Have you met anyone who got a job after this?

Have you met anyone who got a job off the back of this course? No, they don't exist.
Frankly "Update your linkedin" is not the sort of help I hoped for in finding a job. Also, all junior positions seem to want 2-3 years experiences.
The job of 20 developers can be done by one person and Ai now, so this is a dead industry except for really experienced people.

AOVID

AOVID! 6,000euro the price for this course does not reflect the quality of outcome. Lesson videos are 4 or 5 years old. Students only get surface level education. Projects are developed on existing templates, the education is not enough to deviate from the template, there is no debug/code assistance other than 'check the template'. You can get a better education for free via Harvard CS50 - I was able to complete CS50 in the time it took CI to mark my final projects.

Projects are a pass fail marking system with 3 attempts. It seems designed to filter people out from completing the course. I suspect because they offer job placement help, fewer that finish fewer jobs they need to find.

Dreadful course for beginners

Dreadful course for beginners! Avoid at all costs! Your better off using Udemy or Codecademy if your a beginner. This is way too fast paced and no literature if you’re doing the 5 day taster. You need to have basic knowledge before you start

The program presentation is explicit

FIVE DAY CODING CHALLENGE
The program presentation is explicit and hand-on. Every challenge finished, sparked my motivation and zeal to continue going.
I am zealous to continue and develop in this direction.
Thank so much Mr Brian O. Grady. Your soft and simple communication from day1 to day5 enable fast understanding of complex concepts.
I was very happy when I finished with the last challenge on applying JavaScript to Recipe on how to make tea.
The syllabus build up from day1 to day5 is top notch.

A Python-focused Intro to Data Analytics

A reasonably easy to follow introduction to data analytics, mostly an introduction to Python. If you’re looking for a career where this could be useful, it’s worth a go.

Interface slightly confusing, as exercises don’t always work in successive cells, but it’s a good jumping-off point.

Good start

The lessons were explained well and not too long so that attention was not lost. The exercises made sense to what was taught.

The hook is good

The hook is good, but what am I really learning? I am an unexperienced in coding candidate looking to see if I like coding or not. The videos whilst well presented and clearly spoken did not spend enough time teaching the detail that is then presented in test, so therefore I had to keep falling back - this is in part why I fell behind on the days. However, this changed in day 4, it was much more explicit, and relevant to the tests presented.

Complete scam

I have very bad experience with this place. I tried the course in 2023 and was unable to cancel it. When you call the phone number, it says all agents are busy. Even if you call at night or during the weekend. I tried calling for almost 3 years and same story. 90% of emails are ignored. They charge money illegally as you do not sign up for direct debit yourself. They use your IBAN to charge money whenever they wish. I am not able to keep money in my bank since 2023 as I won't be paying for something I only did for a week and was qualifying for cooling off period to withdraw without penalty. I lost over 2000e already and they just end up sending debt collector at me, but next step is to sue them and end this scam.

Don't fall for 4.4 stars. Nearly all are for people who did 5 day course which is completely free. Once you start that course, you have no way out.

Money mungers

Money mungers. I applied to the course a couple of years back. All was prerecorded and there was little to no support. If you decide not to continue with their terrible course content, they'll sell your credit. I can't wait for this shraid to end.☠️

I used this as a refresher for HTML

I used this as a refresher for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The daily bitesized learning was easy to follow, and the daily coding challenges were fun and engaging. This would be a great introduction to the subject for beginners.

I was always terrible at code in school, but this website builds on skill to ensure that you learn code in an easy and really fun way.

Not great for a career change

Not great for a career change. I completed their Diploma in Full-Stack Software Development. While the course was good, well structured and easy to learn with great tutor and community support. Unfortunately there is very little support for actually getting a job after you have finished, they do a CV review and post available jobs but nothing beyond what you can find on any job board. Honestly it would have been better to stick with free or cheaper course on udemy/codecademy or just youtube. You have access to the community for a while after you finish but eventually that also gets cut off.

The course was clearly structured

The course was clearly structured, learnt a lot in short amount of time. Love how it was sectioned accordingly to what I learnt previously. Quick and efficient feedbacks as well as getting the certificate was so convenient. I got my certificate instantly and the staff is empathetic and gave me extension on my course since I wasn’t able to complete it on time.
