1) To the former complainers: Do not believe that Comdata.com will allow you to move money off your employer pay MC into your own personal bank, after you go online to fill out another direct deposit form on their web site. Other complaint sites have stories from other users who never got their $ off their Comdata.com or FINTWIST MC Master Cards. We need to contact the real MasterCard company which gave Comdata FINTWIST permission to issue employee pay cards with the MasterCard MC logo and complain to the REAL MasterCard company - that they never should have allowed Comdata & FINTWIST to use their Logo. 2) Master Card is allowing Comdata.com to allow VehicleStory to Steal from all of us.
I have the same complaints as those below, PLUS my Master Card issued through my Employer EmployGig's employee pay company Comdata.com through FINTWIST has also ignored my six requests to have the VehicleStory charges reversed and issue me a refund. You know Chase or CapitalOne refunds their customers and goes after fraudsters, but not Comdata.com Comdata.com also has to be avoided because they directly steal from their customers and allow all other types of scams to be done to us as well. For example, a woman has complained online that Comdata Fintwist cancelled her MC and issued her a new one, but her old one got re-opened and all her savings transferred from her new card over onto her old card (which she no longer had) and someone used up all her savings at various locations in Miami, FL where she has never traveled to.

I give 1 star because it MAKES me. I have 2 weeks worth of paychecks on this terrible card. I set up my auto deposits. This money didn't move. I called today and was told that any future deposits would move, but not the funds on the card. I was then told I had to enter a manual deposit and wait another 10 days to verify. Then, and only then, could I move those funds. I tried going to the ATM in their network...it only allows 200 dollar increments a day. This is by far the worst situation ever! I cant get all my money for 2 weeks worth of pay and if I do, I can only get it at 200 dollars a day until I get all the funds or the 10 days manual waiting period is over. I don't get it! You have my direct deposit info, it should be able to move over without an additional 10 days. HATE THIS CARD!!! They get to enjoy holding my money and I get all the BS trying to get my money. They have truly made it extremely difficult to access your funds. "Access your money with ease" is their famous phrase that is a load of crap!

Comdata's Fintwist card and website are AWFUL! I haven't bothered with the app. And will not.
The site is not useful or helpful and you really cannot do any needful operations through it besides just checking your account balance and that's it.
I got the card through a temp agency and they issue this crappy card. With other temp agencies, you have usually have the option to have payment directly deposited into your bank account OR you can use an EASY to set up debit card. NOT THE CASE WITH COMDATA AND FINTWIST! You are MANDATED to use the card and you're supposed to LINK the card to your bank account for transfer (which is stupid because you should just be able to use your bank account for deposits outright WITHOUT their card). I set up the card and got it activated, but could not establish a link to my bank account because the several papers listing the directions to do it are too confusing. The directions are confusing and the fact that mandating linking a card to your bank account in the first place is dumb.
I had to call customer service to make sure my card was activated and then have the operator disconnect the bank link because it wasn't established, anyway!
On top of that you cannot use this card in SEVERAL situations! You cannot use it to withdraw cash at ATMs or for cash back at registers. You also can only use the card with card readers ONLY if credit option is available. Otherwise, you cannot swipe this card to pay for anything at terminals. Ridiculous! It can be used to pay online if a debit card is accepted and maybe over the phone with a representative, too, if a debit card is accepted. But ATM withdrawals? Nope. Debit payments at card reader terminals? No! Cannot do it!
I had to make a payment on my car note, today. I didn't currently have cash in my bank account, so I knew I had to use this Fintwist card instead. Couldn't pay online because my dealership's online method will only connect to bank accounts (again, not enough money in there right now). Couldn't pay over the phone because only debit is allowed over the phone. Drove all the way to dealership to pay with this card in person. Didn't work because, again, if credit is not an option you cannot use this card to pay for stuff at terminals. So drove here for nothing. I just got sick of it and asked my boyfriend to send me the money I needed online to my bank account. I used that to FINALLY make my payment. I am paying back my boyfriend the money, but told him the only way he can use the reimbursed money is to pay for things as credit, otherwise he will not be able to use that card. And you can forget about ATM withdrawals! Again, Fintwist doesn't allow that, either!
Stupid card. Stop issuing this card! It is extremely limiting and a waste.
