To be honest, I didn’t even know this website existed before placing my first order last week. I was a bit hesitant at first, but decided to give it a try—and I’m glad I did. My contact lens order arrived within a week, and the price was the best I could find both online and in-store.

No exchange policy
When I sent in my order, I sent pictures of my current boxes with lens strengths and prescriptions and also with what kind of lenses I currently have. I received an email back that I had ordered the correct ones. When I received them I opened both packages, left and right, and put them in my eyes, only to realize that they were not multifocal like it had said in my sent pictures. I was assured that my order was correct and now that they are opened I cannot do an exchange. I contacted contacts for Less yesterday to inform them and I was told that due to policy because they are open there's nothing that can be done. I responded by saying that they did confirm my order and that it was correct. Apparently it wasn't and I did not receive a response back after that. I'm not sure if it was being escalated to another department or if I'm just being ignored. Either way I did not receive a response back.
My response
Paul, I see from your response that you do not hold your own staff accountable, the way that you hold your customers accountable. Interesting. As mentioned previously, I sent pictures of my current product, and was assured by your staff via email, that my order was correct.
I did check my order, and it was exactly what I was told to order, by your staff, and what was printed on the invoice. When I brought my concern of sending a picture of my current product to your service department and was assured that my order was correct by your staff, I did not receive a response from them, but I did, from you, only after I honestly reviewed my experience, for others to see.
As far as not being able to return or exchange a product after it has been received and opened from any other website, is simply not the case. Amazon is only one example of this happening in the past.
Either way, it is not necessary to respond as this is obviously not going to end with a different outcome then you have previously stated. Your company asked for a review, which is what I did and your response is that it is my fault, which is unfortunate. I don't usually order online, and this is why.
I would include the screenshot of the communication with your staff, assuring that my order was accurate, but it won't allow me to do that here.

Jason, this is the company's owner, Paul Slusher. Please remember that you are responsbible for what you order. You ordered the incorrect product, then, without checking the outside of the box before opening it, you opened the product.
The policy is very simple and clear. We are sorry this happened to you, but when you order the wrong product and then open it, we cannot take it back as a return. It is very surprising that you assumed you could open a product and because of your own error, you now want to return the product. I am sorry, but you will not find any website that sells you anything that will allow that.
We are happy to help you in the future, but it is important that you ALWAYS ORDER THE CORRECT PRODUCT and then when you receive it, ALWAYS CHECK THE PRODUCT BEFORE OPENING IT. We even have a warning that is included in your shipment, reminding you of this.

Price and delivery time were good
Price and delivery time were good. What I don't like is 180 daily contacts sitting in a community mailbox in very cold weather. I know you are inclined to say there are not impacted, but consensus is that at -15 or below contacts can be negatively impacted. Would prefer to the door delivery, as contacts are less inclined to spend a night in a very cold mailbox. I'm in Ottawa by the way.
