I visited this dental clinic for the second time, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing compared to my first visit.
The cleaning felt rushed and lasted only about 10 minutes. It was rough, leaving my gums irritated, swollen, and painful afterward.
During the appointment, X-rays were taken, but they were never shown to me. I mentioned having two previous root canals and wanted to see how they were doing. I was told that the X-rays were only of the teeth, not the roots. I believe that reviewing X-rays is an important part of understanding overall oral health.
My first visit had been gentle and thorough, so this recent appointment felt lacking in care and attention. I value professionalism and attentive service.

Regarding the X-rays, these are primarily used as a diagnostic and documentation tool to assess the condition of the teeth and the surrounding bone structure. If the X-rays do not reveal any conditions requiring treatment, there is not always a need for further intervention or review; however, we fully understand the desire to gain insight into one’s own oral health.
As for the dental cleaning, there can be several reasons why it may feel more sensitive or uncomfortable, including gum inflammation, increased tartar buildup, or individual variations in how the gums respond. It is never our intention for any treatment to feel rushed or inadequate.
