102465, I have no choice other than report you hear. I orderd a Pyrex glass messuring can that came with a small damage on top of it, now I guess I have to live with a damage goods. This chip must have been there before you sent the product, sins it is under and protected by the plastic lid.
Please advice and contact me at my email?
3 days have past and no communication.
4th. day and "Davey" that is an AI has contacted me and now "it" is going to forward and escalate my claim to a HUMAN alive person LoL, hopefully they are as good as the AI.
I ask myself; What would I do without my trusty Trustpilot?
01.10.'25
Looks like the "AI, Davey" blew a live in somthing that is possibly alive in this firm, I'm not sure 🤔 because this is developing awfully slow, but in the right direction!
Let's give them (the humans? and AI) a chance to redeem them self.
I appreciate that you are willing to send a new can but I have bought another can from a different vender therefor I would appreciate you reimbursed me instead.
Ups! The AI was lightning fast and sent a new one, so now I have 2 new messuring cans.
Sometimes you just have to laugh at life 😆 otherwise you would go bimmilmm.
This is funny, now it looks like the former "AI, Davey" is coming alive as a human live person and offered to refound me (4 days and nothing returned on PayPal) let's see how that goes, hopefully well?
Until then the 1 stars stays.
10.10.25.
The saga continues, just found out "Charlie" is an AI that helps Davey that is actual a LIVE person; to wright and sign Davey's mail. I don't think young Davey knows that AI Carlie is corresponding on Davey's behalf! Somebody ohght to tell young Davey that his identity has been borrowed or stolen by "Frankenstein AI Charlie". Not good, is it?

Don’t waste your time if you’re in the UK. Items arrived smashed to dust. No ability to select UK when filling out address for a replacement, and no option to select “refund” either. Online chat is useless as takes hours to respond and then bot just repeats itself. Total scam. Can customer service please refund order: CLS100765 immediately.

A scam…. All pieces broken, plates etc…. Promised a refund. After 2 months still nothing.
Never experienced this bad level of customer service.

Had two broken bowls in my order so asked for replacement. They told me no stock so would refund. Still no refund despite numerous messages to them. Customer service non existent!!

Reply from cookinglife.eu
The worst customer experience I have ever encountered, by some margin.
My order was delivered damaged and 3 months later (and countless emails) I still have neither a replacement or refund. They simply do not care. I eventually had to contact my bank after waiting a month for the refund I was promised in writing (they even tried to dispute the chargeback!)
The prices are good, but be prepared to go through the chargeback process if anything goes wrong. Customer service is non existent.
