From initial enquiry to delivery of tutoring, the staff are polite, respectful and knowledgeable about the issues my daughter struggles with. Her tutor is patient and understanding and my daughter perseveres with challenging topics because she’s having fun. This is a fantastic program and I highly recommend giving Cluey a try.
Fed up with lack of human contact. Happened on 2 separate occasions now wasted half an hr both times got no where.

We have found Cluey's virtual classroom very convenient. My son has aspirations for a career in a maths orientated occupation. Half way through year 10 now, we are wanting to ensure he is prepared for year 11 and the HSC.
The tutor we have is amazing. But everything else is beyond appalling. It is impossible to talk to a human being regarding technical or financial issues. That is, unless you give them a bad review and then they try to resolve the issue. But even then, it becomes problematic, and it becomes obvious that management is dishonest. In my case they have helped themselves to my credit card, as I have ‘paid’ for far more sessions than have been completed.
I had a bad time trying to get one of my grandsons to link in with Cluey for his first tutorial. Despite multiple phone calls and emails seeking help, we could not get help from a human being and went around in an AI generated loop of unhelpfulness.
I then gave them a bad review and they responded and seemed to resolve the issue. They even promised a free tutorial to make up for the one they did not provide sufficient help for. This did not happen; in fact it looks like they have double dipped into my credit card.
Before I became aware of the overcharging, I thought things were going well and my grandson likes his tutor. So, I then decided to get my second grandson tuition. But once again things rapidly went wrong even though they took my money. They have not responded to phone calls or emails, and we just do the AI loop-the-loop.
So, I will now report this to Consumer Protection.

My son loves Cluey 1-1 tutoring services.
The tutors also focus on what his weaknesses is and how he can improve better.
It's been an amazing journey so far
Do not use this company. Taken money and I have no access to any system. Been calling, emailing, messaging with not a single reply for 3 days. Have not had 1 session yet but they are taking weekly payments I did not authorise or sign up for. Total scam.

Appalling service, only gave 1 star as I had to select one. The tutor we had for our son for half a session was fine, besides that there was no positives to take away. Only thing they done right was take out payments. I spent over 3 hours on hold, was hung up on 6 times. Only way I got to talk to someone was to enrol a fake child. They were happy to call for new clients but ignored a paying customer. When we did speak to a real person we cancelled our session, I was still charged for this. The person we spoke to didn't know the customer support number, the email address online bounced back advising it has been unmonitored since February 2023. I spent 2 hours on hold today to get a fund and to cancel all upcoming sessions. I still haven't received any replies from the multiple emails I sent to the Administration email, which was the only email address I could find that didn't bounce back.

My daughter worked as a tutor here. They take advantage of the tutors by paying them minimum wage, but Cluey charges the parents of the students top dollar.
Most tutors are inexperienced university students and they get no training or support from Cluey. They can't even call Cluey or get hold of them if they get sick.
Cluey has constant IT issues so it looks like the tutor or student didn't show up even though they are both waiting but it won't connect them. She was really stressed out by the IT issues and not getting paid when students cancel. Most tutors last only 2 months.
They need to learn to pay their tutors or they won't have any left.

Rubbish company.
I had tuition on Thursday 11th July but it was not done. This is because:
I got in my Cluey Hub at 5:30pm. and waited around 10 mins for my tutor. As she didn’t come, I contacted cluey Live Chat.
It was a slow response, so I tried calling, and no one was answering. I told them on the live chat, they said my tutor came, so when I refreshed my page, I saw my tutor, I spoke to her, but she couldn’t hear me, and she mentioned that she will disconnect it and that I will do the same.
It's 5:45pm. When I go back, after it has been loading for a long time, it shows “Still waiting for the tutor”. So, I waited for a bit and refreshed my page again. After that, I opened it again, but it was not letting me go into my session.
I called for a technical issue, and they sent me a link for a cluey live chat. I told them my problem, and they said If I would like to reschedule, I said yes." They didn’t get back to me, so I tried calling from my number, but they didn’t answer, so I tried with another phone, and they answered asap.
My dad further spoke to them, the worker named "Ronald." But they have said that the technical support will call my dad, when the technical support called my dad, they were blaming that there is a problem from my side in a rude way, when my dad was clarifying him, but then he cut the call. We called back so many times, but no one answered.
Everything was recorded, and I have proof for everything.
But overall, I want my Thursday 11th July session to be refunded (NOT CREDITED) because I am stopping with Cluey.
If you view my complaint history, you could see it has been emailed about these issues many times, but still not solved. From this, I am behind in my education, from your fault. I am in year 12, and I need to do my HSC. Can the Cluey boss/manager come to my school and explain why I am behind on my maths studies?
NO BECUASE THE OWNER IS A COWARD
I wanted to stop my lesson from: MON, 12 AUG 2024, but they cancelled all the lesson, even for the 5 lessons that I have paid. Total of $350. I told them I still wanted to attend my lessons as I emailed them before they cancelled all my sessions. They mentioned, "Sorry we didn't see your email, so we cancelled all your lessons."
They agreed to refund $350 stated by Gladys, but 1 day later, they said they would refund $280. I asked why, and they were full-on arguing and not replying to my question. I told them to send my invoices, but they didn't, but they cut the line. Now they have me blocked. The worker's name was Marilou.
They are all SCAM, when you have a good tutor, they will take them away and replace it with a bad one. The tutors don't show up, and the company never notifies you. And I won't agree to refund your money.
And if this is not solved, I will take legal action against you at any cost.
I have a list of complaints, but they did NOT get back to me.
Cluey company is a scam.

My daughter seems to be engaging really well with her tutor and is enthusiastic about her sessions.
I've enjoyed our experience except for the fact that all communication to cluey has to be done via chat boxes on the hub - I would really prefer there was a phone number where we can easily connect with a person for when unexpected issues occur. Most especially because I am not home when my daughter is booked and she is not confident with her typing skills yet.
At first I had some hesitations in enrolling my son as I preferred individual face-to-face tutoring services. However after a few sessions, I realized that there really isn't that much difference at all. Sessions are conducted via videoconferencing and they make use of interactive learning support tools such as whiteboards. Sessions are also recorded so kids can play back the recording to review what they have learned and as a parent, you also get a chance to validate their learning. All in all, I think that this type of online tutoring is even better than the traditional face-to-face sessions. So yes, I highly recommend this service!
Cluey has been a brilliant experience and choice for my family, it’s simple to use, efficient and has been a great tool for us.
I wish there was more reliability among some of the tutors, however we have had a good experience so far.
Very disappointed with requesting tutor change. Current tutor allocated had description with limited information to gauge Year 11 Maths Methods teaching skills. There is no review from other parents on the tutor performance.
I am still waiting for a tutor change. Had been on email exchanges for the last 4 days and still no resolution.

I am so disappointed, we have been trying to contact the company with issues and all phone calls lead to an automated voice that tells us to go on our Cluey hub!!! I would if they had given us full access to it, we can’t get onto Cluey Hub to see all our links that’s why we are calling. Just keeps going around in circles. Sooo frustrated

Worst company to deal with . When signing up quite happy to take phone calls and speak , wasn’t the program I signed up for, no flexibility and wanting push rather than cancelling a session to re book. Now refusing pay what is owed to me .Worst company to deal with and very poor service . Quite happy to hide behind keyboards and avoid talking to paying customers .

My son has done the first three lessons with Cluey and he found the tutor very helpful and the resources and practice exercises a great tool to keep learning outside the lesson. As a parent, I found the system easy to use and access to learn more about how he is going week by week. Overall, I am very satisfied with Cluey Learning.
It's very hard to communicate poor service

Scammers! Avoid at all costs. Will take your non-refundable money. Run by a call centre overseas. Links and passwords don’t work. Will keep you on the phone in an automated loop. This is not an Australian business. Beware!

I started using Cluey Learning 3 years ago. If there was an issue you spoke to a person and it was resolved. People have now been replaced by an automated call system that sends you on a loop directed to their Hub.
The Cluey Learning Hub is not capable of thinking independently and can't resolve complex issues and neither can the online chat system. If you have dealt with Australia Post's automated call system recently, this is how Cluey Learning functions now. So if you enjoy dealing with Australia Post you will love calling Cluey Learning and going on a continual loop when all you really need is to speak to a person and achieve a good resolution.
Cluey Learning also owes me at least 6 tutoring lessons that had to be cancelled due to the tutor being unavailable. Cluey is happy to debit the account 2 weeks prior to designated lesson but takes months and/or weeks to credit the account. Some credits have still not hit the account from the beginning of this year. Numerous emails and texts messages to Cluey Learning and the Accounts Dept go nowhere.
For the 3 years at Cluey Learning my request has always been for a skilled teacher to tutor my child, if that teacher is unavailable don't assign me a Uni student that I have not agreed on and expect me to pay for Cluey Learnings lack of resources. Is 3 years not enough to get it right?
Cluey Learning tutors do not offer any support in between tutoring sessions. Other Tutoring Services offer students the ability to email their tutors in between tutoring sessions regarding assessments, exams and homework, Cluey Learning does not allow you to contact your tutor outside your tutoring time slot. If you email the tutor via the Hub it is either disregarded or not passed onto the tutor.
It would seem that Cluey Learning's primary objective is to increase their profits at the expense of educating the leaders of tomorrow. I cancelled my enrolment today via the Cluey Hub as I do not support this tutoring platform.
If you want to build your child's confidence or excel in a particular subject do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

I don't recommend this tutoring. I have enough fund in my account but always receive payment failure messages, as well they cancel the lesson on the day of the class. The tutors are getting changed very often.
Please rethink before you enroll your child.
