Dear Cmxsc team

Dear Cmxsc team, thank you for running camp at Mildmay primary school my grandchildren have attended and have had a lovely time. The team have always made them feel welcome. They enjoy all the activities and always speak positively about how much fun they have had and friends they have made.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so pleased to hear that your grandchildren enjoyed their time with us at Mildmay Primary School.

It means alot to know they felt welcomed by our team, enjoyed the activites, made friends and came home speaking so positively about camp. We love creating a safe, fun and active space where children feel happy and included.

Not great quality offerring

School club offering was reduced from daily to 2x week then to nothing forcing parents to book the more expensive wraparound when not needed.
The clubs were never great - cookery they generally just decorated biscuits and there was rarely anything properly described as cookery but at least there was an activity.
I use them because I need to but wouldn’t choose to.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you are disappointed.

Decisions around after-school club provision are made based on several factors including participation levels, staffing, and ensuring we can deliver sessions to the high standard we expect. These decisions are never made lightly or solely for profit, but to ensure we continue providing safe, high-quality provision for children.

We understand that changes to provision may not suit all families, and we always aim to communicate updates where possible and work closely with schools to keep information accurate.

We value all feedback and continually review our services to best support families and schools.

We are deeply concerned about the…

We are deeply concerned about the treatment of our SEN son here. He was reportedly shamed for his traits and labeled as 'behaviour'. Unlike his previous club of 2 years where he and others had no issues, our experience here has been troubling.

The owner, hasn't provided a clear reason for a decision and sent a conflicting email without explanation, which is distressing for our son who keeps asking why.

Our SARs requests has not had a read receipt, consistent with the owner verbally stating he wouldn't discuss it further then not replying to a simple clarification question of did he write the exclusion letter as it was signed off TEAM? Thus backing up his shut down on the matter. When asking for SARs initially he stated 'what you are referring to in your line of work doesn't always translate to every other line of work. What you do in your field, what I do in my field is going to be different.'

We are denied access to crucial footage for a third-party review, which is alarming, especially given talk of deletion while a third-party review is pending. Deleting this could be seen as spoliation, and we have formally requested preservation of all footage from April 24th and 25th, 2025, for transparency. Update been allowed 30 days extension but for court only so still need third-party access to gain what happened that a child with no previous issues suddenly gets removed as call cited minor issues.

We are seriously concerned about the resistance to providing all footage to a third-party.

We often felt minor childhood behaviours were unfairly criticized, raising questions about their understanding of children in general let alone SEN needs. Our 10-year-old was very upset by the sudden ban. We specifically need the footage showing our sons distress.

The "Terms and Conditions" discussion felt unusual, and their own TCs don't seem to have been consistently followed.

This situation has caused our family significant stress, impacted university commitments, and resulted in financial and emotional strain.

This is an experience at a Braintree Wraparound, so im sure others are fine.

If anyone else has had a similar experience, please reach out.

Extremely happy child

My Daughter loves the half term active camps that are available at CMXSC, staff are organised and very professional and focus on any childs needs.

You can get a sense almost immediately that it’s an extremely well run business,
I will not hesitate to send my daughter back for more fun active clubs which she continuously tells me about in the car on way home….. 😂

Amazing holiday club, great coaches.

My son (now 6) has been attending CMXSC holiday clubs for a year now during each half term. I honestly can't say enough good things about Coach Chris, Coach Dan, Coach Sam, Coach Saff, Coach Amy and all the Coaches at CMXSC who strive to make every child feel welcome and comfortable and put both children and parent's minds at ease that their child is being cared for and has fun while at the holiday clubs. The Coaches quickly learn the children's names and learn something about them to help make the child feel at ease and they remember my son when he comes back for the next half term. It's the little things like that which make such a big difference in a child's happiness. There is something for everyone plenty of sports including football, tennis, dodgeball, gymnastics and themed days of laser tag or nurf fun for the more active children but also arts and crafts for the children who prefer more creative play. My son has always struggled attending new places which in turn worries me but CMXSC have such an amazing rapport with the children that he loves going to holiday club and my worries are quickly alieviated when I see how happy he is. Even today on his arrival at club, he told the coaches about his tooth falling out this morning and they gave him a big cheer which in turn put the biggest smil on my son's face. After a bad experience at another holiday club, this is the only one I will use now. A big thank you to all the team at CMXSC.
