Quick installation
Quick installation. Would have appreciated more instruction/demonstration, regarding use. Not sure whether timer for immersion heater was installed. No response following my phone call and email, enquiring about the timer.
Thank you for your response. Looking forward to having immersion timer installed in October. I seem to have gleaned from the instruction sheets, how to set thermostats, and I am very impressed by the very controllable and efficient heating. Ditch the old for the new.
Decided it was time to ditch the old night storage heaters for a more modern and efficient storage heating system. Although being apprehensive about the upheaval I decided to opt for the Climastar system.
The date for the installation was within 4 weeks of the order and the company kept me informed about the procedure.
The installation went to plan. The installers were competent, courteous and well mannered and I have no complaints about their workmanship.
I have tested the heaters but they are not being used at present. Autumn and winter will be the true time to evaluate the benefits.
To date I'm very satisfied with Climastar and hopefully over the next few months it will remain the same.

Needed to replace hot air heating…
Needed to replace hot air heating system, but did not want a wet system as wanted to avoid disruption and did not want old fashioned looking radiator.
The installation has been great from survey to deliver.

Above and beyond
I have been looking for an electric boiler and what a mine field. So easy to buy one, but the majority of suppliers out there have absolutely no idea what they are selling!! They do not know the detail of how the boiler works and whether it is fit for use. I had just about given up when I called Climastar UK, and spoke to John McFarlon. His knowledge is unbelievable and in just one conversation, I understood completely what was needed for our house. Although Climastar do not do supply only, John went above and beyond to find out about electric boilers that would suit our purpose and called back with recommendations the following day. How generous to offer so much help when he knew I was not buying a product from him - amazing. Cannot think of any companies that would do that. Thank you so much.

Happy I switched from Night Storage
Seeing a few not-so-great reviews about Climastar heaters made me want to share my own experience. My old night storage heaters were a total headache, with their constant heat loss throughout the day and the frustrating struggle to keep each room at a comfortable temperature. It felt like I was always at odds with them.
However, everything changed when I switched to Climastar heaters. Thanks to their app, I can now control my heating whenever and wherever I want. Gone are the days of heating up the storage heaters overnight, only to wake up to an unexpectedly warm day and an unbearably hot house.
The app could use a bit of tweaking to make it more intuitive, but on the whole, I'm really happy with how everything's turned out. In fact, I plan to get rid of our last night storage heater in the utility room and replace it with another Climastar heater as soon as possible.

Impossible to extricate yourself from their mailing list …
I reviewed Climastar back in October after having awful trouble getting myself off their mailing list - I thought finally I had been removed until today, 11th July, when I received yet another unsolicited email from them marketing their rubbish products.
DO NOT sign up to any emails from this unscrupulous company or they will plague you forever with their spam.
Following the ‘reply’ from Climastar I can confirm that I have twice ‘unsubscribed’ via the link in their emails and have phoned them in the past but all to no avail. So their desperate claim of my review being malicious is unfounded and without any merit. I really don’t see giving them my email address again will achieve anything
A further update, I phoned Paul and he found me on their database twice, one entry said it was deactivated. I appreciate that Paul has now deleted both entries. It still remains that they have or have had some issues with unscrupulous referral companies taking peoples data without permission and putting those details in their CRM but hopefully Climastar can now address those issues.
I have increased the * rating accordingly after helpful contact with Paul.

Good installation process
We haven’t yet needed to turn the heaters on but the front end process of meeting the Climastar rep and having the installation undertaken and completed within a fortnight was excellent. Installation was also undertaken very efficiently with minimal mess. Thank you!

Professional and helpful company
David, the sales guy was very professional and answered all my questions honestly. He was genuine, pleasant and not at all patronising and slimey as some salesmen can be. When my new heaters arrived, I was so pleased with them, what a difference to my old fashioned storage heaters; they really look modern and almost look like a piece of art on the wall. I need to get to grips with the technology but the lady on the phone said I could call them at any time and they'll talk me through the procedure, so that's reassuring. The installation guys were efficient, friendly and cleared up after themselves. Overall I'm very happy, money well spent I feel!
