Ran a quote through my current…
Ran a quote through my current insurance company they came back to me with a £700+ quote.
I went to compare & several companies quoted over half that price with better excess, breakdown cover & legal cover.
I ended up going with Darwin platinum insurance off of the confused.com search.

Overpriced and ridiculous
Overpriced and ridiculous, why ask me to make a review when your charging an arm, leg and half my soul for some car insurance. If your prices where fair or you hadn't send me an email asking for a review I wouldn't be making this but why provide such a service expecting this amount of money and then have the audacity to expect a good review... oh sure you want many thousands for a years worth of insurance and no one will offer monthly affordable payments or here's this offer for a black box where you have your driving tracked, can't brake fast if a kid runs infront of your car, can't drive after 10pm even if you need to take your sick little one to hospital. The black box situation is disgusting and controlling.
Oh but if you don't want a black box just spend 4-8 grand on one of our other choices... yea not interested. Make it cheaper or refrain from further emails.

Confused.com always seems to win on pricing
Very easy to use the website. The layout is clear and simple. It's full of great providers and good prices. I usually compare with other competitors and Confused.com always seems to win on pricing. I like that they also have nice reward add-ons like £20 voucher to spend and hot drinks for 1 year when you buy a policy. I have enjoyed this perk a couple of times now. Loyalty is important for both parties.
