I'm very impressed with computerdealsdirect

Couple months ago I took a chance, ordered a refurb engineering laptop (HP Zbook Studio G8 with an RTX A2000 GPU, 32GB mem, 512GM SSD) from computerdealsdirect . com.

Taxes included I paid them $815. Please note a new current gen G10 series with basically exact same specs is $1900 new from HP

So what did computerdealsdirect ship me?

They sent me a brand new (!) HP Zbook Studio G8 ! They basically sent me a $1900 laptop = > I'm certain it was new because I pulled the bottom cover off and the cooling fans did not have a spec of dust, and the entire product including display was flawless new condition. I've been using it daily now for two months and it is an awesome engineering workstation which I cannot believe I got for $815

I'm pretty sure what the back story was. This laptop arrived with an corporate encrypted Windows OS image put on by IT dept of well known R&D OEM company. I just reimaged to Windows 11, which took me about 10 min.

That corporate OEM image told the story: that big OEM company's IT dept inadvertently bought too many HP Zbook Studio G8's and put their corporate image on them. Then some qty never got distributed to their engineering staff, so they sold them (at discount) back to HP who had to label them refurbs and sold them through their official HP refurb resale partners - of which computerdealsdirect is one.

So now you understand why I am incredibly impressed with computerdealsdirect

No guarantee that like me you'll get a NEW laptop for the price of a refurb, but I certainly recommend buying from computerdealsdirect

First of all

First of all, this is Consolidated Computers at computerdealsdirect.com, not Michael. They lie about everything else. So, why not lie about this? They list themselves on all of the savings sites PriceGrabber, Shopping.com, Shopzilla and many others, stating that they have computers for $3.00. Obviously, this couldn't be true. When you go to their site, their prices are actually high. They are a very bad place to shop. I would never buy from them since they are obviously dishonest. If they are dishonest about this, won't they be dishonest when selling you something?
