I can't think of a better use of an hour a day classtime for a highschool freshman than leaning JAVA coding. The curriculum is great. Covers the essential topics. Programs are solid as homework to learn the materials. Teacher is available for tutorial if needed. Daily quizzes test for the grasp of material. Well done!

Don’t get me wrong—CodeWizards offers a solid platform for learning how to code, and their structured classes can be helpful for some students. However, the pricing is where things fall apart.
Let’s talk specifically about their classes for elementary school students. Charging $500 per course for Scratch block coding is, frankly, excessive. Block-based coding like Scratch is designed to be intuitive and beginner-friendly—it’s something many kids can pick up for free using countless online resources, tutorials, and platforms.
While structured learning and teacher support are valuable, the steep price tag just doesn’t reflect the simplicity of the material being taught. For $500, you’d expect more advanced content, personalized support, or long-term access to resources—not just a few sessions of drag-and-drop programming.

Patience and positive interactions from the instructors. Small classroom size enabled attentive and quality response from instructor to student! My kid thoroughly loved the course!

My son explored many free/ other paid courses but none of those never piqued his interest. He is liking the small class setting and enjoys being in Ms. Zahria Thomas’s class so much that he wants to continue with the next courses.

Smooth operation! My son is learning at a good pace, and the flexibility in catching up after missing a class due to conflicts is very helpful.

My son has loved learning to code. The elementary school level has introduced him to website design, python, and more. The instructors are encouraging and knowledgeable. The classes are small, and he gets lots of individual attention. He is proud to show us what he has coded each week and also spends time coding outside of his assigned homework.

I do not recommend code wizard HQ! We signed my son up for a intro coding class. Then Instructor refused to answer any questions during class. He was told to wait after class but when it was time to end that Instructor rushed off the video call and stated he would need to wait till the next class to ask. This happened for 4-5 classes. to properly learn coding the material builds on each other so once my son fell behind it became very difficult for him to catch up. He was very stressed and sad that he was not getting the help. I reached out to Code Wizard HQ to express my concern and their response is will give you a discount for the next class. Pretty much not taking responsibility or doing anything different. There are many coding schools out there. I would recommend looking for another one!

It used to be good but currently they decided that you have to pay for the whole block in advance which is over 400 usd. You can pay in instalments but not if you are not usa resident . What a joke, seriously, my son spent several years completing the course one by one but now if he not pay in advance he is not allowed to. Absolute not fair for loyal customers. Joke

This program has given my son the skills he needs to begin developing his own programs. After only his 2nd full course, he was able to build a basic page on a subject of interest to him.

Dear Code Wizard HQ Team,
I have been a loyal customer of Code Wizard HQ for several years, and my daughter, Olivia, has thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from your programming courses. She recently completed the Capstone 1 course and, given her budding interest in Java from her school curriculum, we were eager to enroll her in the "Introduction to Java" course offered by your esteemed institution.
However, we were disheartened by the lack of support and flexibility in accommodating her progression to this next level. Despite her keen interest and the foundational skills she has built through your programs, the response we received felt dismissive, almost as if her potential to succeed in this course was underestimated.
This experience has been quite disappointing for us. Olivia's enthusiasm for learning programming was significantly nurtured by your courses, and it's disheartening to see this roadblock at a crucial point in her educational journey. It seems the focus may have shifted from fostering student growth to other priorities.
We had expected more supportive guidance and customer care from an organization of your reputation, especially given our long-standing relationship. I hope this feedback will prompt a reconsideration of how student transitions are handled in the future.
Sincerely,
Robert Tabinowski
