Climpson & Sons Reviews 

I had high expectations for Climpson & Sons based on all the great reviews, but my experience was a bit mixed. The coffee itself was good-smooth and well balanced, but I found the service to be a little underwhelming. The staff seemed rushed and not very engaging, which took me away from the overall experience.
The atmosphere is nice, but the seating is quite limited, so it can feel a bit cramped, especially during busy hours. I wouldn't say it's a bad spot by any means, but I was hoping for a more welcoming vibe. I might give it another try on a quieter day.

Order 300 filters, they send me 50. I send them irrefutable photo evidence and you would think they would apologise and immediately send out the missing filters? That isn't what happened! After asking stupid questions answered by my email and the photos, PARTIAL refund... what a bunch of jokers.

I bought a grinder from climpson and sons that didn't work and they have refused to accept it as a return.
The grinder is a Baratza Sette 270 that cannot grind espresso without first being "recalibrated" even though it's brand spanking new.
Coms have been very good.

Makes lockdown mornings even better. Ordered from their website a sample box. Very quickly delivered. All recently roasted bags of beans. And all amazing so far. Will never go back to supermarket coffee beans again.

I love the Climpsons cafe, and recently bought some beans to brew at home. My order arrived on time and the coffee is lovely. ✨
