These materials should come with a simple self-study guide, but unfortunately, they don't. Many of the tabs are misplaced, and the highlighted sections are not clearly marked. It shows that their quality control is very poor

The books they send you to highlight are not correct. It tells me to tab a page but nothing to highlight! Why tab it if your not going to highlight? One book they have a picture from 20 years ago so that tells me that these books aren’t updated at all!!

Pricing, pricing, pricing. This stuff is overly expensive, the shipping was really expensive and slow to be delivered.

I was able to find the books I hope I need for the related test and order them quickly along with training for the test. So far, so good.

Really easy to navigate through the class, really informative.

This training content/style is well below my expectations. All I see is someone behind a microphone reading the content of each book, something I can do myself.
VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I work 60 to 90 hours a week and have been getting this done on the side. The online course used the old addition of the book and the new addition doesn't match what they show online. I learned to use the book well because of this, but I couldn't finish the course in time. They offered to charge me another 300 dollars to get back into what I already paid for. Had they given the right books to begin with, I could have finished it with my limited time. They give you 6 months. They charge you 1200 dollars for the books, and you can find them a lot cheaper. customer service is smug and extremely rude. I would use anyone but them. I spent over 1600 dollars with them and could have gotten this done for 600 all together. These people are a scam.

I paid almost $3,000.00 for books that are tabbed and highlighted.
There were legit only 5 answers actually highlighted from the test.
Don't waste your money.

I went through the G13 Contractor C training over the past 3 months. I am pretty new to the field and don't have years of experience with the code to rely on. Most of the value is in the practice quizzes and exams - there is very limited actual training content. The quizzes familiarize you with the location of stuff in the book to help you find stuff you don't know during the exam. That said - the highlighted sections of the book, and the practice quiz/exam questions, had very little connection to the actual test questions. The practice quizzes and exams reuse a limited sample of questions and get repetitive. They overweight questions on girder/joist span distances, foundation wall heights, etc and underweight mechanicals and a whole host of other details. Almost all questions on the practice quizzes/exams were from highlighted book sections. Almost none of the questions in the real test were from highlighted book sections. That said - I passed, so I'm happy, but go in expecting the actual test to be harder than the sample tests provided.
