I wrote a review earlier about my initial experience on my moving out process but wanted to correct my review. After all, the moving process was good the process was faster than I expected. The movers were also super friendly and careful with all items. I thought it would take what the cap off hours were which was 3 hours with as much as I had for the move. When I first talked to company there were times that communication was missed, and information wasn’t updated on reschedule of move time.I addressed the situation through all via communications and they did eventually reach out to me and confirmed rescheduled time for move and did a good job with move overall.

My move was mismanaged from the start. The crew I was promised was not the crew that was sent. I later learned that the driver was hired on the spot the morning of my move and had never worked for the company previously. I was told that the other driver had called in sick, only to find out the truth later, that he had quit due to issues with management. The crew ignored my suggestion that the driveway at the destination would be difficult to maneuver. Instead of walking the driveway first to ensure they took the right angles, they instead managed to get the truck stuck, and caused damage to my neighbor’s fence. A tow truck was required to pull them out. They then proceeded to get a second smaller truck stuck also requiring a tow truck. This led to an overnight stay for a move that should have taken 8 hours. I was forced to pay for the additional costs because they refused to unload my belongings without me paying for tow trucks, extra labor hours, and an overnight stay in a hotel. All of which were caused by their mistakes. However, the biggest issue was that management refused to talk with me during the entire ordeal. I finally received a call from management the next day. I requested to be refunded the additional costs that were incurred because of their mistakes. I was told he would discuss it with the owner and I would be contacted the next day at Noon. For weeks I attempted to contact the manager and the owner/CEO. Another commitment via Linkedin messaging from the CEO went unfulfilled. Countless voicemails and messages have been left but with no response. Leadership starts from the top, and this company’s highest levels of leadership all the way down to the first line leadership failed in my experience. I recommend finding a different company to help you with your move.

Poor service !!! Most of the good reviews that you see are all fake/paid for.. I know because I know people who work there ! This is a horrible moving company you try to support people based off of relation and they just let you down!! It really sucks. The staff are untrained young “professionals” with no experience at all..getting paid at low rates.. this company literally hires people off of the street with NO EXPERIENCE! if you are looking for a good moving company run as fast as you can because they will only Jack up the price and destroy your furniture.

College Dudes moved me from Charlotte to Atlanta. They took great care of my stuff and put blankets over everything to make sure that it was protected. Had the best rate in Charlotte for long-distance moving

This company is a ripoff. Unprofessional scammers. They're not accredited with the BBB nor are they on Angie's list. Please read all reviews on every website.

Unorganized and inept. Movers showed up with inexperienced employees some only 16 years of age. They started out by damaging a tree in the front yard. They Did not have the necessary tools and equipment to perform the move. They proceed to damage our home and at least 80% of our furniture while loading, transporting, and unloading. Some of the furniture is antiques and family heirlooms that were damaged beyond repair and cannot be replaced. A lot of the associated hardware was lost or found rolling around the cargo area of the trucks. The movers were rude and inconsiderate. Some were laughing as my wife wept. The only response from the company was file a claim. I have contacted the North Carolina Utilities Commission / Transportation Rates Division. I was informed that College Dudes Help U Move is not authorize for digital contracts which was what was present to us for authorization in order to have our furniture unloaded. I never actually saw a contract at the time of requested signatures. They also billed at an hourly rate. The rate should have been by weight and distance. They are not accredited by the BBB.

College Dudes Help U Move did a 5 bedroom move for us. They were efficient and hardworking. They packed up all of my belongings and didn't break anything, which is surprising because I have a lot of stuff

I cannot begin to tell you how disgusted I am with my experience with your moving company. I had been so certainly MightyPricey Movers would provide me with reliable, top-of-the-line service while respecting my time and personal property.
To begin with, while we had agreed on a arrival time of 12 pm your staff instead arrived at 4:15 . But of even greater concern, several of my personal belongings were damaged while I was unpacking. Besides monetary losses due to damages, some of these items had sentimental value and are irreplaceable. Since the truck did not make in time to drop off items that were supposed to go in to storage, I encounter additional expenses as I needed to rent another truck to take the items that I was putting in storage.
This experience added unnecessary stress to what I hoped, given your high fees compared to other moving companies, would be a smooth move from an apartment to my home in Charlotte. I paid extra for your "White Glove" service and I am simply heartbroken.
I was initially told the fee was $140 an hour and the day off you the fee was changed to $150. This is how customers are treated at this company! I couldn't turn the apartment keys at the time I was suppposed to and that was also an extra charge.
I DO NOT recommend College Dudes, they do not care about the customer nor do they have any integrity, nor are they reliable and professional.

For sure recommend this company over any other. They were on time, prompt, professional, and priced within my budget

The team I had was amazing!!! all of them were very efficient and had impressive skills loading the truck. Would definitely recommend them if you're looking to move.

College Dudes Help U Move took great care of all my very heavy furniture, They wrapped everything and were priced well
