Great service for my company waste in Redditch.
Really helps that they specialise in commercial waste.
Brand new trucks, friendly drivers and always on time

Used them to clear my house when it was sold. Bit slow on time arrival but otherwise very good

EDITED UP TO 4star because the company made significant efforts to contact me and provide evidence showing that they were not at fault. Also provided "out-of-hours" collection to ensure bin was emptied promptly.

My business recycling is collected by Clearaway, (in Worcester) through a contract with a company called Business Waste, who are a broker (I was unaware of this at the time I signed up, and simply assumed they were a collection company)

There have been an unacceptable number of missed collections with various reasons given such as inaccessible or non presented bins, no access to premises. Initially this was assumed to be a collection company issue, and a low 1* rating was given due to continued non collection of bins after complaints had been made to Business Waste..

Turns out that the company who i have the contract with failed on several occasions to update Clearaway with the correct information for collection despite me signing a new contract clearly giving new address details well in advance, and providing photo evidence of the location of the unit and the bins.

It appears that the missed collections were not a direct fault of Clearaway as subcontractor, but of the other company.

Subsequent to my complaints, Clearaway have made efforts to get in touch, explain the problems that have occurred and what they have done to rectify this.

I am satisfied that Clearaway have provided a good service, based on the details they were provided with.

Why not 5*? It should be pointed out that a Clearaway driver was at some point notified of the change of address, as he made 2 collections from the new address. The subsequent missed collections were by a holiday cover driver, who was given the old address details instead of the new ones. Somewhere along the line the Clearaway system failed to be updated even though a driver was clearly made aware of the address change. Hence, Clearaway have to shoulder some part of the blame and thus 4*.
