OOP promises stalled; weeks without safe sleep after collapse
I bought a Coaster bed (via Wayfair). The frame collapsed (~June 12, 2025) under normal use. I’m disabled and went weeks without a safe bed. In Aug 2025, Coaster confirmed it would cover assembly ($159), replacement mattress ($1,502.70), and frame removal ($60) and said it was “working with Wayfair” on reimbursement timing. I asked to add $650 for home-care/cleanup caused by the collapse. Since then, the process has dragged and costs continued while I lacked safe sleep. Coaster should complete the OOP reimbursement promptly, confirm its insurer/adjuster, and preserve design/quality/communication records for the product line. (I have emails confirming the three OOP items and the Wayfair coordination.)
