Great teacher and a really fun activity - explained and showed things clearly, and helped us make things right when they went wrong!
Fantastic pottery throwing class
Great class, learning to throw pots. Lovely studio in interesting area. Amanda was great, knowledgeable and informative. She took us through all the different steps demonstrating on her wheel and was there to offer advice and help when needed. Nice small class. Really looking forward to returning to decorate soon!
Sculptural Willow Animal Weaving Workshop
Stephen, Xavier and Holly were all amazing! Particularly Stephen who ran the course, was so talented, kind, encouraging and was so funny had us in stitches for the whole day! When we arrived he showed us ref pictures of what other 1st timers had made and I thought - no way! But every one of us created something to be proud of! My top tips - definitely do it but take a kneeling pad if you have one! Big thanks to the team! I made an almost life sized Galapagos saddleback tortoise and have named him Dave in honour of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday weekend.
Oil painting class
I had a one to one oil painting class with Caro (a professional artist) in her Streatham Hill studio and it was excellent. She paints the subject along side you so you can learn from her technique and is always happy to give suggestions and support if you want them. I learnt so much! Highly recommend these classes.
Collage Social Workshops By Something Good - The Best!
One of the best ideas and initiatives to bring creativity to life and bring the community together to just create and free flow with crafts.
One of the best workshops ever attended and looking forward to continuing doing so.
Really recommend for everyone to give try when they can. Such a kind and calm atmosphere from the venue itself, to the hosts and the attendees, and whole duration of the workshop really is ‘something good’ 🥰

Super fun event
Wheel throwing class
Did a pottery class which was amazing! Super easy to book with class bento
Had an amazing glass flower workshop
Had an amazing glass flower workshop.
The instructions were very detailed and ensured we could stay safe. We were shown multiple options for how to shape our flowers which was great.
The flowers were packaged up very well so they had the best chance of getting home safely.
We were told about all their upcoming classes which sound very exciting. Would highly recommend.
Straightforward and a good choice of classes
Great experience booking a pottery class through Class Bento after receiving a voucher for a leaving gift at work - very easy to see all the options locally, and found a brilliant class just round the corner. Redeeming the gift card was very simple.
Amazing Jewellery Making Class with Shanice
Booking with Class Bento was really easy and their range of options was amazing. We booked Shanice for a jewellery making class at a hen party. Shanice was amazing! She had an incredible selection of beads and charms, all of really good quality. We also got to take home our tool kits and mats. Shanice was so helpful and patient, demonstrating key skills to start with but then support us all to individually create our masterpieces. The session was really good value for money and we'd all highly recommend her!
Ceramics Taster Workshop…..brilliant!!
This 2 hour Ceramics Taster Workshop was brilliant. A small class of 5 (the maximum they let book for each class is 8). The teacher Sophie was really nice. Friendly, but professional and very helpful when I asked questions or she thought of something to help me with the piece I was making. You can’t expect to make much in 2 hours but it gives you a good idea of the fundamentals and whether perhaps you would like to take it further and book a course at a later date. I made a small squarish dish which I am extremely proud of because I made it. I will return to collect it in a few weeks because it has to dry and be glazed etc. I highly recommend this Taster Day. 5🌟’s.

I did a ceramic lantern house class using a class bento voucher. Booking wax be tv y easy and straightforward, lots of classes to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed the class. Clear instruction from the tutor and it was a small class of five people which I preferred. I would thoroughly recommend booking via class bento.

I went to a Kintsugi class booked through ClassBento. The booking was so easy and I got a quick response when I needed to reschedule. The class itself was so much fun and it was lovely to find a way to reuse broken ceramics. There are lots of other classes on ClassBento that I’ve added to my favourites and will be booking in the future.
I highly recommend Hobbycraft wokshops
The on line booking process was so clear quick and simple, I also received a couple of reminder emails which were helpful. The price of the workshop was very reasonable. The teacher Lexi was wonderful - approachable, clear, helpful, patient and very encouraging as well as so skilfull.
Great platform
I used ClassBento to book a small leather crafting workshop and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and thoughtful the platform is. From the frictionless booking experience and helpful reminders to the built-in messaging with tutors and thoughtful follow-up emails, ClassBento exemplifies what a good platform should look like.
Fantastic beginners 1.1
I had a 1.1 crochet lesson with Nancy. It was fantastic. We went at my pace and she took time to be sure I was confident before we moved on. I have been practicing since the lesson and am loving having this hobby
One to One Crochet lesson
My son (aged 8) had a great one to one workshop with Sarah at Hobbycraft in Woking. He found the tips she gave him really helpful and he really enjoyed it. I will definitely be booking again.
Had an amazing team-building session…
Had an amazing team-building session painting mugs, and it was the perfect mix of creative chaos and genuine bonding. There’s something oddly therapeutic about turning a plain mug into a “masterpiece” while your teammates confidently announce they’re “not artistic” and then produce something gallery-worthy. Lots of laughs, great conversations, and just the right amount of friendly competition (mainly over who had the steadiest hand and who got a little too ambitious with fine details). Everyone got stuck in and walked away with a one-of-a-kind mug and a few new insights to colleagues. Highly recommend as a team activity: relaxed, inclusive, and surprisingly satisfying, with the added bonus that our next coffee break will be full of personality. Thank you to our teacher Emma from all at VFS Financial Services, Warwick
lovely experience
had a really lovely experience at the terrarium workshop in London. It was informative and well run, and the tutor was super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely dedicated. They were very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable throughout. The materials were excellent quality, and I came home with a beautiful terrarium and a big smile on my face. Highly recommended! The booking process and availability of courses in ClassBento is amazing! i am now looking for another workshop:)
