Clementine dismantled and rebuild the shower room in my flat, but one of the fittings behind the wall leaked and damaged the bathroom in the flat downstairs. When we complained and asked them to put the damage right they refused to do anything about it and said it wasn't their responsibility. Our normal plumber at home said it would be normal to accept responsibility for such damage and claim on their Public Insurance if it was very expensive. Very disappointed response .

Price was discussed prior to booking. Plumber turned up on time , was polite and friendly. Pointed out my options. We agreed what should be done. Work was completed and he tidied up afterwards. I asked how to pay and was told to just contact the office. The office sent the invoice at the agreed price. A job well done with no problems. I would highly recommend this company

Do Not Deal with Them
We asked for a couple of sets of taps to be replaced due to them leaking, I went to work and left my missus to deal with them – upon coming home they have replaced one set of taps and swapped them around so now my hot tap is on different side to every other set of taps in my house, they told my missus they wouldn’t swap it back as she's not blind she can see the colour on the tap.

On the second set of taps they decided to only replace one as they couldn’t find a way as a plumbing company to turn on the other one so couldn’t check so just didn’t bother, annoyingly they didn’t even leave the other tap for me to sort later they took it away with them.

A few weeks later I look under the sink only to find the pipe they swapped around is leaking and now they wanna charge me for it again as “there is no evidence it’s something we did”.

Either I don’t know how plumbing etiquette works or if these guys are just bad, either way I will never use them again. Offered them option to remedy before posting this and they didn’t seem to care so…

Dealing with Michael, a highly competent plumber has been a real joy.He came following an arrangement of a site visit to examine work connected with two jobs I had flagged up with Clementine .He was able to offer us options for dealing with both and we decided to proceed with the replacement of a cistern in a downstairs cloakroom . The result was he was able to call out the following day and the work was completed in under 2 hours to a high standard. We agreed to defer work on replacing two monobloc taps in an upstairs bathroom until we have found ones of a suitable type, but when we do I will make a point of asking for Michael to do the work.In total my experience of dealing with Clementine hasbeen highly satisfactory.

Excellent experience. My plumber was Callum. He was courteous and professional. The repair to my toilet which on paper should have been straightforward was tricky due to the age of the system but he persisted and although what I imagine would originally have been an hours repair at most, took two hours. I would happily have him for further work.

Your plumber, Michael, was a pleasure to work with, informative and helpful. He explained problems that could arise (but did not) and answered any questions we had to the best of his ability. A job very well done and we will use Clementine for plumbing jobs in the future. Thank you.

Disliked the price to disconnect a cooker it was outrageous.

Last September we had several internal doors replaced by Dave from Clementine. It was mostly a good experience, although we did have to have him back as two doors were sticking. However, there was no issue about him coming back very quickly and the problem was sorted. Then in January I wanted another door handle replaced to match those which had been fitted before, and Dave came again very promptly and did a great job.

Replaced a radiator in my home. Can’t fault work done by Nathan. Nice quick tidy job !

Do not use. Contacted regarding dripping tap, paid £60 deposit. Engineer was good though. But customer service was ridiculous, prices ridiculous, NOT clear quotes. Contacted multiple times by phone to request evidence of payment, has taken numerous calls and emails and nearly a month to obtain the invoice/proof of payment from this company. Total bill £192.22 to "replace a tap cartridge as old one was leaking" part itself was only £12.22! Have been advised to take further by third party but if honest, had enough with this company!!!

And to add I now have another plumber here today (7/1/25) fixing the job that wasn't completed correctly in first place. So a dripping tap that will now cost several hundred pounds!!!!

The plumber and person on the phone for admin very nice and professional, but I had a problem with billing, the admin won't give me a detailed invoice and they have changed the amount of total- paid 60 pounds deposit for the plumber, which in the end wasn't for a plumbing issue but for a simple matter of the window fitting service. They have sent me a few emails with different amount, ranging from 300 pounds (which I refused to pay), now revised for 128 pounds (including 60 pounds). I would definitely not contact them again as the price seems too expensive, and they're not organised in terms of invoicing.

Contacted them through check a trade as electric shower cutting out. Plumber comes out says its electrical. Electrician comes out says pull switch wired wrong installs new switch at cost of £93. Still not working they claim its the wiring then its the brand new shower is faulty. Contacted electrician forum who diagnosed wrong fuse in circuit box straight away replaced myself for £20 and working fine. The work they carried out is shockingly bad replaced switch only but not box it is attached to which had a broken screw holder so now the switch half hangs down exposing live wires to steam from shower. Avoid these people.

From the very start to someone coming out to survey the job to the last day. My house needed a full repipe and after speaking to many different plumbing companies this company was far better than all the rest. Very honest and trustworthy lads who were extremely helpful, polite and that tidied up after themselves. Very professional throughout the process and I am so grateful for the outcome.

Professional fast service for a good price. I am delighted with the finished job which was for some domestic carpentry to fix a broken door frame.

I had a vanity unit fitted in my wet room on 19/1/23.and they were excellent. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.Plumber called Paul Davison, he is very good. Also Caroline in the office was also very good and very helpful and I felt at ease throughout the whole process. Will definitely use them again. Sorry this review is late but better late than never. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much for all your help.
