I received 2 letters this year stating it's time for another Cologard test. My last one was 3 yrs ago. Results were negative. I had a colonoscopy within the past 10 years. Results were negative.... See more

My doctor did NOT SEND OUT THIS TEST
It’s a negative any star my doctor didn’t order this test. They have continuous called me and text me and I told him no and they sent the damn kit anyway. I don’t know how because we have another insurance and I am sending the shit test back and they can shit in it. I am not paying for something that my doctor didn’t order and they continuous call me and text me and I told him no. So if they want to send me this test I will put dog poop in it. The cologaurd is relentless. Do not trust this money hungry company.
Took cologuard test
Took cologuard test. They did not pick it up till next day. Came back positive. Had a colonoscopy. Everything was normal. Several people I work with had the same thing happen. Cologuard needs to re-evaluate their process. Waste of money.
I got my results today..Friday
I got my results today..Friday. Said test was positive. I wrote a message to the "chat" and ask if this meant there was blood...they told me they couldn't discuss results or tell me anything, talk to my Dr she got results...no she didn't. She hadn't seen anything, they close at noon...so now I get to worry myself sick all weekend.
Thanks so much for letting me know results BEFORE my doctor. I don't need this extra stress
I was lied to by a promotion and prompt…
I was lied to by a promotion and prompt to complete the test. I was promised a 25 dollar gift card upon completion. I had to call several times concerning this. I never received the gift card. So yes I'm dissatisfied.
Will continually call and not leave you alone
They sent their kit that I didn't want and had told my MD this. A sub MD didn't see the note, and had one sent. I "returned to sender, I don't want this." They sent it again. Meanwhile they've called multiple times a day, leaving messages to call them. They've also texted and sent USPO mailings. Don't get on their list or you'll never be rid of those stool calls again. Guess they need the money to fund their Cologuard Classic, but STOP CALLING, TEXTING AND MAILING ME!!!
First of all regardless of the results…
First of all regardless of the results you still have to do colonospy! Second I did this test came back positive for o e whole month I stressed this! Today I we t and did my colonospy and I'm negative! For those reading please do t be fooled by this most likely false positive or false negative...Not tensioning received a bill for 670.00 when I have insurance that pays for all!
I never received a report from them
I never received a report from them. They received the specimen 12/5/24 and despite my being online multiple times, I could not find my information. Called today only to be told they emailed me a communication stating they could not use the sample. I informed the rep that I checked my email and do not have anything from them. She stated it was sent via email to me. Apparently she is not aware you can search your email to see when and if it was sent. It wasn't. TERRIBLE SERVICE. They did offer to send another kit. But at whose expense. I have different insurance and doctor.
I received a false positive result from…
I received a false positive result from my text and had to get a complete colonoscopy. The result of this was negative! The cologuard text caused me to get an unnecessary $11,000 test!
Never again for me. This text is ridiculous!
INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL
INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL. My Dr. requested this test for me supposedly on or around Dec. 11, 2024, which was my last appointment at her office. This company called 1-4-2025, which I declined and again on 1-8-2025, which I answered. After being on hold for over 3 minutes and having to verify my DOB on the phone, someone finally got on the phone with me. He had a very very strong accent that I could barely understand. He went on to say that he got a test request from my Dr. and that there was a problem with some number that she put down. I said "well call and ask her"! Why are you calling me?" He then went on to say, unfortunately......and I cut him off, told him that I had to wait on hold, verify my dob on the phone to find out that you want me to do the work for you? I'm sure it's because of the wait time to speak to someone at my health providers office, since I've waited anywhere from 15-20 minutes to over 4 hours. Well too bad, Cologuard has to wait too. I definitely will NOT be using this company after my own experience and reading all the negative comments. I know it's not just me that has run into problems with them.
I took the cologuard test in August…
I took the cologuard test in August 2022 as a 55 yr old man , no health issues , test came negative so no worries . January 2023 , I fell off a ladder from a decent height and broke my hip / pelvic bone , hospital did a catscan / mri to see if any other trauma , found 4.5 cm mass in my colon , was stage 3 ,, if hadn’t broken my hip never would have known I had cancer since this test said I was negative , luckily I had a great cancer doctor and surgeon and now 2 years later I’m cancer free and alive
Don’t want to think about what if I hadn’t fallen and trusted this test where would I be
I have asked for help and no answer…
I have asked for help and no answer refuse to help me I rate colaguard a 1 star
Horrible test.
This test should be pulled of the market. After false positive test Cologuard, the colonoscopy was negative. It took almost a 6 months agony until the colonoscopy was complete. Do not trust this test. It’s a horrible lie and you pay high price.
Product should be pulled off the market…
This product should be pulled off the market. Had the most miserable experience of my life with an absolutely HELLACIOUS prep process for a colonoscopy, because of a FALSE POSITIVE from this bunch of quacks. Colonoscopy was negative.
It also took Cologuard almost 3 months to notify me of test results. Three. Months. B/c they sent the info. to the WRONG DOCTOR!
Bonus points: Billing switched from "screening" to "diagnostic" due to Cologuard "positive." Cost me $454 "co-pay" for a procedure I didn't need.
If I could give a product a negative rating, Cologuard would be it. Stay as far away from this bogus product as you can. NEVER AGAIN!
All False Positives
Because of Cologuard false positive, I had to go through a horrible prep that caused 24 pills to sit in my stomach for 15 hrs due to my gastroparesis & dr could only see 40% of my colon which showed 0, nothing. They want me to do a 2 day prep now & come back, which I refuse & pay another $225. Not doing it! I should’ve known better than to do your test. My last test in 2014 was fine. I should’ve just left it at that & never had any other test done! I’ve been sick for 3 days & out of work for 2 days. So I’ve lost $225 + 2 days pay because of your cologuard test!
Questions Answered Quickly
The actual person I spoke with was well educated concerning the Cologuard test. Questions answered in only a few minutes time. I was given Informative and concise information that is appreciated.
Unfortunately, it took over 10 minutes to speak to an actual person. I listened to extensive, repetitive unwanted, long "offers". This is regrettable as the Cologuard test is simple with clear directions and follow through in returning. If not for the "offers" this would easily be a
five-star review.
They were supposed to have UPS pick up…
They were supposed to have UPS pick up my test kit and sent me a confirmation number but UPS still has not come for it so I called Cologuard. The woman I spoke to practically called me a liar and said there was no pickup. I hung up on her and called back. The next woman found my confirmation number and said it might be 9:00pm before UPS came. I am still waiting
but will probably have to take it to UPS myself. Next time my Doctor wants a test he can refer me to another company. They need to talk to some of their employees about rudeness.
Worse nags ever
They will nag you daily to complete the test. Email, text, phone. Asking them to stop doesn't help. They apparently think they are my mother and it's OK to treat me like a 10 year old.
This has been a constant headache from…
This has been a constant headache from the start way back in August until now in November Fist test ordered in November done the test sent in couldn’t be read . Did a second test after I came back from a vacation in September sent out. Now it’s November no results for doctor or me now they want to do another one I ask for results of last one they state I have to request the results this is just stupid hope to hell the results are neg they said they sent results to my dr we shall what a circus e act science is
Cologuard continues to send…
Cologuard continues to send unsuspecting people a Cologuard test kit to their home.
The test kit I received today was never ordered by my health care provider or my current insurance company.
The test kit was delivered by UPS.
When I called the Cologuard "customer service line", I was told no information would be provided until I gave them identifiers to include DOB, email, and more.
The rep stated the information I requested was "HIPAA protected".
Which is a true fact, except that I was calling about an unexpected package for a medical procedure that had been delivered to me today.
The UPS tracking label bearing my name and address is not HIPPA protected. A corporation sending out test kits for patient medical procedures should be able to track their deliveries and determine the destiny of any package by the UPS tracking number.
The Cologuard rep refused to accept the UPS tracking number and refused to provide ANY relevant information until I provided him with HIPAA protected information.
I disconnected the call.
Then I began to research the company only to find a high number of complaints on numerous sites, class action lawsuits won against the company, and more than I have time to review.
If you receive any unsolicited Cologuard test kit, treat it as you would a bomb. Report it to authorities. Inform your insurance company. If you contact the sender, do not provide them with any information beyond what is on the label of their delivery and record/document EVERYTHING.
They are continuing a FEDERAL LEVEL scam on people and likely doing so with previously hacked data.
A Scam and Nothing More
I regret getting the ColoGuard test. On their site they admit they have false positives and negatives. I also learned from my insurance company that because I did a ColoGuard test, I am precluded from receiving a covered Colonoscopy (or any colon screening) for 10 years, which means I have to pay out of pocket (whether a test is positive or negative) ColoGuard insists that if a test comes back positive, that a Colonoscopy should also be covered but that's up to insurance companies and not ColoGuard. IMO, ColoGuard provides no benefits to consumers other than the idea that they can get screened in lieu of a Colonoscopy--when in reality, ColoGuard exists to help insurance companies--because this cheap test takes the place of more serious colon cancer screening. It's yet another scam and I am sure the people behind it are laughing all the way to the bank despite causing serious harm to consumers.
