They are not legit about their services

they just gave me a free trial, and before sending my first email they closed the account mentioning I need to pay. very discouraging

We are very sorry to hear that you have not been able to use our software in the way you had expected for your specific use case.

The purpose of our free trial month is to allow you to test the features of the plan you have purchased for free for one month. Only after the free month has expired will you be charged for the plan you have booked. In addition to the free month, CleverReach offers a permanently free plan (Lite plan). The Lite plan allows you to send a maximum of 1,000 emails per month to up to 250 recipients. As soon as you want to send out to more recipients or more emails, you will receive a notification that you should switch to a suitable paid plan. There is no automatic upgrade.

In order to activate your account to send newsletters, we need your company's contact details in the account settings. Once you have entered the required details, the account will be activated and you will be able to send emails. Payment information is not required. We apologize if communication has been misleading.

However, to rule out the possibility that your case is very unusual or has not yet been considered, please send us an enquiry via our Help Center (https://support.cleverreach.de/hc/en-us/requests/new), with reference to your current rating, your name here on Trustpilot and your CleverReach customer ID. We will do our best to help you achieve your goal.
