I can't praise this Company highly enough! I had some work done on my roof a few months ago by cowboys! They left it half finished and never returned!
Clean and Coat have sorted it out for me and I am so pleased with the result. David, Greg and Alex worked non stop and completed the work in two days. They not only did the cleaning and coating but made good any areas that needed a repair. At the end they cleaned all the windows and frames. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

All customers thinking about having work done beware we had our driveway done but have got issues they have promised to sort to no avail made numerous phone calls promised to ring back nothing left messages with Secretary for Gerrard to ring back not happened and he is suppose to be the man in charge really does not sound good at all so avoid this company as they are not honouring there guarantee so we are now going to try another route avoid this company

Do not buy from this company! We have been trying to get a refund for a deposit paid for a driveway in March 2021. My mother, who was having the driveway done, passed away and so it is no longer needed and the contract is now void. The company are refusing to repay the deposit which is nearly £2000! They do not return calls, promise to contact us and then never do. They cannot be trusted.
Also, they do not fulfill their guarantees. My parents had previously had their roof coated by this company and the coating is now coming away and peeling off all around the edge of the roof. It is still under guarantee and we have reported it numerous times and once again, no one calls back or comes to look.
We are now going down the legal route to claim back the money owed
Please buy elsewhere to save yourself the stress that we have been and are still going through.

Ardi and Greg were very professional and helpful when they did our roof, happy to answer questions and knowledgeable about their job.

Do not use this company - similar story to below - they took my mother’s money but could not do the work - promised to repay the money - they still have not despite many calls.
Cynical preying on elderly customers to take their money - I’m not sure what to do next - small claims court or the police?

Sadly my story is similar to some of the other poor reviews. The lads doing the work on the roof were conscientious and that is where it ends! I signed 2 contracts one for a new conservatory roof and the other for the house roof to be cleaned and coated, spending over £16,000 which was a big deal for me! Both salesman over promised items to get the sale, one being a new gutter system which persuaded me to go ahead with the contract. It became clear after making many contacts with them that they had no intention of fulfilling the contract. My experience was that nobody contacted me unless I made the first move and even then I didn’t always get a response and quite a few times when I waited in nobody contacted me as arranged. I felt like I was a bad apple, yet all I wanted was what we agreed! 6 months went by before my roof was coated. A big shock to me was that 2 neighbours after seeing my roof signed up with Clean and Coat to have theirs done and both were completed before mine. Even then I had to contact the office again to find out why they were in my road and hadn’t contacted me about completing my roof. Their web page says ‘With a second to none work ethic and attention to detail we will not be beat on Quality, Experience and an old fashioned attitude towards our clients’ I think it would of been as a nice gesture if they offered to paint the conservatory roof to look the same as the main roof. In conclusion my experience of Clean and Coat is that they are quick to get your money.

If there was an option to leave a ‘minus’ star rating, I would have used it. Three years on after their first visit, the work remains unfinished and, the damage they caused, un-repaired.
This company repeatedly took advantage of my mother (who is in her seventies) and has caused her three years of grief and expense.
Do not show up when they say they will.
Do not perform the work as detailed on the contract.
Do not repair their own damage.
Take zero responsibility for addressing customers concerns.
Avoid all the strife and legal fees and get a competent company to do the work instead.

Had this company do several jobs for us. However when a problem developed (moss regrowing where it was not supposed to) over the last 6 months they have ignored emails and letters. After phone calls one of them said they would be out to inspect. Never turned up wasted a day and half waiting for him. Another phone call to some bored individual in the office a few days later some bloke called back only to say it wasn’t his problem he would pass it on!!! Two months later - nothing. There is sort of warranties on the products used bit nothing to protect against poor workmanship. So good luck to anyone who uses this lot.

We had this company in to clean and seal our drive.
The finished job and its appearance looked great.
It really did look good.

What a shame though they employ a glib smooth talking salesman !
During discussion about the job, with the salesman we were assured that it had a ten year guarantee and it would receive two coats of sealant.
Having a "ten" year guarantee sold it to us as I cannot get and do it myself.
When we received the paperwork the guarantee is for
one year only.

I questioned the one coat with the operative at the time and he showed me the sealer. Quite clearly on the container it said one coat.

If you are thinking of employing this company please think carefully.

They are happy to take people's money but they are in no hurry to carry out work. They have had my mother's money since January (we are now in may) and have not carried out the work. They did not call to tell her there was a delay she had to call for weeks and weeks before they gave us an installation date which they did not show up on. This time they did call to day that the windows had not been delivered to them so they wouldn't be coming. They still have my mother's money and she still does not have her windows!

We had our roof cleaned. Full moss removal, all broken roof tiles replaced, gutters cleaned and flushed through. All remedial work carried out, including pointing.
roof treated with fungicidal spray, prior to painting with two coats of specialised roof paint [ choice of six colours]. Work was completed over two days. There was a lot of mess on the first day, but it was quickly cleaned up by the men. They did an amazing job. Worked hard, polite and professional. Rarely stopped for tea breaks, and gave attention to detail.
On completion of work, there was no mess left behind, and they even cleaned the windows before they left !!

Let me begin in April 2017 when we paid £5,928 for our roof to be cleaned, coated and guaranteed for 10 years.
The cleaning was shambolic and consisted of a man in wellingtons walking up the tiles cleaning with a high pressure hose. I was concerned that he would fall but was told "this is how he always does it"
The next process was the repair and replacement of the concrete securing the ridge-tiles and gulleys and then the application of the sealant coat.
The whole thing looked great for about 6 months and then the coating on the cement in the gulleys and ridge tiles began to peel off. After several attempts we managed to get a crew back to patch up the cement and repaint. Again after 6 months the whole thing crumbled again but by now the roof tiles had started to turn green.
Getting a response now became problematic and was further complicated by the pandemic until out of the blue came a visit from a man called Mark who sagely shook his head and agreed that this wasn't a good piece of work and that he would ensure it would be rectified quickly.
That was 9 months ago and I am still waiting. We no longer park our car close to the house because of falling masonry and our once shiny roof is now a lime green colour.
I note all the Trust Pilot 5 star reviews are from customers basking in the glow of a recent "Clean & Coat." My advice would be wait another 6 months and see what it is like.
We took the chance that a 10 year guarantee meant what it said and that the company would honour its commitment; neither is true.
Don't go near this company

Just had some decking installed in a corner site. It was completed on time and to my satisfaction. The men were very helpful and hard working. I am very pleased with the result, and do not hesitate to recommend the company

Our bungalow was very much in need of a roof renovation as the whole property was being let down by dirty and unsightly tiles. Two of our neighbours in the village had their roofs clean and coated and we were so impressed with the transformation that we decided go ahead on our bungalow. Dave & Greg were superb, they arrived on time each day and they worked tirelessly throughout to ensure that a quality job was done on both the clean and the coating. Their attention to detail was superb leaving no stone unturned to ensure that all aspects of the job were completed to our satisfaction. All windows, doors, facias and gutters were fully cleaned leaving the property looking superb.
I highly recommend Clean and Coat Ltd if you are looking to transform your roof.

Had the roof to our detached bungalow cleaned & colour coated, two operatives Dave & Greg worked their socks off over the 3 visits they made to the property, cannot praise their work ethic, professionalism & customer focus highly enough, not only is the end product great to look at, but before they left, the whole site was cleaned & returned to its former state, brilliant job, would recommend them to anyone, well done !
