Finishing today with an excellent ultra professional insulation by Matt and Scott.
They never stopped from the moment they arrived and worked so methodically, tiding up as they worked, left no rubbish or packaging behind.

I had a system designed for me back in 2023 when solar and batteries were just becoming mainstream. I would have benefited from a 5kw inverter, and this was later added by another contractor and we sold the old one on eBay. What I didn't appreciate was making changes, even with sunsynk installers apparently invalidates Contact Solar warranty. Subsequently an original battery has failed and despite being happy to give telephone and email support they wouldn't come back on site. When they discovered my system had been upgraded they have declined any help saying the terms and conditions etc. With complicated and often new technology back up and after service is paramount and whilst many glowing reports cover the initial installation. Whilst my system has worked as intended, with hindsight I would have spent more time choosing my supplier. Fortunately I have been able to find a local sunsynk installer to come and submit the warranty claim for me.

Just to correct the reply from Contact Solar, the invoice was dated November 2022 and I think after some initial teething problems it was not fully live and operational until the first weeks of 2023. They have still not supplied the electrical installation paperwork.

Brilliant team, did everything they said they would and held our hands all the way through making a new experience understandable and exciting.

For years I'd delayed trying to get solar panels and batteries installed, mainly because of other people's negative experiences of installers and a lack of information about anyone trustworthy and reliable.
I approached Contact Solar because of their association with EDF (I hear about Contact Solar from EDF). From first contact until completion of the installation I've been consistently surprised and impressed by the staff's keenness to describe how things work and explain available options.
I hadn't previously understood what installing solar panels and batteries would involved but Contact Solar arranged every aspect, from working out possible layout of panels and other equipment (including a detailed survey of my property), arranging for a necessary upgrade to my electrical system and arranging a visit from UK Power Networks, scaffolders etc plus doing the administrative work to support an application for an export tariff.
Grateful to Contact Solar for making the process easy and pain-free. And at a very reasonable price, I thought.

Communication from the quotation and administration staff was first class. The installation from the surveyor to the scaffolders and the install team was excellent. I would recommend Contact Solar to anyone who wishes to take this path for their home energy. Very happy with everything.

Every aspect of my solar array installation by Contact Solar has been exceptional. The quality and knowledge of their staff has surprised me. They are quick to respond and very accurate. A truly excellent company.

Installed our Sunsynk solar system and batteries last year, which has been working perfectly. Read on various forums that you should regularly check for Firmware updates, so contacted customer support by email. Received a reply within 24 hours from Jack saying that updates had to be done direct by Sunsynk and would I like him to arrange this. That’s what you call great customer service.

Perfect experience from start to end every time I had inquiry straight away sorted either by whatsapp or by email worked around my time frame which I really appreciate the staff so lovely and understanding the guys come out to install the panels and equipment no issues no hassle straight forward definitely recommend them again to anyone way better experience then my previous insulation guys eon.

These guys are really good at designing, project managing and installing your system. We bought a battery/solar system last year and all went reasonably well. After-sales support is non-existent though. I wanted to enquire about making some changes to my setup, I had to chase them several times to try and get some sort of response and got nowhere. Eventually I was talking to a guy from a rival company who said he had contacts there, the result? Contact Solar sent me a quote for a new system, so they are completely unaware of me as an existing customer. So, if you want a good system and installation, these guys are OK, but if after-sales support is important for you, best look elsewhere 🙂

Great team, from Matthew who I originally spoke to all through the process, scaffolders and installer contractors were also a pleasure to work with and to date after case has been good.

Contact Solar fitted my solar panels over 4 years ago and are still providing me with support. When I email them with a query they always respond within 24 hours and often straight away. Would definitely recommend them for fitting and after sales service

The process of agreeing the contract, installing the equipment, and changing to the new tariff was remarkably free of hassle. Very refreshing!

I found Contact solar very helpful and friendly, telling me from the first step how the process to putting up my solar panels, with the date and time for the scaffolding to be erected and to be removed.
The crew that arrived to install the system was again very friendly and explained everything to me. I am very happy with there work and would recommend this company to friends.

Will split my review into three sections.
1..office staff are helpful and full of information and sort out numerous enquiries. 5 stars.

2..scafololders not very contentious about putting scaffolding on felt roof, some damage done. 3 stars.

3...system installers efficient and maybe a bit to quick as left mess on roof, ie cable tie ends and bits of packing. Also did not wipe down panels after installation and leaving hand prints and smears on all of them which I will have to get cleaned by someone at some point. 4 stars.
So that gives the whole experience an average of 4 stars.

Contact Solar made the process of installing the solar panels very simple. The process was seamless and once the panels were installed they assisted me with the set up of the App and the tariff with EDF

From the original enquiry to the final installation, Contact Solar has provided a professional and friendly service. The team that did the install were knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. The post installation service and Tesla app run though has been very good. I can recommend the whole team.
