Purchased a card on June 2 for even a high price but still somewhat fair. After the next one, the second game of the NBA finals, it was canceled saying out of stock then relisted for a higher price.... See more

COMC Shipping = the Black Pit of Despair
I used COMC for years, but recently it has become a train wreck. My last 3 orders shipped much later than I was told, and my most recent order was supposed to ship on 12/11/25 is now scheduled to ship on 1/29/26. Customer service is non-responsive and they basically ignore you. Shame to see such terrible service from such a big company.
Good site until something goes wrong
Good site until something goes wrong, then you get zero help. They sent my order to wrong country and address. Sent about 50 emails for months to try to get support to get help from them but go not concrete help. Thousands of dollars down the drain and all the cards are gone. Will use Ebay and other sites in the future instead.
They Used to Be Good
I used to enjoy them, for the most part. One time they tried to charge me $70 for a card I never received and only a threat to report them to the Better Business Bureau made them give me my money back. But they used to be a pretty great site overall. Now with their jacked up shipping prices make it too expensive to expand your collection via their site. A shame too. Maybe if they lower those costs, I'll return.
Dispatch Times Slow
Honestly, great company overall. For any issues, you can contact them, which I have done a few times, and they are really helpful. The only negative thing is dispatch time; I wish they'd speed orders up. It's such a shame. I'm a buyer from the UK, so having to wait for the dispatch and then shipping it to me takes a good month. There are always 500,000 orders after I've paid for my order. Hire more staff possibly? Either works. Highly recommend.
Pretty good site to move singles
Great way to move singles as well as buy on UD ePack and sell here. Shipping to home has been costly in the past though as I got dinged with duties, so now I just liquidate on site.
This company will respond back quickly…
This company will respond back quickly in order to make a sale like I have seen many times, but if something goes wrong(they sent me a damaged card that wasn’t suppose to be), they will not respond. Their phone does not work either. Only email. Funny how I’m put on the back burner because of their mistake.
If I could negative stars I would
If I could negative stars I would. What a terrible company this continues to be steady going downhill. Non-existent customer support. Disgraceful!!
I had a really disappointing experience…
I had a really disappointing experience with COMC and want to warn other collectors who use their eBay integration.
I won a COMC-run eBay auction with AutoPay enabled and my accounts properly linked. According to COMC’s own help article, the payment and transfer should have happened automatically — but it didn’t. Their system failed, and even manual payment attempts produced errors.
I contacted COMC support right away, provided screenshots, and even confirmed with eBay that the issue was on COMC’s side. Despite clear evidence, COMC refused to take any responsibility, claiming I was aware of the transaction and refusing to cancel or help, even though the item wasn’t shipped.
To make things worse, their tone was dismissive and unprofessional. One of their replies literally said they’re “not 1 guy in his basement with a shoebox of cards” — which is a ridiculous way to talk to a paying customer trying to resolve a problem caused by their system.
I followed every instruction exactly, acted in good faith, and simply expected their platform to work as advertised. Instead, I was met with blame-shifting, slow responses, and condescending replies.
If you value clear communication and accountability, be very cautious about trusting COMC with your money or your cards. Their system isn’t reliable, and their customer service has a lot to learn about professionalism and responsibility.
Shipping scam
They are ripping people off with shipping. I have 600 card inventory, and they charge .25 per card. ok I agreed to that although again a rip off. they are charging me $320.oo to send my cards to me in Pennsylvania. That is double the price they said when I agreed to keep cards there from upper deck.
My account is set on autopay but it…
My account is set on autopay but it doesn't work half the time. I buy a $30 card on their auction and instead of being sent to my account I'm charged a ridiculous shipping fee and my credit card is automatically charged and the item shipped to my house which also caused my credit card to be overcharged and now I have had to pay twice as much for a bs card by paying shipping and an overcharged fee. Please voice your opinion about this company and leave it negative reviews after purchases on Ebay because they've tripled the fees while lowering the standard. $2 for a card auctioned that doesnt sell, $5 for a card that they dont deem worth over $50 (Royce Gracie Auto by the way) and I still lose the $5? This company has hit an all time low and it is a rip off now.
Almost NO value-add
Almost nearly no value-add, for the huge price they charge. If I was them, and I had the knowledge, I'd use it to actually HELP customers
Okay.
Okay.
Honestly, my first thoughts were great company; however, on my second order, I received a card that was damaged, and in the photos, it looked certain to be in very good condition, but it has a massive crease in the bottom right of the card ON THE FRONT to make matters worse. Although the card is valued at around $3, it's really frustrating as I get my stuff shipped to the UK. I have only just realised after two weeks of receiving my cards that it was one of the cards I asked to get top-loaded, which I paid extra for. I wasn't notified that the card was damaged.
The packaging was good to be honest I'm just annoyed at the two cards and I also hate the shipping times.
Update: I've now found two cards with damage. One was Patrick van Aaanholt /99 and the other one was a Fabio Borini /99
Massive Shipping Price Hike with No…
Massive Shipping Price Hike with No Communication! It was handled insanely poorly. No advance notice! No email or website flag at the top of Dashboards like every other substantial announcements! No grandfathering for items purchased and holding for shipping as all users do! This is substantial as I had several purchased $1 cards accumulated, and kept buying more with zero notification of the massive 3x price hike.
I called bull on all three issues above. Customer service response 48 hours later showed they didn’t care at all.
I’ve been on CheckOutMyCards for 13 years. Bought and sold tens of thousands of cards. This was the final straw after a few other poorly handled cost increases. This one showed ZERO regard for their users. Again, they handled it sooo poorly.
I paid the $19.50 for basic shipping (not $5.99) and emptied my inventory. Bye, COMC. You’re gross. You're dead to me. Someone needs to be shown the door over this, honestly.
They combined two separate ebay orders
They combined two separate ebay orders. They combined the orders, never notified me and claimed the $130 Ohtani card was present and accounted for with the other card I ordered. It was not, I only received one of the cards. It is an impossible ebay case to prove and win as a buyer under these circumstances. Communication is minimal and meant to pacify me. I wanted to speak to someone, but according to their website, there are no open time slots to talk to someone for over a month.
As a Canadian they inflated my shipment…
As a Canadian they inflated my shipment value so it would be hit with heavy tariff and duty charges hoping I would send my shipment back and they would keep it. I had to contact them constantly to make sure my PSA had come in. Their website is old and outdated and difficult to navigate. Do not use them.
Very happy repeat customer
I have purchased cards from them both directly and through ebay with them as the seller multiple times and have had nothing but great experiences. They provide emails every step of the way with tracking once the items were shipped. I would highly recommend them.
Absolutely dissatisfied and not recommendable
I tested COMC over the past year and absolutely cannot recommend the platform. My cards (worth nearly $1,000) apparently got lost on the way to Italy, and to this day I have not seen them again. While COMC did reimburse me for the value of the cards, I have been trying to cash out my store credit for the past two months – without success. Neither PayPal nor bank transfer has worked so far. And on top of that, they want to take 10% of my money. Are you kidding us? Shame on you.
Trust the low reviews on here
Trust the low reviews on here! I wish I would have read them before trying it out. Very deceptive and customer service is horrible. They don’t have a working phone option, I wonder why? I had a very expensive card come from them heavily damaged in a corner after buying top loaders to try and avoid any damage. They won’t do anything about it even though they have you write down an estimated value for potential reimbursement before shipping in the case of lost stolen or damaged cards. Buyer beware!
Unreliable
Unreliable, "lost" a redemption card that the printed a shipping label for but it never seen the mail, tracking was never activated.
8 months later, they told me it's not their problem, contact upperdeck.
COMC, you passed the buck, shame on you.
Steals money from customers
Steals money from customers. Redemption redeemed in 2012. Purchased from the original seller on COMC in Feb 2024. Went unfulfilled until yesterday, where they stated the following:
"There is no record this item was actually redeemed and over a decade old. Since this was purchased only a year ago I have refunded the purchase price of this item. "
So they held my money for a year and a half for a card they have no record of redeeming. So the original seller paid them to upload it, paid them to redeem it, and COMC not only kept their money without returning their fees, but claim they have no record of it! It took them a year and a half minimum to figure out that they didn't even have a record of this?
This company is actually stealing money from customers. Stealing their time might be even worse. It's shameful that people actually still use this service. As for me I will never again and will continually tell people how much of a scam operation they are.
Who on earth would write to someone "since this was purchased ONLY a year ago", that they are refunding the item based on that. You mean you could've done something other than return the purchase price? Absurd.
