Dispute still hanging many days after...

I bought something by mistake, I did not download it, the lame author refused a refund (really??) and I immediately asked for a refund by opening a dispute and all these have been done in one hour after buying! Now almost a week later they are still investigating! I am very disappointed. The quality of plugins is great if you make the appropriate investigation and you cannot blame Codecanyon for that. I love they are there to find all these authors with some great works, but they do not have good and timely support.

SCAMMERS

Many plugins are not what they promise or do not have enough quality. Some authors do not respond to you and invite you to pay a fee for support. When you write a negative review of the item, IT WILL BE DELETED IF I TELL YOU ANYTHING!
If you claim, they never give you back the money and if you claim through Paypal, THE ACCOUNT WILL BE DELETED. Be very careful with these scammers.

Never buy from them!

Locked me out of my account for commenting on an author page that his app was outdated and if he wasn't prepared to update it, I'd be willing to do it for free for anyone. Had bought more than 100 items from them. Now I've lost everything because of a comment and they won't let me back in even after contacting support and explaining everything!

You can't blame CodeCanyon for faulty…

You can't blame CodeCanyon for faulty scripts, yes many scripts may have bugs but it isn't codecanyon's duty to ensure the script runs smoothly, rather investigate the company from which the script belongs, and read honest reviews about that company.

Awful

Awful, they can and will remove your purchases from the downloads area at any time. I PAID to OWN the product, you should not be allowed to take it away from me unless you also refund my money! Stay away!

bad company. dont trust him.

bad software. bad support from programmers. bad programmers are protected by envato. money is not refunded. problems are not fixed. the most rudimentary functions sometimes do not work. i wonder when the press will finally deal with this company. obviously they have probably cracked the billion.

They hide negative reviews and don't give refunds

If you post a negative review of a plugin, you'll probably never see that review again. They just don't post it. And if you ever need a refund for a bad plugin, too bad, you won't get it. The plugins on CodeCanyon may seem like a good deal, but when only 1 out of 3 ends up being usable, you wind up spending more money than you would have buying from reputable sources that have fair money-back guarantees.

Great platform but no support from them whatsoever when things go wrong

I purchased a WordPress plugin which is not working properly, support page is broken and all emails to the author have gone ignored.

I emailed the codecanyon team twice for a refund, no reply to either in 8 days.

I've raised a paypal dispute to get my funds back for this transaction, but they've locked my account and cancelled every licence i ever purchased from them. This is the 1st time i've ever had an issue but the aftercare is <1*.

If your happy to risk plugins not working and the code canyon team not helping when they do then the platform is fine, but don't expect any help from them if you need it.

FYI - I've been a loyal customer for years, but I won't use again unless they can help me get my refund and unlock my account.

If you care about your money, DONT BOTHER.

This company puts you in checkmate when it comes to getting help.

Recently purchased a social network script oobeenn. I also own every other social network.

I can downaload all social networks and unzip them apart from oobeenn <—- it’s that simple.

I have to create a directory and then unzip it using the command line, onto my desktopwhich nobody at codecanyon or oobeenn seem to understand in a simple way.

I try to install and it sits there for days <—— that is also quiete simple to understand.

ITS THE ONLY SOCIAL NETWORK THAT HAS THIS ISSUE.

Now having clearly stated it’s the only social network. I have opened several tickets with the owner who has asked me to contact codecanyon.

I contacted code canyon and they can not help. So I have two people that can not explain to me what is happening or why, the only excuse they have is “it’s your MacBook” but they are clearly forgettting I CAN DOWNLOAD UNZIP AND INSTALL EVERY OTHER SOCIAL NETWORK. <—— that’s as plain as I can put it.

Unfortunately in these circumstances, not providing help or not knowing about the software you provide on your platform is not how we go about business in any country, we have specific laws regarding consumer rights that have clearly been breached.

Selling a faulty product that doesn’t work is against the law. The law are also required to act on this.

scripts from DoughouzForest are scam they do not help you in any way
Are you thinking to purchase php script? How is Codecanyon? Look at this opinion before you make any purchase. Very Dangerous Fraud! Don't buy from them. Most of the scripts are full of bug. There are few good sellers but most of them are fraud. They put anything, sell to you and both Codecanyon and the author make money from and finish. No dispute, no support, No refund. Dangerous! DON"T BUY FROM THEM.

Scam

I bought a wordpress plugin from them, and less than 50% of the features even work. The plugin is a hot mess and basically unusable. They will not reply about a refund. I will get my credit card company involved if I have to.

Rip off service - do not use!!

Don't purchase from these cretins. They are bad news!! Got ripped off $30 US for a plugin *Page Loader by Bonfire Themes* that was buggy on my theme. Getting a refund is near impossible and they side with the author and not the purchaser. They deleted my comments from the support comments and deleted my review to cover their tracks. Luckily I paid with Paypal so have some protection. When lodging a Paypal dispute against Cash Chasm:-) they inform you that lodging this dispute will result in your Cash Chasm account being closed as a result of the dispute (All good, I will never be purchasing with them again)... Enjoy the $30 USD Code Chasm:-), it will be the last cent I spend with your shady ripoff service that seemingly operates in violation of consumer law.
