Poor customer experience from Director.

Without Prejudice

I followed my Accountant from his own business (client with him for approximately 12-15 yrs.) to Configured Business (CB).

I could not speak highly enough of my former Accountant in reference to his professionalism, engaging personable approach & integrity. He valued his clients based on his relationship/engagement/integrity & access with his clients.

Recently he moved to CB. My relationship with my former Accountant is blocked. This is the Director’s choice (business model), to mistreat, control, deny client’s access to their Accountant based on my poor customer experience. Unless it is dollars first, client relationship is negated. it is extremely impersonal experience (to the contrary with my previous Accountant that I would trust with my life).

The priority with CB based on my short experience by the Director is driven directly by $$’s not client needs or relationships. The experience certainly does not involve responding to queries directed to him as the Director totally ignored approaching (12) months later still with nil response.

This model of business does not work for me especially when you are paying a fee (though refuses to answer question around fees), have questions unanswered & to fill-out a form that requires minimal energy or engagement for a consultation you pay money for coming from reception.

I do wish to clarify my respect for my former Accountant remains. I hold him with high regard, however the CB business model does not align with my values or business needs.

It is the Director’s prerogative how he runs his business as it is a client’s prerogative to leave a business when one feels unhappy with poor customer service & treated with contempt. This includes constantly dealing with Reception without a response from the person you trust based on a relationship for approximately 12-15 yrs.

Based on my poor experience with CB the Director only sees $’s that negate any room for professional relationships to build trust or integrity, to the contrary.

I am sorry to leave my former Accountant as he is an amazing man & excellent Accountant. I wish you well (D). Thank you for our relationship & your integrity for the past 12-15 yrs.

My needs are small though to be ignored by a Director of Company with misinformed allegations in reference to my long-term professional relationship with my former Accountant, doesn’t promote business integrity or trust.

I have owned a number of businesses with my family & know that any business is only as good as its last client & reputation.

I terminated my business relationship with CB based on Director’s mis-informed allegation as per my response 23/8/2025.

Once again, I was blocked to directly contact my Accountant despite the email directed to my Accountant not the Director (yes, a director is responsible for the business …Privacy issues???? from a client perspective??? (Says more about the Director’s workplace culture in reference to trusting staff & micromanagement based on my experience including lacking finesse for client confidentiality engaging with another staff member's client.

Poor customer experience from Director, not happy time to move on.
