SCAM

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Don't waste your money. Rubbish product, shocking customer service.

I bought these gloves via a Facebook advert (my first mistake!). When they arrived they were nothing special, certainly not worth £20. When I tried to arrange a return within the 30-day period on their website the company blanked me and their UK website has since closed. You have been warned!

Terrible product

Terrible product, awful customer service. Gloves stank of fish when they arrived, two months later and I’ve still not seen a refund. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

Lies on website and no exchanges or returns?

My wife ordered two pairs of gloves: one for me and one for herself. After following their own sizing guide and measuring our hands, she ordered a size up from our intuitive sizes.

They arrived and were baggy, so my wife wrote to comfy hands requesting an exchange for smaller sizes. She received an automated email saying that refunds and exchanges were not possible because the products had been used. This already contravenes the "satisfaction guaranteed" policy stated on the comfyhands UK website.

My wife wrote back to comfyhands to explain that the gloves remain in "as new" condition - and were only tried on once for size - as any gloves would be at any retailer. She has since received the same, automated replies stating that comfyhands cannot exchange or refund used gloves.

If this really is the company's policy, it would appear the company lies on its website and is determined to keep hold of all monies received irrespective of customer satisfaction. Without a satisfactory response, I will set out to recover our money on principle through the UK small claims court (which I have only ever had to do once before with any other business).

I'm still hopeful that the repeated emails may have been sent in error. If I receive a satisfactory response I will gladly update this review.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before buying 2 pairs, one for me and one for my husband. The gloves took over a month to be delivered despite my contacting the company on numerous occasions! When they did eventually arrive we discovered that not only are they not warm but also they are not waterproof! We are outdoor people with horses and dogs so thought these would be ideal for the winter weather, how wrong we were! Do not buy these gloves!!

Avoid this company, it's total scam

Avoid this company, it's a total scam.
The gloves come from China taking 2 weeks to be delivered, then they come in a cheap quality plastic bag, and finally when you tried them, the gloves are noway near to the described gloves (not wind proof and definitely not waterproof).

To make things even worse, when you try to get a refund you will get an automated email stating that they will not refund you because they don't know what you have done with the gloves (despite on the website stating you could return for any reason).

The only way I've managed to recover some of the loss was through PayPal (if you used it to buy the gloves)

Don't waste your money on these gloves

Don't waste your money on these gloves. They do not keep warmth in your hands and are the worst gloves I've ever purchased. I contacted the company to return them for a refund due to their claims for the gloves being untrue. The only thing that was true, of my gloves was that I could use phone while wearing them. The company refused my request because I had worn them. If course I'd worn them, that's how I discovered they did not keep my hands warm.

Very disappointing and inflexible…

Very disappointing and inflexible Customer Service. I purchased these based on a recommendation from a well known garden designer. We were away over Christmas. The gloves took over a week to arrive, unfortunately after we had already left the UK. Most retailers extend their returns and exchanges over the Christmas period. On our return to the UK and trying the gloves I realised I needed a Large size rather than the Medium size I ordered. This is difficult to get right when purchasing online. At no point have I ever asked for a refund. I politely asked (several times) if they would consider my request to exchange them for size Large even though I was aware I was beyond the 30 day returns period. They took a long time to respond on each occasion and still have not replied to my last email. They have been unyielding in their refusal to exchange the size so I cannot use the gloves - I ordered two pairs. Lesson learned - be very careful about ordering and purchasing from companies which promote their products via social media. I would dissuade anyone from purchasing from this Company

Bought a pair of these gloves, wore once and they started to fall apart, were NOT waterproof and not particularly warm - certainly not as advertised! In addition the company is refusing to refund my money! Total rubbish!
